Chapter14: the least she could do.

Jungkook's POV..

I kept running through unfamiliar hotel hallways and taking random turns whenever i see that I'm nearing walls.

I only noticed that I'm not running alone when the hand that mine is clasping tightens and slows down my speed.

Only then I felt that I'm running out of breath.
I turned around only now realizing that I dragged this poor girl with me.

She looked way more exhausted than before, I felt bad that I dragged her along with me unknowingly.

She leaned down with her hands on her knees as she breathed heavily trying to steady her breathing.

Then she finally looked up at me "what was that?!" She said still panting, I'm not sure what she's referring to exactly, but I'm sure that whatever she's referring to, I still wouldn't know the answer to that question.

I looked around avoiding looking at her and reviewing what happened a few minutes ago.

Then i heard her panicked voice "what happens now? All these people just saw you in an entrance of a hotel with a girl that's me!!" She states running her hand through her disheveled hair.

Before I could think of how or what to reply she continues " I don't even have the luxury to worry about you or about the things that people will say about you and to you!! I've never been a situation as terrifying as this!! O my god!!" I don't know if she was talking to me or herself but some of her words were in English some in korean, but I'm guessing she's too freaked out to notice.

I honestly don't know what to do. Normally, I'd just leave through the back door or something.
Which is exactly what I'm supposed to do right now.
"You go to your room and I'll just leave through another door or something" i told her.

She was quietly considering the idea.
"Alright, do you need help finding an exit?" She politely offered.

I'd lie if i said I don't but I can't get her in this situation with me.

"No, it's alright, thanks" i smiled.

She sighed "I'm sorry.. you really didn't have to come all the way here with me, this wouldn't have happened if you didn't" she said in a low voice looking down at her fingers as she played with them.

"It's alright, I insisted, it's not your fault, it already happened" i said softly.

"If you need help just..." she trailed off.

" it's okay, I'll ask a staff member or something"  i said convincingly.

She was quiet for a minute, then she bowed "thanks again jungkook". Then she slowly walked away towards the elevators and i walked to the lobby to ask about some back door or emergency exit or something.

I reached the main counter "excuse me, where is the other exit?" My words came out slightly rushed.

The guy behind the counter seemed to recognize me, which is probably why he didn't ask any questions and just told me that the emergency exit is at the end of the hallway.

As i walked there and passed by the main glass doors, the amount of people who gathered when we were out there multiplied, and more than half of them are in school uniforms, they skipped school to stand in front of a hotel most of them aren't even sure I'm in.

I walked to the hallway where the emergency exit is located and as i walked I noticed someone coming out of an elevator and started walking towards me.

I glanced behind me, and saw y/n with her mouth open like she wanted to say something before I turned around and saw her.
"Hey.. why haven't you gone to your room yet?" I asked.

She looked around avoiding my gaze "i just thought I would help you while you need help." She said as she finally looked at me.

"It's okay, I'm leaving now through the emergency exit at the end of this hallway" i said as i pointed at the end of the hallway where the door is.

She looked at where I pointed then looked back at me "I'll just walk you there then" she suggested, more like stated.

"You really don't ha-" i was interrupted by her voice.
"You helped me alot, the least I could do is walk you to the door."

I didn't argue more since it wasn't a big deal.
Then we started walking towards the door that has a sign on it that says it's an emergency exit.

Once we reached it, I smiled and bowed to her like she bowed at me when she thanked me.

She chuckled and bowed back "it was nice meeting you" she said.

"It was nice meeting you too"

"Thanks again." She said before I opened the door.

As soon as i did all i heard were screaming and yelling.
And in all that noise i heard my name being yelled.
So i peaked my head out to see, and i wished I didn't.

There it was, people crowded at the door i was standing behind and the screams got louder, it was almost impossible to hear anything else.
