83: Two Years Later...

Well... This is SO weird. Writing this Fanfic again, like seriously! It has been a while for sure.

Hey everyone xD So, I know it's been a while and I am deeply sorry for leaving this FanFiction unfinished and on the side for so long. But I'm back, it's back and I promise to FINALLY finish this story. This Fanfiction has received quite a bit of attention recently thanks to the amazing Harley Quinn series. I do want to point out for anyone who may have missed it but this Fanfiction is based on the characters from the 90s Batman the Animated Series and NOT from the current Harley Quinn series.

This chapter is a little short, sorry about that. I didn't want to drag this chapter on since it's a simple story for this chapter. This chapter was meant to be chapter 86 or 87 but the chapter that was going to be this one (but is now next chapter) doesn't have Ivy in it and it didn't seem right to have this Fanfic return without one of it's main characters xD Anyway, next chapter will be longer and more interesting!

Also, I want to point out that there hasn't been a time skip. The title of this chapter will make sense as you read on : )

Anyway, on with the chapter!

"Come on, wake up you two" Christie said, standing in Harley and Ivy's bedroom. "Mmmm" Harley mumbled, not opening her eyes. Ivy's eyes were also closed. "Get out of bed, it's your two year anniversary today!" Christie stated. "What better way to spend it than in bed with the woman I'm in love with" Ivy smiled with her eyes still shut. Christie rolled her eyes and smiled a little. "I agree, much more cozy and fun" Harley added. "So you're just gonna stay in bed all day and sleep?" Christie asked. "Sounds good to me" Ivy replied sleepily. "Who says we'll just sleep all day" Harley pointed out, looking at Christie and grinning. "Ew gross! She's my sister don't forget" Christie said quickly.

Harley giggled as Ivy opened her eyes and looked at Christie with a smile. "Oh come on sis, don't be so innocent" Ivy told her. "I'm not! I know that, well... You know" Christie stuttered in embarrassment, her face turning red. Harley giggled again. "Look, just get of bed. Both of you okay?" Christie stated, putting her hands on her hips. Both Harley and Ivy groaned. "Well get out then unless you wanna see us naked" Harley told her. "What?" Christie exclaimed. Harley laughed as Christie shook her head and left the bedroom.

Harley and Ivy wandered into the sitting room, yawning as they sat down together. "Right, now that you've risen from your love pit, why don't you both go out? It's your anniversary" Christie pointed out. "We could have dinner and go shopping?" Harley suggested. "Sounds good to me" Ivy agreed. "Maybe a light lunch yeah?" Christie said. "Yeah alright" Ivy replied.

Harley and Ivy got ready and left. They arrived at the local park and sat down on a bench. "If feels nice to relax" Ivy sighed happily. "What do ya mean red?" Harley asked. "You know, it's nice to not have anything crazy going on in our lives. It feels nice to just be... Normal" Ivy replied. "Yeah... Don't ya miss it though? The life we use to have?" Harley said softly. "A little... Back then a big part of me wanted to rid the world of everyone... But... Things changed... I changed... Of course I still want what I wanted all that time ago but... Not the way I wanted to achieve it. I think a big reason behind me changing is people funny enough" Ivy recalled. Harley smiled back. "What about you? Don't you miss the crime life?" Ivy asked, looking at Harley. "A little... But I always felt as though it was missing something. Now... I don't feel like that anymore" Harley smiled. Ivy smiled back and placed her hand in Harley's. "I love you Harls" Ivy said softly. "Love ya too" Harley smiled, resting her head on Ivy's shoulder.

For the next few hours, the pair hung out and talked. They hadn't had a day like this in a very long time. It was perfect. Just the two of them on a very special day. Eventually, the pair headed back home. Ivy opened the door and saw lights and petals spread out. Harley and Ivy stared in amazement. "Hey you two, I uh... I wanted to do something special for you both with it being your anniversary and all" Christie revealed, appearing from the kitchen. "You... Did this for us?" Ivy asked in shock. "Yeah of course... Your my sister Pamela... You and Harley have such an amazing relationship. You both love each other so much and I am so thankful to you Harley for making my sister so happy" Christie replied with a little smile, walking over to the pair. "Awh, you are such a softie! It's cute" Harley smiled. "You shouldn't have but, thank you Christie... Thank you so much" Ivy told her with a smile. "Yeah, thank you" Harley agreed, hugging Christie tightly. Ivy joined in on the hug and they all laughed. "Right, go sit down you two. I've prepared a great dinner" Christie revealed, winking at the pair. Harley and Ivy sat down across from each other, smiling as they admired how amazing the room looked. The table also looked great with a candle in the center of the table.

Christie returned with two plates of food which she placed down in front of Harley and Ivy. "Enjoy" Christie smiled, leaving the pair alone. "Safe to say this anniversary beats the last one" Ivy said with a smile. "Too right" Harley agreed as they both started eating. "How is it?" Christie asked, appearing in the doorway of the kitchen. "Great!" Ivy replied. Christie smiled and went back into the kitchen.

Some time went by and Harley and Ivy had finished their meals. They were now sitting on the sofa, cuddled up to each other. "Today was amazing" Harley sighed softly. "And just you wait till later" Ivy whispered into Harley's ear, making the pair smile. Christie entered the room and smiled at the pair. "Get in here too" Ivy said. Christie hurried over and sat down next to the pair and snuggled up to them. "Thank you for making today extra special sis" Ivy said softly. "No worries, your both welcome" Christie replied. "I love you both" Ivy smiled. "Love you both too" Christie said with a big smile...
