Hey everyone! It's been a while, I mean a long while. I know. But this fanfiction is back for a while. I'm not sure for how long as things are a little all over the place but nevertheless, enjoy the new chapters.

On with the chapter!

It's been almost a week since Harley and Ivy moved away from Gotham. In fact, it had only been a few days. The place they had moved too was at least fifty miles from Gotham. Even though the town they were now living in was much smaller, it still was a decent sized town. In those few days of their new home, Christie practically dragged the pair out on a few day trips. Christie knew that Ivy wanted to settle in their new home first, which included unpacking all their stuff that they had brought with them. However, Christie was about having some fun. One of the days they visited a local park. It was massive with loads of open fields. Then on another day, they went to an aquarium. On all four of the days, the three of them did something apart from going into the town centre. Harley and Ivy agreed to leave going into town for a day or too. They needed to properly settle in, which meant unpacking.

It was Monday morning. Ivy was first awake as she sneakily wandered into Harley's room. Ivy smiled when she saw the blonde fast asleep. She made her way over and climbed on the bed beside her. "Morning baby" Ivy whispered softly into Harley's ear. Harley mumbled as she stirred. Her eyes opened sleepily. They widened when she saw Ivy. "Red?! What are you doing?" Harley whispered. "I've come to say good morning" Ivy replied with a smile. "Did Christie hear or see you come in here?" Harley asked, still whispering. "No Harl, I was careful" Ivy replied.

Harley nodded and sighed. "What's wrong baby?" Ivy asked softly. "I miss sleeping next to you red. I miss your warmth that keeps me calm while I sleep. I miss waking up and seeing your face red" Harley said sadly. Ivy sighed softly and nodded in agreement. "Me too baby... I just want to wait a little while longer. Let me get to know Christie some more... Please?" Ivy replied. Harley nodded and smiled gently. Ivy smiled and planted a lingering kiss on Harley's forehead before sneaking out of the room.

Ivy closed the door behind her and froze. "Uhm..." Ivy uttered, staring at Christie whom were staring back at her. "Is everything okay sis?" Christie asked, looking past Ivy at the door then back at Ivy. "Uh-yeah-I-uhm" Ivy stuttered nervously, her cheeks growing red. "Why were you in Harley's room?" Christie went on. Ivy knew she had to think fast. She thought for about a split second. "Well, back in Gotham she use to have a lot of bad nights due to nightmares and in the morning I usually check on her and comfort her if he had a rough night" Ivy replied. She hoped Christie would by the reason, otherwise she would have to tell her about her and Harley now instead of later.

"Ohhh, okay. I understand. Aww, that's so sweet sis. She has an amazing friend" Christie smiled causing Ivy to smile. Christie then walked away from Ivy. Ivy leaned back on the door and breathed in relief. Ivy technically didn't lie since Harley does occasionally have really bad nightmares, causing her to have a bad night. But it wasn't as often as what Ivy had just made out. Ivy was relieved however that she didn't have to tell her sister the truth. But, Ivy knew that she had to tell Christie soon. She just hoped that Christie would be cool with it.

After that, most of the day consisted of Harley and Ivy unpacking the rest of their stuff and finally settling into their new home. Christie couldn't help out due to her working. Ivy was surprised when she found out that her sister works in the towns' University. The pair unpacked books and decorations from boxes. They had a short break half way through before carrying on until late afternoon when Christie returned. "Hey girls" Christie greeted cheerily. "Hey sis" Ivy replied. "Hey Christie" Harley called. "How's it all going?" Christie asked as she entered the living room. "It's going really well, we're practically done" Ivy told her. "That's great! So I was thinking, since you two have had a long day, how about I order a takeaway to be delivered?" Christie suggested. "That sounds like a great idea" Ivy agreed. "I'll go sort it. The usual?" Christie asked. "Yes please!" Harley exclaimed with a big smile. "Yeah" Ivy smiled. Christie smiled and left the room. Harley bit her lip nervously as she watched Christie leave the room. "I'm gonna get a drink red" Harley announced, leaving the room.

Harley entered the kitchen where Christie was. She was looking for a menu in a draw. Christie hummed to herself as she dug through the draw. Harley grabbed herself a glass and placed it on the side. "Aha" Christie said with a smile, pulling out a menu and closing the dram. She then sat down at the table and opened it up. "Uhm, Christie?" Harley began, pouring herself a drink. "Yeah Harley?" Christie replied. "I uhh... I want to ask you something" Harley said nervously. Christie stopped and looked at Harley. "Are you definitely sure you're okay with me being here?" Harley asked awkwardly. Christie wasn't sure what to say at first. But then she smiled softly and motioned for Harley to sit at the table with her. Harley picked up her drink, walked over and sat down at the table.

"The day I found my sister I was so happy and nervous. I talked and got to know Ivy again. Then I was introduced to you and both of your lives. I've already said this and I'll say it again. You mean so much to Pam. It doesn't take a professional to see it. You were there when she had no one. I would not want to take you away from her. You are a big part of her life and that means a lot to me. I'm glad she has a friend like you in her life. And to answer your question, yes. I am more than okay to have you here. I've grown fond of you Harley, you're like a little sister to me" Christie smiled, laughing slightly. "I'm not okay with you being here. I want you here, in her life. And mine..." Christie added. Harley smiled and nodded. "Thank you, big sis" Harley replied. This caused Christie to giggle. "It's okay. Now, let's order food" Christie grinned...
