--------------------
For the first time in a very long time, Ivy felt alone. The fight yesterday caused Harley to sleep on the sofa in the living room. Ivy didn't know what to do. All she knew was Harley is mad at her and she does have a good reason. All Ivy wanted was to protect her. After getting up from her bed, Ivy went downstairs. Harley was leaving the living room when Ivy was coming off the bottom of the stairs. "Harl, I-" Ivy began but Harley ignored her. Just walking past her and walked up the stairs. Ivy sighed sadly. "Leave her be. She'll come round" Sharon said softly, appearing from the kitchen. Ivy ignored her and went into the kitchen. "Pamela, listen. Please listen to me" Sharon said.
Ivy sighed and looked at Sharon with her arms crossed. "I know you don't one hundred percent like me. I get it. But believe me when I tell you that I'm here to see my daughter. To love her again. For her to love me. I'm sorry if you don't like it. I'm sorry you don't like me" Sharon told Ivy. "It's not that I don't like you... I just don't know if I trust you" Ivy replied sternly. "Trust is something very hard to earn. But to trust someone, you have to get to know them" Sharon said. Ivy stared down at the floor for a few moments. "I'm going out for a bit" Ivy mumbled, leaving the kitchen.
All the way into Gotham, Ivy thought about Harley. She felt really bad. Ivy realized she should have gotten all the facts first before pointing a finger at Sharon and trying to make her the bad guy when in fact she wasn't. Ivy sighed as she parked up in Gotham, got out and began to wander off. She didn't get very far when she heard someone calling her. "Pamela, hey!" Jane called with a smile. Ivy smiled slightly but as soon as Jane saw her, she could tell something was bothering her.
Sharon knocked on the bedroom door and entered. She found Harley sitting on the edge of the bed with a portrait of Ivy in her hands. Sharon sat down beside her and looked at the portrait. "You love her a lot" Sharon said softly. Harley nodded in response. Sharon placed her hand on her forearm. "I don't know what to do... I'm so confused mom" Harley sobbed, sniffing slightly. "Darling, she was just trying to protect you. It shows how much she loves you" Sharon told Harley. Harley nodded slightly. "She knows she made a mistake and she is sorry. Talk to her, please talk to her. For me, okay?" Sharon added. Harley nodded in response.
"Pamela, you've been staring into space for the past half an hour and you haven't said a single thing, what's wrong? Talk to me" Jane urged. Ivy shook her head, looking down and playing with her fingers. "Please, talk to me. I know something is wrong" Jane added, worried for her friend. Ivy's chin quivered as she tried to hold back the tears. "Harley's mum turned up the other week and... And I got suspicious of her. I found something out and before I got the facts, I acted first before thinking. Harley hates me and she has every right to be" Ivy said sadly. She wiped a tear from her eye, trying to remain strong. "She doesn't hate you. Harley could never hate you. She loves you too much" Jane told Ivy. Ivy just shrugged. "At the moment, she's just angry. But she does not hate you... Harley's mum, is she short and a bit plump?" Jane asked. Ivy looked at Jane. "Yeah, how do you know?" Ivy replied. "I may have bumped into her the other week in the mall. She was asking for Harley and she seemed desperate. I could tell it was a mother in high hopes of finding her daughter" Jane revealed. Ivy covered her head with her hands. "It was you. She really is innocent. I-I wasn't sure if I had gone crazy or not" Ivy admitted. Jane smiled. "No, you haven't gone crazy. But I think you need to go home and clear things up. Tell Harley you're sorry and you've made a mistake. And embrace her mother into your lives. It's the only way you will be happy" Jane smiled. Ivy smiled slightly and nodded.
Ivy said goodbye to Jane not long after. She left Gotham and began her drive back home. As Ivy got closer to the house, the more nervous she got. She took deep breaths as she pulled up to the house. Ivy parked up and switched the engine off. She smiled slightly at the house and got out. She walked towards the house, taking deep breaths.
Ivy entered the house, smiling slightly with confidence. "Harl? Sharon? I'm home! Look Harl, I want to talk to you" Ivy said aloud, hanging her jacket up and walking towards the living room. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as Ivy entered the living room. She froze almost instantly and her slightly cheery face slowly faded. Ivy saw Harley and Sharon sitting on the sofa. Sitting In between them was The Joker, with a grin on his face and a gun pointed at Harley's head...
