"Don't!" Maxon demanded. "Let me come with you this time."
Finally, Skylar agreed. It was to dangerous to go out alone. They woke up Rosie to watch the camp. They then headed out.
Skylar led Maxon where they found Jack. "Hello!?" Skylar yelled. They look at each other when they heard a girl cry. They didn't know where she was.
"Look, I'm sorry my friend hurt you, but you shot our friend in the back!" Maxon yelled. The crying suddenly stopped.
"We can help you! We are running from the kingdom as well! Jack, the guy who broke your fingers is hurt, and so is his friend, Bella. "I'm a healer! If you just come out, I can help you!" Skylar explained as they both continued looking for the source of the crying.
She looked at Maxon when they heard two people talking. The talking then stopped and they heard walking towards them. They still didn't see anything.
"How do we know you are not lying?" A voice whispered in Skylar's ear.
Instinctively, she yanks back her elbow. She hits something. Suddenly, a boy became visible behind her. He had red hair and brown eyes.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to... you scared me!" She yelled at the boy. "I didn't break anything, did I?" Skylar grabbed him.
"I think you broke my rib." He exhaled.
Skylar puts her hands on him and heals him.
"Thanks..." He looked at her. "You really are a healer." He said astonished.
She nodded. Maxon was amazed at what just happened. The guy just appeared out of no where.
"Can you help my sister?" The boy begged her.
"If you take me to her." She said.
The boy led Maxon and Skylar to where his sister was sitting. The girl was about 14-15 years old. Her fingers were definitely broken. It looked as if the bone was about to break out of the skin.
"Who are they?" The girl asked her older brother.
"This is a healer." The boy said. "That girl you shot was one of her friends, as was the man who hurt you. She came to help." He looked at Skylar and Maxon. "I'm Thomas, and this is my little sister, Mia."

"I'm Maxon, and this is Skylar. We're here to help you." He tried to sound friendly.
"Let me see your fingers. They are badly broken but I can heal them." Skylar explained as she gently took Mia's hands. She put her hands on her's and healed them.
"Now, my friends are unnaturally weak after their contact with you. What was in your arrows?" Maxon asked.
Mia turns and looks at Thomas. "Nothing." She said.
"Is it magic?" Maxon asked. "We know Thomas can turn invisible. Are you able to do something too?" He looked at Mia. He saw her hesitate. "Its alright. We are just like you. There is no need to worry."
