"Ahh..why?" I asked him, curiously.

"For our plan to be believable." He grinned, showing his perfect set of teeth. I just nodded at him.

He held my hand as we walked downstairs.

Drunken people stared at us. Girls glared at me. I looked at the group that's playing truth or dare. They're still there. They turned to look at me. Shooting glances between me and Jake. Including Kate, who wore all smiles in her pretty face.

I looked up at Jake, who still held my hand. His leather jacket hung in his shoulder.

"Oooh..." The crowd murmured.

"Come on, let's get out of here." He pulled me towards the front door. We passed drunk-sweaty-dancing bodies.

We went out the door.

I saw Courtney and Millie outside, sitting on the lawn talking to two other guys. They were laughing.

Courtney, accidentally saw me, when she leaned her head to her right, as we walked by. She stood and ran up to me.

"Hey!" Courtney shouted. "Where are you going?" She eyed Jake suspiciously.

"Somewhere..." I said to her.

"What? No."

"I got this, trust me." And I winked at her, she half-smiled and nodded, at me and we left her.

When we were at the street, we stopped at the pick up truck behind where we parked Courtney's car.

He opened the passenger door and I went in. He walked across the truck and opened the driver's door and got in. He started the engine and drove away.

"Where are we heading?" I asked him.

"I'll show you my favorite spot." His eyes, still on the road.

Five minutes of driving and he put the truck to a stop beside the deserted road. Trees everywhere, and the lamp-lights were too far, so it's really dark. Crickets can be heard everywhere.

We got out the car and he held my hand in  his, and lead me into the forest.

"Are you sure about this? You aren't going to kill me, Are you?" I asked him, the latter turned to a whisper.

He chuckled. "Of course not. I just want to show you this..." And he motioned the scene in front of us.

Woah. I roamed my eyes around and god, this was beautiful!

There's a lake surrounded by the forest, and the stars, they reflect in the water, glimmering in the moonlight.

This is the first time I saw this on actual. I only got to see this in the movies or in the magazine.

But, this...? Wow. Just wow.

I was already thankful he got me here.

"This is very beautiful." As I took the surroundings. Memorizing every detail in my memory.

"I'm glad you liked it." I looked at him, and he was already staring at me, smiling.

"Yeah, thanks for bringing me here."

And I held his hand.

I waved goodbye to my mom and dad who's oblivious at my departure before walking out the door. It's clear to me that they didn't really care about what I did, or where I went.

They hardly ever asked me questions about what's going on with my life. It felt like I'm all alone, which was really okay for me since I don't have anything interesting to tell them. And I don't have a sister or a brother to tell which sucks. And what also sucked is that my friend in freshman year left me. Yeah, he left. James left without telling me of his plans. Now I don't know where he is but I heard he was in L.A.

Courtney's car was already parked on our driveway. I got in the passenger's seat.

Courtney looked at me, wide-eyed. It's creepy, really.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked her.

"So, you and Jake, huh?" She smiled at me, then started to drive. I never answered her questions. Not, until Millie and Kate joined Courtney's inquisition about Jake.

We had picked Millie and Kate from their houses, before heading to school.

"It's perfect you picked Jake. But... I mean...he's the bad boy, you should watch out." Courtney warned me.

"I get it."

"So, you really gave your V-card to him?" Millie asked, curiously with her famous soft, shy tone.

"Of course, no..We had it planned, okay? So don't you worry about me, if you caught me hanging out with Jake." They just stared at me like I've grown two or three heads.

"You sounded like you already know him." Kate said to me.

"No, we're just needing each other's help. I'll tell you after class."

"Where were you two went that night? We saw you drove away." Courtney added a question.

I shook my head. "Nothing important. We just drove by...around the...streets."

"Seriously?" Kate asked.

"Yeah, are you serious? That sounds bo...ri....ng." Courtney added. My heart tightened. I don't know why, but I don't feel like telling them the truth. I don't like to lie to the either.

"Amy is the definition of boring!" Millie shouted, then they all laughed.

"Hey, that's not true!" I glared at them.

"So...you and Jake had fun last night?" Courtney asked again. What am I gonna do? "Okay! We went somewhere!" I exclaimed.
