Asriel threw in the brake as he raised an aura shield, his mark burning as he was pushed back by Jason's flamethrower, the wheels screeching against the wood floor. A charcoal spiral gleamed on Jason's chest, right above the curve in his shirt, the power of the attack increasing, making Asriel grit his teeth in concentration as he kept on being pushed back more and more, slowly nearing Brittney and Sarah.
"Run!" Asriel shouted, but Brittney just stared at her brother, there mother sliding from her arms. Asriel had to fight back a curse when his shield started to crack, Jason laughing as he pushed forward. "RUN GODDAMNIT!" Asriel yelled again, knowing he couldn't hold it back much longer.
Brittney did, but not in a way Asriel would ever expect; she ran forward, a battle cry sounding from her lips as she leaped into the fire. Asriel felt his world shatter as Brittney screamed; a surge of power shook the house dangerously, the very foundation cracking.
The flamethrower stopped and Asriel dropped his arm, his fur burned and screeching in pain. Looking through his sweat and tears, Asriel gasped at what he saw, Jason let out a gasp of surprise.
Brittney was standing in front of Asriel, her body now encased in what seemed like glowing obsidian, a sword of molten lava in her paws. A firey circle surrounded her on the ground, charred black from the immense heat Brittney was letting off; even Jason was sweating. Brittney took a single step forward, her black boots stomping against the floor. A pillar of lava shot from the ground, burning a hole through the house and ten feet in the air, before, with her sword raised, Brittney gave one last cry as she thrust the blade into the floor. The pillar of lava followed the action, slamming into Jason before he could react.
Asriel gasped in horror, thinking Brittney just killed her brother. When the steam cleared, it turned out Brittney didn't but bound him on an obsidian wall, his paws and feet spread eagle, his staff non-existent. Chanting in words that escaped Asriel, a rippling wave of white light moving to Jason. The Delphox shouted in pain as the Light rippled around him, his body steaming as he was... Healed?
"Jason, when did you join the Shadow Warriors?" Brittney asked, looking at her brother as she sheathed her sword, her eyes flickering with a venomus light. "He came to me in my dreams, promising power and glory, to control the weak willed," Jason growled, glaring at Sarah with distaste. A echoing 'Crack' sounded after Brittney slapped him hard enough to leave a paw print.
"You son of a b*-," Brittney swore, calling him more and more things that made Asriel's jaw drop in shock; she was using words he didn't think she knew or ever would know. Jason was stunned silent, his mouth agape as he looked at his sistrr with what almost looked like fear in his eyes. "Why would you join him? He is against the very existance of all Pokemon!" Brittney yelled. "For power dear sister; yoir so called god has done nothing but sit back and watch as you and your pathetic friends slowly lose the war. Now," he said, his body getting surrounded by a dark aura, "I shall be taking my leave. But before I do; watch the Shadows, my dear," Jason said before his body vanished, leaving Brittney there, her mouth agape before she fell to the ground, her armor vanishing as she started to sob.
As Asriel wheeled to comfort her, one thought entered his mind suddenly.
'how is no one seeing this?'
Little did they know, someone was in the shadows, chuckling lowly before vanishing as well, a scarlet eye the last thing to vanish.
