I never told anyone about what Brandon told. No one, including my bestfriends. When I went home, I cried it all. I took a bath and readied for the game.

I still got fifteen minutes before Courtney's car would show up. I sat on the stairs outside the house. My elbows on my knees, my chin on my hands. I was still thinking about Brandon.

Courtney and Millie arrived and I climbed inside the car.

"Who's ready for the game!?" She exclaimed retrieving a plastic bag on the backseat. "I bought popcorn and sodas." she said.

"Cool. By the way...you looked very happy." I muttered to her.

"Because Oliver asked her on a date on friday." Millie beat her to it.

"Wow, great!" I'm happy that Oliver's really made her happy.

"Come on, game's about to start." she dragged us to the field. We got seats on the middle part. The teams were getting ready. I saw Jake talking on his team. Then, I saw this blonde again. He was with Jake? He plays?

"Your cousin's in the football team?" I asked her, but I'm still staring at number 13. It's Hype. God, why didn't I know this? Oh yeah, because I'm an introvert who never cared about anyone except Kate and Mil.

"Uh-uh." She answered.

"Your cousin's super hot in those gears." Millie said earning a glare from Courtney.

"Don't talk like that about my cousin, it's disgusting." She scrunched her face in disgust. I laughed at the both of them, but Millie's right. Brandon's hot.
I stared at him for a while, then Jake saw me. I gave him a smile and he blew me a kiss, which I caught in my hands. The girls behind squealed. I heard them fought over the kiss Jake sent me. Damn! Here, take it! I'm giving it to you guys just stop fighting.

"Fucking shut up or I'll make you!" Courtney glared at them, and I'm glad they shut up.

Jake went back in the center. I watch Brandon as Courtney screamed. "Brandon! Brandon! We're here!"

He looked at us and he grinned. It's so beautiful, his eyes gleamed with the sunset. He's drawing something on his chest, on top of his heart.

"What's he drawing with his finger?" Courtney asked. My eyes never left Brandon.

"Oh, it's a heart! A heart!" Then, he pointed in my direction. The girls started screaming again. "Oh, it's for you Amelia. How sweet. Two boys fighting over you." Millie continued.

"They're not fighting over me Millie. They're back to being friends again. Me and Brandon too because, Brandon is James." Millie looked at me, confused.

"What?"

"Remember sophomore year, when I met you and Kate, I said the only bestfriend I had left me?" She nodded. "That was Brandon. Brandon James Richmond Hype. My bestfriend, Courtney's cousin. You knew that Court?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I want to tell you but he stopped me. He'll be mad at me if I told you. Now that you know, are you mad at me?"

I shrugged. "What was that? Why are you shrugging? Does that mean you hate me?"

"No, I'm not mad at you. And your cousin and I...we're fine now." I smiled at her.

The crowd cheered as the game started.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The crowd didn't stop cheering until we reached the end of the game. Surely, the game was never boring.

Yes, because there's Brandon and Jake.

Oh, shut up subconscious! Courtney, millie and I went down to congratulate them. Some pretty girls beat us to it. They had markers with them, obviously they want autograph. I saw Jake, signing on one of the girl's chest. God. Why do I have to see that? I turned around. Millie and Courtney saw it too.

"Ew." Millie murmured.

"Duh..." then Courtney ran to his cousin who was talking to a brunette. God, why do I have to see these guys with another girl? Was it to piss me of? Because I swear...it's working. "Hey you, fucking Brandon get your ass here!" she shouted.

"Come on, Amy." Millie tugged on my hand, and I agreed that it's better for me not to see them. It broke my heart.

The image of Brandon with that pretty brunette never left my mind. Wherever I looked, my mind would always end up showing me those ugly images.

"Come on, Amy...say something..."

"What?" I answered.

"I know something's bothering you. I think I know what it was." She smiled at me when I looked at her. She's so nice, and kind. If I tell her my thoughts, what would she say?

"It was Brandon." I declared, and I'm ready to tell her everything she would ask.

"I can see it, the way you look at him. It's different with how you look at Jake." She answered in a serious tone.

"How could you tell?"

"Whenever I see you with him, you just had this chemistry. And he way he looked at you...It's like the way my parents looked at each other." How could she compare me to her parents? We both laughed. "Tell me about him."

"Remember, the night at Brandon's Party? I was so pissed at Jake, I wanted to cry. Then, Brandon showed up. He led me to his room so I could cry there..." I can see her face her jaw dropped. "Oh no, Millie. We didn't do anything except I told him about our plan..." She breathed a sigh, and comfort spread on her pretty face.

"But, I did kissed him that night. And when I woke up the next morning, I wanted to leave. His mother saw me and he said Ibwas his girlfriend. That's when he asked me out." and her blue eyes sparkled with amusement.

"I totally ship you guys." was her only answer. Then, her smile wore off. "But do you look so upset?" she asked. I looked at her, I bit my lower lip. Should I tell her what Brandon said? Of course yes! She's your bestfriend, Amy!

"He told me before the game that he's okay with us just being friends. And when I saw her with that girl...ugh!" I growled the last part. Millie grinned at me, then pointing at me.

"You're jealous! Amy, you like him!"

"No. I'm just jealous because he was my friend. And I remember he wasn't used to talking to someone else except me." My voice was hard and angry.

"But, he's no longer the same guy, Amy." she sighed again. "What about you tell him the truth?"

"What? No! No." She's grinning from ear to ear and I hate that. She's planning something.

"Amy, you won't get an answer if you don't at least try to talk to him."

"But, he's said it. It's fine. I'll just watch netflix on sunday night, stuff myself with popcorn and ice cream until I choke to death, and by the way, I like my coffin purple with white roses around."

"Funny, cause I did the same way when Tyler took my virginty and left me." She laughed hysterically. I didn't find her situation funny. It was saddening, really. But I don't want to upset her. Not now. So I laughed with her too.

"Thank you, Millie. I'll try to talk to him." I said softly. Courtney showed up from the stairs, making her way towards us.

"There she is. Finally." I murmured.

The driver's door opened, and Courtney occupied the seat. "Sorry, it took me long. So, who's ready to party?" Millie and I looked at each other with our faces scrunched up in disgust.
