Chapter 9 – Binding Agreement

MICHAEL'S POV

The first thing we heard as we entered Calum's hospital room was a big loud 'FINALLY!' coming from him. I chuckled as I handed him his first meal after 3 weeks of being asleep. And in a matter of seconds he was chomping down the grilled pork and mashed potatoes causing us to chuckle. He looked at me, swallowing his food first before speaking.

"So? How was it, Michael?" he asked me, grinning cheekily.

I raised an eyebrow, not knowing what he was talking about. "What do you mean?"

He rolled his eyes. "I meant the sex, Mike. Was Ashton good? How many times did he make you cum?"

I blushed hard and smacked his arm.

"Ow! Hey, you can't go and hit me like that! I'm a patient here!" He whined.

I scoffed. "Patient my ass, Calum."

He pouted and continued eating his food. I sat on his bed and decided to ask him about what happened before he lost control.

"So, what happened with Luke three weeks ago?" I asked.

He stared at me blankly. "What do you mean three weeks ago? That was when the vampire escapee attacked the school, right?"

Me and Ash looked at each other. Ashton sighed and said, "Calum, you've been asleep for three weeks."

"WHAT?"

CALUM'S POV

I've been asleep for three weeks? Yes, I know I said that I'd catch up on my sleep but heck, not three weeks. That was too much. I closed my eyes as I recalled what happened with Luke.

"Luke told me something. About the humans using us." I started, causing Ashton and Michael to look at me. "I didn't know what he meant and he promised that he'd explain soon but I don't know when. So, when I saw the Nobles had you guys pinned to the ground and sucking your blood, I wanted to save you guys but Luke stopped me. He prevented me from taking a step further, he wanted me to escape and he promised me that he'd save you guys right after but I ignored him but he still wouldn't budge and I remember punching him. And I felt this anger and I started seeing red. And black. That's all I remember." I explained.

"Luke saved us Calum. He kept his promise, he saved us from the vampires even though he's one of them. If he didn't, we would be corpses right now." Michael spoke.

I nodded and smiled lightly. "I'm just so glad he's alive and I can't wait to hear his side of the story. I can't wait to see him again, guys."

They smiled and Michael spoke up. "Me too, Calum."

"So, since you're awake and got your meal, I'm gonna head to Sergeant Major Brendon and report to him. He said he has something he needed to explain to us regarding Calum and the cursed weapons." Ashton said and turned on his heels to exit the room, leaving me and Michael.

BRENDON'S POV

After Ashton told me about Calum finally waking up, I brought my whole squad together and together we headed up to Calum's hospital room. After seeing Calum lose control right in front of us, I decided to let them make a contract with their very own demon and I will personally train them on how to control their evolved weapons. I'm not letting the same thing happen again so I prepared safety precautions with Chrissy and Alex in case it happens again. They could go berserk any minute during training so I thought ahead to prevent anyone from getting hurt including themselves. I softly knocked on the door before entering with my subordinates.
