"Amy! Where were you?" Courtney asked as she slammed her locker door to get beside me. Millie and Kate went by my side too.
"Yeah, lunch's over. We've been texting you." Kate added.
"Sorry, left my phone at home. I was at the library and just had to deal with a headache." I answered as I rubbed my forehead with my thumb and forefinger.
"You mean...that?" Millie pointed behind and we all turned to look at what it was. Of course, Jake and Brandon, racing. Jake beat him to it and stopped in front of us.
"Sorry, Amy. I shouldn't have done that." he breathed heavily from running. Now, Brandon made his stop.
"I'm sorry, Amy. I mean it. Please, can you forgive me?" WHAT THE HELL? I mean, something's wrong. They both were getting weirder and weirder. I face palmed my face.
"Oh, God. Seriously, what's wrong with the both of you?" I dropped my hands down on my sides. Kate, Mil, and Court stared at me.
"I'd rather call it migraine." Courtney said, Jake and Brandon glared at each other ignoring what she said or they didn't get it.

"So, that's what happened? I'm sure they're trying to get your attention. They both like you." Millie said as she spreaded the jam on the bread.
"You're so lucky!" Kate exclaimed.
I glared at her. "Why would I be lucky? It's annoying. They're annoying me."
"Oh, you still didn't get it... Jake is the school's bad boy, and Brandon being the Mr. Goody Two-Shoes, and they both want you..." she added, making me glare at her even more.
"And they're both hot...popular...jocks..." Millie said slowly.
"Oooh...stop with all the chit-chat that includes my cousin. It's disgusting." Courtney crossed her arms as she rolled her eyes. "But they're right, the boys are hot and popular. You can ask them to...you know--"I cut her off and her eyes gleamed with delight.
"Oh, God no. No! Don't even say it."
"Well, it's your chance, remember what Jake did?" I nodded. "Just tell him this is payback." Courtney suggested. "And my cousin, well...he is your problem. Aunt wants to meet you anyway." I froze on her words.
"What did you just say?" I asked her.
"Uh-oh." Millie murmured.
"Uhm...Brandon's parents wants you to have dinner with them, saturday night. That's why Brandon's been bugging you all day." I looked at her accusingly, twitching my lips and brows. "Don't look at me like that, he just told me on the phone after school."
"No, I'm not going. We're not in a relationship. And we'll never be." I crssed my arms, looking at them. "What?" They looked at me, their eyes falling out of their sockets.
"Amy, don't be mean." Kate said as she glared at me.
"Come on, Amy...just go...He's a good guy." Millie glowered. I turned to look at Courtney, waiting for her nagging, but instead she smiled at me sheepishly.
"Are you guys doing this, because you all know I can't say no when you're all like this?" I asked them, and they nodded in unison. My smile was evident, but still the thought of meeting Brandon's parents gives me the shivers even if it's still a fake relationship.

"Amy, wait!" He shouted as I passed the hallway on the way to my locker. I opened it, throwing my stuffs inside before slamming it back.
"What do you need?" I asked him. My stomach churned as I remember my conversation with the girls last night.
"I want to ask you something." he said, fidgeting with his phone. I raised my brows at him. Waiting for his response but I beat him to it. "I---"
"Ifyou'regonnaaskmetohavedinnerwithyouandyourparentsthissaturdaythenmyanswerisyesAreyouhappyBecauseI'mnot."
"What?" He asked me, confusion floods his face. Oh, he doesn't get it.
"If you're gonna ask me...to have dinner with you and your parents this saturday...then my answer is yes. Are you happy? Because I'm not." I repeated, slow, and loud and clear this time.
"Really?" He asked again and I nodded. He pulls me into his chest. My face crashing in his hard-muscled chest. Damn, why did he have to smell so good. I buried my face on it. He chuckled-which brought me back to life. I didn't know how my arms had snaked around his waist. I almost forgot what he did last friday. Maybe, I should just forget it, we could start to be friends again.
"Oh, sorry." I muttered. It's so embarrassing. My eyes scanned around and thank god, students were busy. Unlinking my arms from his waist, my body aflamed with embarassment and I can't look at him. "See you." And I walked away smiling.
Days passed and it's already friday, our plan for tonight will never be changed. It's Millie's turn-which means after Kate, it's mine's turn. My stomach twisted at the thought. We arrived at Courtney's mansion as usual, so we can prepare before the party started.
Courtney wore a dazzling pink tube dress, it's so glittery because of sequins. She walked around the room, whilst Kate fixes Millie's hair in a high ponytail. She was wearing a red tube short dress that clung on her petite but curvy body.
I looked at myself at the mirror while they were busy. My black smoky-eyed makeup was a contrast to the white dress I wore. I love how this dress was sexy yet, doesn't lack of inoccence. The skirt flowed and ended above my knee. The sleeves show intricate lace designs that covered half my arms. Courtney made me wear a 4-inched red pumps.
"Millie, you ready?" Kate asked, her green dress, a contrast on her big brown eyes. Her hair was in a half ponytail, and was elegantly styled. I left mine flow with big, slight, wavy curls. It suits me really. Courtney asked the driver downstairs. We heard her yelled at us to get down.
"Let's go." I said, and they both jumped out their seats and we walked downstairs, meet with Courtney-who's already inside a limousine. This girl knew how to make an entrance.
"Oh, God! We look so amazing!!! Thanks to this styling godess!" she gestured at Kate. Kate did a small bow and we all laughed.
"You did great, Kate." I muttered, as she looked at me, her eyes sparkling. She nodded and gave me a tight hug.
"What's going on? I want a hug too!" Millie joined us and Courtney too.
"Me too!" She squealed.
"Stop squishing, it will ruin our dress." I exclaimed.
"Oh, right!" Courtney yelled cheerfully.
"How long will it take us to Britanny's?" Kate asked.
"Ten minutes..." Courtney answered. I heard that this Britanny was Courtney's friend when she was in 4th grade. She transferred on a private school on the other side of the town. I turned to look at Millie who's on the left of Kate. She looked upset.
"Are you okay, Millie?" I asked her, and after a few seconds she glanced at me. Kate and Court was aware she was not wih us right now.
"What's wrong?" Court asked.
"I don"t think I can do this." She murmured. Kate's face etched with worry. "I'm sorry guys I don't want to upset you, but what if I fail?" Her blue eyes thick and she will burst any minute.
"Don't cry, it'll ruin your makeup. We're almost there and I know you can do it. The three of us will help you. Promise." Courtney promised.
Millie nodded with a huge smile on her face.
