Asriel sat in the back with Nightmare and Frost, who had joined them when he was called upon. Asriel knew that, despite not being a Light Warrior, he was a great fighter, as the training sessions they had had in the past had shown. “So, we guard Brittney and distract the Shadow Warriors from interfering with the ceremony?” Frost asked in recap as Flae drove slowly up to Orrons house, one that was on top of a hill. “Right. Be ready to fight at a moments notice; I sense magic,” Zoey said, who was shairing a seat with Leirsa, her eyes turning scarlet as she looked a head. “The Shadow Warriors must have set up alarms if one or more of us cross them. My question is, how could they have known?” Leirsa asked, his eyes silver as he examined the wards with Zoey soon getting into a hushed discussion about taking them down.

Asriel was starting to get annoyed when Flae turned to look at Nightmare with horror in her eyes. “Flae; Orron is one of us. It only makes sense for them to have set wards around Orron. They could be using him as bait to draw us all in at one place,” Asriel defended, giving a glare in return as Nightmare gave him a grateful look. “As soon as we get out the car, get ready to fight. Justin is here with his solders,” Brittney all but growled, her aura becoming visible.

Just as she said, Justin and the rest of the Shadow Warriors were waiting for them, a solid line in front of the house. Exiting after Frost, Asriel looked at Justin with pure hatred, his aura flaring to life around him as his anger built. “Brittney; you go to Orron now. We will handle these bastards,” Frost said, cracking his knuckles with a rather excited smile in his face.

Justin laughed, his fur crackling with electricity as he actually let her pass unharmed, surprising Brittney. 'Be on your guard,’ Asriel told her via telepathy, his love nodding in response. ‘kick Shadows ass for me,’ Brittney replied before vanishing in the house. “Now, lets begin the slaughter, shall we?” Justin suggested.

Then the battle was on.

Asriel roared as he charged forward, going straight for the shadow leader with his paws encased by aura, cocked for a punch. With a laugh, Justin dodged with ease before kicking Asriel back, knocking the wind from the lucario. Asriel jumped out the way of a thunderbolt, retaliating with a aura sphere. Asriel smirked as he saw Justin’s eyes widen before…. It stopped. “What?” Asriel asked as Justin smirked, the projectile being launched back to its owner. Asriel was forced to dodge again as it wizzed right by his head. “You seriously weren’t expecting us to learn a few new tricks, weren’t you mutt?” Justin purred. Both Nightmare and Frost froze and looked at Asriel and Lerisa, who were shaking with anger. “Don’t call me a mutt!” Asriel roared, racing forward and delivering a knee to Justin’s stomach before blasting a aura sphere in his back at point blank range.

Justin went flying back, crashing further from Orrons house against a tree. Asriel stomped forward, reaching Justin as he was getting up, spitting out blood. “Mutt mad?” Justin smirked. Asriel growled before kneeing Justin under the chin, a loud ‘crack' being heard as a result. Justin slumped to the ground, unconscious but breathing.

“Comrades! Stop!” a voice said, making Asriel freeze before he turned around. Nightmare had his paw raised, a spear/mace like weapon in his paw, it covered in blood. Asriel slowly looked down to see Lerisa and Zoey in the ground infront of him, looking like they were used for batting practice, cuts and bruises covering both of them. “Shadow! Cut the Braixen off! Now!” Nightmare yelled. Asriel was confused when Shadow nodded, racing off to do what Nightmare said. When Asriel looked into Nightmares eyes, he saw they were not there usual golden color, but scarlet.

“Nightmare! What are you doing?!?” Flae yelled, fire crackling in her paws from shock. “I am securing my leaders life,” Nightmare growled, his voice shifting as he glared at Asriel. “You… you are not Nightmare,” Asriel said, going into a defensive stance as he prepared to fight him. “Ha! Don’t even bother Asriel! Make a choice; kill my leader or save these two from a very quick but painful death,” Nightmare said, moving his weapon to slam into both of the smaller Pokemon's sides.
Asriel looked at the Luxray by his feet before stepping away, growling at the Umbreon he once considered a friend as he rushed to his brothers side.

However, right as he did, the ground rumbled, making Asriel and everyone else standing stumble. Soon, a scream was heard, not one of fear, but one of anger. From the second story room window, Shadow was thrown out the window, Orron on top of him when the collided on the ground. “You dare fuck with my mind? You sonova-!” Orron said before slashing Shadow across the chest with a Shadow Claw, blood quickly welling from the wounds. “Get the fuck off my lawn or I will kick all your collective asses! GO!” Orron yelled, a dark aura around him; Asriel had only seen this happen once before, and it was NOT a pretty sight.

The Espeon, Clarissa, snapped her fingers, taking all the Shadow Warriors with her. The last thing Nightmare did was smirk at Asriel, a message being left. “I will be watching you all with my father,” was all he said.
