The night Jake confessed to me was excruciating. I can't sleep well. I tossed and turned. I laid on my belly, on my back, side to side, I counted sheeps but still won't fell asleep. I hope Jake would just tell me lies again. At least with that, I will fall asleep, soundly. But his words were sincere, and it's as if like he's telling the truth. I hated it.

It's a tuesday morning, and I still felt really heavy and limp. I think I don't want to go to school. It sucks because I had to pass a few homeworks today. I really hope high school to be over so that I could go to college and live alone-without this kind of mess.

I opened my closet and looked for the blouse Courtney said I should wear today. After I shower, I slid the blouse ob, and a black skinny jeans. Also, the black boots she gave me to match the outfit.

It was my routine to ran downstairs, grab a toast, or bagel, or whatever's in plate, and kiss mom and dad, then off to school with Courtney.

The parking lot was full but Court spotted a space. How she managed to slid her car on this space was weird-or she was great at measurements or it was just pure luck. I doubt the former.

"Today is boring." Millie murmured from the back.

"Yeah, super boring. Wish I stayed home." As Courtney slumped her head on the steering wheel. I leaned back, head on the roof. I feel them too. "We could ditch class and I'll find Rumi, he made me a fake I.D. last year."

"Not a good idea, Court." I said as she rolled her eyes at me.

"Party pooper." she mumbled and I pinched her arm.

"Ouch!" She flinched then, glared at me. Kate, Millie, and I laughed at her. She just looked so adorable when she's mad.

"Guys, assholes ten o'clock!" Kate exclaimed. All of us turned on our left. There were Kelly, Sheila and Tyler carrying books and just got out on Kelly's pink Audi.

"What're they up to? If not papers, they were holding books." Millie murmured.

"Whatever it is, it's something fishy." Courtney added. "Whatever, let's go." she said as soon as Kelly's out of sight.

"Court, Amy, we'll see you later. We're just going to meet up for group work befire the class starts." Kate exclaimed with joy. Her smile reached up her ears. They looked both excited.

"Sure you're both up to group work." Courtney cocked a brow and they had a huge grin, then both left Courtney and me. Sure they're meeting with boys. We walked to our building, the students chattered as they looked at us. Okay, this was weird...

Courtney eyed me as I stand on my locker placing my books inside. She crossed her arms as she make her way beside me, leaning on the locker beside mine. "What?" I asked her as I slammed the door shut. She just looked so terrified of something. "Why are you giving me that look? What's wrong? Tell me." And leaned closer my side.

"I-I need you to do me a favor." Wow. Just wow. Whatever could that be? I don't think I wanted to hear it. I looked down the floor and then to her. Her eyes pleaded though she didn't even utter a single word about it. My heart stammered as she opened her mouth.

"It's Oliver. I think...I like him. But he has never looked my way once, since after that party when...you know...I faked that thing..." She sighed. My eyes returned to her beautiful face. "I think he's mad at what I did."

"Then go apologize." I answered, not even bothering to think for a second. Because if I was her that's the first thing I would to do.

"I knew you'd say that. But, think about it. Our whole plan will not work if I get to apologize to him, becausr it will be all over school-which will by the way, ruin our uprising reputation." Then I'd thought about it, once, twice...and yes, she had a point.

"I don't know, maybe you could keep the secret with him, and ask him out or something. Why are you even asking me this? I don't know, Court." I crossed my arms and looked around hoping no one's eavesdropping. Then I saw him. He's by his locker, across mine but too far. He was holding a paper, facing his locker, shoving the contents on that was on his hands inside.

"Amy? Are you listening?" She asked me, her tone boring as she looked at who I was staring at that made me lost her for a while. My heart pumped harder, because she saw who it was. A huge grin on his face. The evil grin. "Oh...checking my cousin out?" I rolled my eyes at her, looking at the opposite side.

"We need to go. Class is about to start." I declared and she squealed a 'yes' getting the crowd's attention. She knew. She knew I was looking at his cousin. It's just so hard to imagine why would Brandon had beaten up Jake. And the fact that Jake didn't fight back knowing that he was known as the school's bad boy intrigued me.

What's up with those two?
