Chapter 49: I think.

Y/n's POV..

Before i knew it i was on the stairs going up the stage behind Jungkook who had my hand in his.

I couldn't help but feel how my fingers fit perfectly between his.

I stood next to him but took a step back after my eyes landed on the huge amount of people in front on me each with a different reaction to what they're seeing.

I looked back at Jungkook as he smiled widely at me making me smile back at him.

He then picked up a mic that sat on the edge of the stage without taking his eyes off of me.

It just seems like we can't take out eyes off of each other.

"Hello, ARMY!" He spoke in English into the mic causing ARMYS to scream at the top of their lungs making me jump.

"I have something to tell you." He said looking at me.

I honestly was so lost looking at him that I didn't know if he had something to tell me or something related to me to tell the ARMYS.

I just had my eyes on him the whole time because i miss him so much and right now... looking at him was not enough.

So i took a step closer and laced my hand through his making his smile widen as he looked down at our hands.

"I've always imagined this moment in my head but i never thought it'd happen." He spoke through the mic while still looking at me.

"And i think it's the perfect time to tell you that the little time i spent with you is one of the times where i wished wholeheartedly for it not to end." He continued and my heart started beating faster which I didn't even think is possible.

"I loved taking care of you and i felt really empty when I couldn't do it anymore." He tightens his hold on my hand as his eyes were only focused on mine like there was not hundreds of people watching us.

"I just wanna let you know that... i wanna take care of you, i wanna spend my time with you, i want to be with you."

He took a deep breath and i held mine.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked with anticipation evident in his voice and hopeful eyes.

I got closer to him suddenly feeling bold.

With the mic between our bodies i looked into his eyes as i answered.

"Yes."

At that moment, the whole place just blew up with screams and chants but all i could hear was my heart beating out of my chest.

His face bloomed when he heard my answer.

He put the mic down on the floor and before i knew it he grabbed me by the waist and pressed me up against him making my breath hitch and come out in short pants.

"Let's go." He whispered and tugged at my waist more towards him.

I nodded almost instantly as my eyes roamed his face.

Soon, we're backstage only separated by a curtain from more than a thousand people.

His lips on mine, both feeling like no matter how physically close we are we still want more.
