A little love story between Lucario and Braixen

What happened?

Screaming, Asriel bolted up, eyes wild as he failed to recognize his surroundings. "Asriel!" a voice said, two pairs of paws trying to push him back down, but Asriel fought back. "Leirsa!" Asriel screamed, this time with tears in his eyes as he began to cry, sobbing as he closed his eyes. "Asriel..." another voice said, this one calming him down a little as a kiss was planted on his head. When Asriel did calm down enough, he realized that Nightmare and Brittney were above him, looking down at him with worry in their eyes; Brittney's were pink as if she had been crying hysterically despite a relieved smile being on her face. "Asriel!" Brittney screamed, hugging him fiercely, tears threating her again.

"What happened?" Asriel asked, groaning when Brittney hugged him too hard, a sharp pain erupting in his chest. Gasping, Brittney let him go, looking at him with concern; she was not the only one to gasp. Nightmare pulled Brittney back as a shimmering light started to form beside Asriel, one that slowly became clear like the sky after a rain storm. Asriel felt a warm touch on his shoulder and, when he moved his blue t-shirt, he was stunned to see a mark forming, one of a silver shield.

Asriel looked down at his side as the feeling faded, tears threating his eyes when the form, a Pokemon, solidified, scratches and bruises all over his body. "Lesira.... LESIRA!!!!" Asriel screamed and, despite the pain that erupted in his body, lunged to his twin brother, holding him close to his chest, glad for his lack of a chest spike (Sorry Mechanincal12, should have told you sooner). Asriel was stunned to see a silver mark forming on his twins bare shoulder, his being a pair of silver swords crossed into an 'x'. "Lesira... Lesira!" Asriel cried, sobbing openly at holding his brother again after all these years. "Asriel...." the Riolu murmured, opening his eyes slightly with a small smile before passing out, his breathing gentle and normal, relaxed even.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!?" a new voice yelled, making the three awake Pokemon look up to see an Audino there, the nurse running over to them before she started to fuss over them. "Where did the Riolu come from? Is he a student?" the Audino asked as she opened her first aid kit, more advanced medical supplies in hers. "He is not a student here ma'am; he is my twin brother, Lesira," Asriel explained as the Audino, named Joy (Yep, I went there) covered him in a blanket after healing him with Heal Pulse. Asriel had to let his brother go as the Audino began to do the same to him, asking him how did he get hurt; he was stuck.

Thankfully, Nightmare stepped in to save him. "He must have fallen down the stairs ma'am; he must have tripped," Nightmare responded to her questions. Joy did not question him as she worked, making sure that Asriel's ribs were in perfect condition before stepping back. "That is an interesting tattoo; when did your brother get it?" Joy asked as she packed up, making Nightmare bore his sight down on the Riolu with incredulity. "He must have gotten it from a pack; you know, of the temporary tattoo's," Asriel replied, able to save him from that. "Speaking of the Riolu, when did he get here?" Nightmare asked, getting Asriel to blink in relief; he knew what he was going with that. "I guess he got out of school early and came to visit me; he must have run up behind him and tackled me," Asriel replied, sounding as if he were correcting Nightmare's assumption.

"Okay; I will go call your parent's. I am sure they will want to talk to you to make sure you are okay. Please come with me," Joy told them, making Asirel hesitate. If Joy noticed, Brittney, stepped in this time to save him. "Don't worry; I will carry your stuff for you up to the Nurses office," Brittney said, making it look like Asriel was wondering how he was going to carry every thing at once. "Thank you, Brittney," Asriel said, making his sentence have a double meaning. Nodding to Asirel, Brittney went into the classroom to retrieve his things, soon reappearing with both backpacks on.

-time skip, thirty minutes later-

"ASRIEL!!!" Lisa yelled, running to her child who was on one of the clinic beds, hugging him fiercely. "Mom?" Asriel heard a voice ask, it light and unsure. Asriel smiled at her stunned expression, the elder Lucario slowly turning around to look at Lesira, who was dressed in clothes way too big for his small frame (all of the clothes were from the lost and found). "L... Lesira?" Lisa asked, tears in her eyes as she slowly walked over to him, looking like she was about to break down. "Yes, Mom," Lesira smiled, tears in his eyes before Lisa lunged forward, crying her heart out onto his small shoulders. "Lesira.... my little Lesira," Lisa sobbed, holding the Riolu close and with love.

"Mom, there is something I need to tell you when we get home, okay? I can explain everything," Asriel told her, getting her attention. "Yes; that would be great," Lisa responded, holding her small child as all three went to leave, Asriel signing out for himself. The car drive was silent on the way home: Asriel was thinking of how to explain everything, Lisa was concentrating on driving and Lesira was staring out of the window like a puppy on his first car trip (Pun....?).

When Lisa parked, Asriel helped his brother out of the car, holding him like a baby brother while Leirsa looked around with awe. "Welcome home, brother," Asriel whispered, getting Lesria to smile as they walked through the front doors. "I will go make you two something to eat; go to my room," Lisa told them with a smile, moving to the kitchen while Asirel took his brother to their mother's room, letting Lesira take the chair next to his own, sitting down gratefully.

"How are we going to explain all of this?" Lesira asked his brother with slight worry. "I honestly have no clue; we will have to make something up as we go," Asriel replied. Both brothers worked quietly on a story till their mother came back, carrying a tray of peanut-butter/jelly sandwiches and sour cream/onion chips (Don't judge; It is a personal favorite! Yeah, I am talking to all you pizza and ranch Pokemans! Zip!).

Asriel did most of the talking while they ate, giving the best description he could give of what happened, though he left the fight between them out of it for their sake. "So Lesira was inside your mind all this time?" Lisa asked, her tone unbelieving. "Yes ma'am; that is true," Lesira responded, nodding seriously. "I won't question it; this is a gift from Arceus to have my Lesira back. Asriel, take your brother to your room; I will have to clear out the storage room to make it Lesira's," Lisa told the other Lucario. Nodding to her, Asirel let Lerisa finish eating before taking him to his room.

"WOW," was all Lesira could say when he saw his brothers room, looking around the wide space like it was huge. "Here; you get some rest. I will give you a tour later," Asriel told him, picking him up and putting him on his bed. Lesira looked like he was about to protest, but as soon as his head hit the pillow, he passed out, snoring deeply.

Smiling, Asirel left the room, turning off the lights and going to the kitchen; he had some calls to make.
