The rumors on friday night went like a disease. It spreads widely and easily until we can't cure, or find a way to stop it. Poisoning everyone's mind with false informations. So what I did is just pretend I don't hear exactly what the students in the hallway say about me and Jake. But I can't. I heard them talk how they pity me, or how I should wear more revealing clothes so that Jake didn't left me with another hot fella. If they only knew the truth...

If only...

Which sucks...because, I'm suppose to keep it, but hell I told a random guy about it-Brandon. I didn't tell the girls about him. It will make things worse, then it will be hard to concentrate on our plan. And the girls will hate me as hell, Courtney the worse. Hell, how am I gonna confront this guy, to keep his mouth shut?

I was on my way to my third class, and Courtney was beside me. Students were looking at me, glaring, others feeling pity for me. Duh. As if I needed that.

"Fuck, this is hell." I muttered. Courtney glanced on me.

"Hell yeah!" Then, we laughed like maniacs. Courtney was the one to bring good vibes into a bad one, but she was the one who started this so she's obliged to.

"Look who's here." She murmured, looking at someone. It was Kelly with Sheila and Tyler. They were holding sheets of papers. And they looked nervous. Courtney took her phone, then angled it on the edge of the wall so they won't see us. Just seeing Tyler made my blood boil. What he did to Millie was ruthless. He's an animal. Fuck him.

Courtney and I chuckled as they started to walk, coming near us, and we straightened ourselves and started to walk.

"Oh hello there....my loyal friends..." She glanced at Tyler. "And Ex. It's been so long, we haven't hangout for awhile..wanna catch up?" Courtney chuckled, and she was pure evil. I can sense it.

"No, thanks. We got a lot more important things to do." She said as she peek through her nails.

"Like what, cheat?" Courtney blurted, the three turned pale white and they stiffened, while they look at each other. Talk about guilty.

"What are you talking about?" Kelly asked, stuttering and her lips were pressed into a thin line. Sheila and Tyler never said a thing. And so was I. I kept my mouth shut, knowing that Courtney will never accept defeat.

"Oh, nothing...was just asking.." Courtney grinned. "Right, Amy?" Oh, fuck. Now her attention will be on me, stupid Courtney...

"Oh, your new-little-nerdy sidekick...who wore hoodies from some cheap store, now wears gucci, huh? Oh, and I heard what happened with Jake, are you alright? I bet you cry at night because of that. Well, I won't blame Jake, you're nothing. Just some dirty rag doll...once he's finished using you, he will throw you up like puke on a garbage can." She laughed.

I never said a thing, I just stare at her and that big smirk on her pretty, caked face. But my fist went clenching and unclenching, and the next thing I knew, was I landed on her and I punched her fake nose.

All I heard was Courtney's laughter, and gasps from Sheila, and Tyler's shout as he stop us both, or it's just me.

"I forgot to say, to never provoke her." Courtney said, chuckling as she helped me stand up.

What a great day to end monday. We all had detention for four hours. I was glad I wasn't grounded, because Courtney spoke with the head, and she said it's her dad's school, and it was Kelly's group who started the fight. Kelly got her nose bleeding. I wished I had hit with more force, it will be all worth it. I mean it.

I can't stand to be with her in the same room, let it be four-freaking- hours. It was a torture. I was glad it ws freaking over or else I will have to excuse myself and puke on her face. When class was over, we headed right into Courtney's car, waiting for her for twenty minutes.

We saw her as she went down the stairs, and made her way to the parking lot.

"There she is." Millie said meekly.

"Speaking of the devil." Kate added, with an eye roll. Courtney waved her hand at us, then we saw someone trailing behind her.

"Who the fuck is that?" Millie said, curiosity in her voice. Both Kate and I seemed to be amazed at her new words. But as the man behind Courtney drew nearer and nearer, I instantly felt my hand crossed over my chest.

"What took you so long?" I asked her, as she approached us. She gestured at Brandon, who's staring at me creepily.

"This---is what took me so long. I looked all the way for him. This bastard is hiding in the library the whole-fucking-day!" She stomped on his foot, and Brandon flinched. I eyed him warily. He stared at me with amused eyes, then he winked. I gasped. What the fuck was that for? I hugged myself tighter, looking back at Courtney.

"Why are you with him?" I asked her as I glare at Brandon, whose eyes are in a sad, puppy look, as he holds the strap on his backpack.

"Oh, sorry. Haven't I told you that this guy is my cousin?" We all shook our heads at the same time. "Well, you three look cute."

"Come on, inside the car, now!"

Courtney was driving super slow, as she tells us about a party we are going to attend to on friday night. "We'll go with me first, second is Millie, then, Kate, lastly---you Amy." What have I gotten myself into?

"Are you serious about this whole plan?" Brandon asked.

"You don't have to know." Courtney said in a monotone. Then, I remembered something that was not in mind for days.

"Court?" She looked at me through the rear view mirror. Her brows both shot upwards. "Do you happen to know why in the world of fuck's I woke up on Brandon's room after his party?"

Courtney and Brandon chuckled. Clearly showing their answers. Hopefully praying one day to get back at them.
