All Alone

Chapter 25

          They all skillfully snuck into the Village. They hide in shadows, knocked out a few guards,  turned off lights, ecetra.

         Once they came to the gates, Jack stopped and turned into a Night Fury. It would be the perfect dragon for stealth and accuracy, especially since he was told to take the guards on top of the walls. 

        He was about to fly up until Bella stopped him. "Let Mia ride in your back so she can brain-attack them." She whispered.

        Jack growled. He was NOT going to let some girl who, might be added, almost killed Bella, ride on his back. Jack and Bella had a stare off for a moment. Bella won, as usual and he let Mia in his back. He of course gave the warning-like growl at her.

      "I can only use my mind control at short distances." Mia whispered. 

     "Then use Jack's bow." Bella handed her a thick, watch-like bracelet. "Just flip your wrist once you put it on."

       Jack totally did not want this girl using HIS bow, he wanted to protest and snatch it out of her hands, but he knew this was the only way to save Skylar from an execution. He didn't say anything and just glared at Mia.

      Mia did as she was told and flipped her wrist. Once she did so, a very well made bow came out of the bracelet. She jumped when it appeared.

    "Okay, lets go!" Maxon said and they all went to their positions.

    Thomas turned invisible and snuck up on the gaurds on the ground. He got into a fight with them all, but it's not like they stood much of a chance. He was invisible. Anyway, he took them all out.  

     From above, Jack and Mia were doing a great job. They both shot, hitting their targets every time. Jack did maneouvers in the air while Mia occasionally jumped off, shot, then Jack caught her.

      Once the guards were delt with, Jack came down with Mia. They all moved in.

     They came to the castle. Bella blew the door open, and when they got inside, Rosie froze the door so no guards could get in.

    Jack turned into a Rumblehorn (one of the best tracker dragons) and started smelling out the location of Skylar. Maxon broke from the group to find the king.

     After about ten minutes, Jack led them to a dungeon. He found the cell Skylar was in, and Bella blew the cell door off its hinges.

    When the group got inside, they saw Skylar unconscious. She was beaten badly and was bleeding everywhere. 

     Mia ran over and did some brain thing. "She should stay alive longer now, but not by much. She needs medical attention." She said.

     "Bella." Rosie said. "Get Skylar somewhere safe." 

      Bella nodded and blew her and Skylar out.

     Jack turned human and the rest of the group went to go find Maxon.

     Maxon entered the king's throne room.
