Your POV..

I feel so weird right now.
I'm trying so hard to open my eyes, but the pain in my head is too much to ignore.
I feel strangely comfortable.
Like I'm laying on a cloud.

Wait..

I was standing in the rain before this.
What happened?
I'm not in heaven, am l?

I suddenly shot my eyes open and sat up quickly, the pain in my head increased, it's like a bullet was passing through it.
My vision was blurry I couldn't see well.
I blinked a few times to adjust my vision, trying to put the pain in my head aside and figure out what happened.
I looked around as soon as my eyesight was clear.
I was on a couch in an unfamiliar house.
It looks ok, it's not like I'm kidnapped.
Suddenly i heard loud thunder that made me gasp and flinch.
Then i heard sounds nearby, i looked towards where the sound came from.
This could be the owner of the house most likely the person that brought me here.
There was a corner after the staircase, that's where that sounds came from.

As i was trying to look after the corner, i guy suddenly walked from the corner with a mug in his hand.
He noticed that i was awake.
I was so nervous i wished i was invisible.
Is this the guy that helped me?
I looked away as soon as I realized i was staring.
I was still on the couch sitting up while my legs are still stretched out underneath a thick blanket.

My heart is pounding.
I'm basically alone in a stranger's house with a stranger in an unfamiliar country.
I was so scared but I tried not to show it.

I looked at him again as I tried to organize words to ask him something.
"Who are you?" I said hesitantly.

He stopped whatever he was occupied with and looked towards me with wide eyes.
"You speak korean?" He said surprised.
I didn't answer that because it's obvious.
I just waited for him to answer my question.

"I saw you out in the rain and brought you here until it's over... umm.. you have a fever by the way"
He looked a bit nervous and maybe shy, which made me feel better that he's not gonna do anything to me.

I nodded at what he said as i took my legs off the couch and sat normally.
I was about to take the blanket off of me.
But when i looked under it I gasped silently, my clothes were sticking onto me.
I hope he didn't see this, this is so embarrassing and uncomfortable.
I left the blanket on me and awkwardly looked at everything around me except the guy a couple meters in front of me.

He put the mug he was holding in front of me on the coffee table.

"My mom used to make this for me whenever i had a fever... it's good"

I looked at the mug then took it in my hands and held it close so i can sniff it.
I was so nervous to ask what it was.

He took a book from the table beside the arm chair he was sitting on "it's just green tea with a little bit of ginger...ginger"
He said the last word in English which he seemed to be hesitating before he said it.
If i were in any other situation i would laugh at his pronunciation but I wasn't in a situation where i could laugh at the pronunciation of the guy who helped me and still trying to help, that would be so rude, maybe he will get mad and kill me or something.

I held the mug closer to my lips and slowly tilted it until i felt the warm liquid on my lips then I held the mug away for a second.
It is green tea and ginger.
I felt a little less tense and nervous knowing that he was telling the truth and he was also nervous around me too.
I continued drinking the warm tea, surprisingly it made me feel better and eased the pain in my head and warmed my insides a little bit.

I lifted my head slowly to look at him.
Luckily he wasn't looking at me he was reading a book.
I looked down again "thank you"
I felt him look up from the book towards me "i'm glad you feel better"

I looked at him when his eyes were on the book in his hands.
The more i look at him the more he seems familiar to me.
Do we know each other?
If we do, that's probably why he helped me.
But I don't know him but the more i look at him the more i feel like I've seen him before.
Where have i seen him?
I've never been to korea before.
