Your POV
6:30pm
The plane finally landed in incheon airport.
I got off the plane and found my luggage and went through the security check.I walked through the airport towards the wide automatic sliding glass doors that leads outside.
I got into one of the taxis that were lined up on the side of the street in front of the airport.
I told the driver to take me to the hotel I'll be staying at.After about half an hour, i got to the hotel and payed the taxi driver.
I dragged my suitcase after i took it out of the trunk.I got my room keycard, got into the elevator and pressed the number of the floor where my room is located.
After a minute or so, i got of the elevator and found the room i booked at the end of the hallway.
I put the keycard near the little scanner on the door.
It flickered green as the door unlocked.
I dragged my suitcase in and left it on the side of the room.
I looked around and sighed happily.
Thats a fancy room.
I slid the curtains open.
I had an amazing view of the city.
It looked so pretty at night, even though it still 7:30pm.
I decided to walk around the area a little.
I wasn't as worried about being alone as i was before, especially after daehyun told me this area is really safe and there are a lot of people here.I exited the hotel, and inhaled the cool breeze as I started walking.
I still wanted to stay close to the hotel so I wouldn't get lost and come back to call my parents and daehyun, eat dinner and rest after this.I started walking and looking around.
Eventually the weather kept getting cooler and a bit foggy.
'I gotta go back now before it starts raining or something'
As i was walking back, the same way i came.
A Lightning strike lit up the sky followed by thunder sounds echoing through my ears, causing me to flinch.
I quickened my steps.
Seconds later it started raining heavily..Very
Heavily
It was so loud and I barely could see what was right in front of me.
I was shaking and shivering, i was soaked with water, and i was so scared.
I can't see anything.
It keeps getting worse.
Wind was howling through the rain.
Lightning strikes and thunder sounds making me flinch as they only increase and get louder.
Streets were completely empty.
It's like people knew this was gonna happen.
I walked slowly forward, squinting my eyes to prevent raindrops from getting in my eyes. the surroundings were so dark as if i was blind.
I had one of my hands out just so I wouldn't bump into anything.
As i kept walking slowly through this crazy unexpected weather.
I felt something on the fingertips of my hand.
It was rough like wood so I assumed it was a tree or something.
I walked a bit faster towards it and leaned on it, like my life depends on it.I was still getting drenched in rain, cause the cold strong wind was blowing raindrops all over me.
'I'm so unlucky and stupid.'
'What the hell was i thinking when i left the hotel at this hour?'
'How the hell will I survive?'
'I wanna go back home to my family'
'I don't want this'
I felt my eyes sting, I don't know if it's my tears or raindrops.
I reached for my pocket almost sure that my phone was in there.
Maybe i could use the map to go back to the hotel.
I put my right hand in my right pocket.
I opened my mouth slightly surprised that it was empty.
I checked my left pocket, it's empty too.
I slapped my forehead as I remembered putting it on the hotel room's night stand. At this point, i had completely lost hope.
I guess the only thing I could do right now is wait.
I don't know what exactly am i waiting for.
The rain doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
My brain was frozen.
I was shivering rapidly.
I felt like a thick layer of ice had formed on my body.
Next thing i know i was balling my eyes out.
