A little love story between Lucario and Braixen

Heal Trigger!

Asriel walked into his homeroom, surprised to see announcements on the smart board. "That is a first," Asriel said, explaining to Flae that Mr.Green never put up the announcements. "Oh," Flae responded as they took their seats. A slide caught Asriel's eye, one that made him smile.

Attention all students! On March 23, the Student Council will be hosting a Talent Show in the Gym! Sign up in your home room; your teacher will be able to provide information for all the talents that are accepted.

Asriel instantly got up from his seat and made his way over to Mr.Green, who held out the clip board to him. "Going to sing?" the leafeon asked. "Yeah; a duet with Brittney, I think," Asriel replied with a smile. "Shooting Credit!!" Mr. Green yelled; a flock of students rushed up to him to sign for it (mostly female though...). As Asriel went to sit down, a knock came from the door. Since he was already up, Asriel went ahead and opened the door to see a Vaporeon standing there. "Is Asriel Asphodel in this room?" the girl asked, straightening her glasses nervously. "That would be me," Asriel responded. "Oh; here is a pass to the attendance office. Someone dropped something off for you," the Vaporeon told him. "Alright; thank you," Asriel told her. Nodding, the Vaporeon left as Asriel closed the door.

Getting Permission from Mr.Green, Asriel left the classroom to go to Attendance, wondering who left something for him. 'Oh yeah; I left my lunch at home today. It probably was Mom dropping it off,' Asriel thought to himself as he walked through the hallways. He was semi-correct. An entire feast was at the front office, three bags with his name on them, all of them having the Mystic Baking logo on them.

"Take what ever you want," Asriel said as he sweated dropped anime style, seeing the looks the receptionists had on their faces. Removing a note from one of them, Asriel saw it was from Sarah. 'This is for your and Brittneys friends; they are all over stock. Have a good day!' was all the note said. Making a mental note to thank Sarah when he went to work (Yes, he got hired), Asriel returned to his homeroom with some difficulty and was all but attacked when he walked into the classroom. "CLASS! SIT DOWN!" Mr.Green yelled, his Intimidate ability kicking in as the class returned to their seats, looking at Asriel with puppy eyes for something to eat. "Is it okay if I share with the class, Mr.Green?" Asriel asked his teacher. "Sure. CLASS, LINE UP!!" Mr.Green called. Asriel took out two doughnut boxes and let everyone take one, though he let Fale and Nightmare take two each. Closing up the rest, Asriel went ahead and set them down on his desk...

Only for the lunch bell to ring. Sighing, Asriel collected the food and left with the class to go to lunch. Luckily, he was able to get there quickly so he was not bothered too much about giving away his food. "Oh sweet! Is that for us?" Frost asked, having already gotten his food. "It has only been like, twenty seconds; how did you get here that fast?" Asriel asked him as he set the bags down. "Oh, you know; teleportation and all. So, are you going to be in the talent show?"  Frost replied. "Yeah; I was thinking about singing a duet with Brittney. I just need to select a song with her first before I get the lyrics for it," Asriel replied. "I think we should do a song by Christina Perri," Brittney suggested, suddenly appearing before taking a seat; Asriel could agree that all of her songs were awesome. "Then how about this one?" Asriel suggested as he took out his phone and showed it to her with all of the songs he had by the famous glaceon, playing the song he suggested.

"OMA! Yes!" Brittney said, her eyes lighting up with excitement. Before Asriel could respond, Asriel saw the one Pokemon he did not want to see; Justin. The Luxray must have been talking about him because of the Pokemon to his left, a Zoroark, looked directly at him, smiling in an intimidating way. Asriel could feel the evil pulse off of the Zoroark, only sensing darkness.

With a black leather jacket on and gloves, the most vibrant part of the Zoroark was his eyes. A black shirt, black jeans, and shoes followed the jacket, making the Zoroark look like one huge shadow. His Sapphire blue eyes seemed to glow in the cafeteria, almost making him hard to look at. When the Zoroark stood up, Asriel almost fell out of his chair: the fox had to be at least 6'3, if not taller! Looking at his arms, Asriel saw scars all over the limbs, telling him that more than a fair share of the battles it had been in were bloody, if not deadly. With slow movements, the Zoroark took off his left glove, aiming the back of his paw to Asriel, his arm crossed over his chest; Asriel almost had a heart attack. A scythe Mark was on the back of his paw, the blade almost gleaming in the faint light of the cafeteria. 'Death' whispered a voice in Asriel's mind; he did not question it. "You will die in seven day's," the Zoroark mouthed, laughing with Justin when Asriel turned away.

"What is it?" Brittney asked her love, seeing the terror in Asriel's eyes. "The Zoroark sitting next to Justin; he is the second Shadow Warrior!" Asriel replied. When Brittney turned around and saw him, Asriel felt her freeze before a low growl came from her. "I should not be surprised," Brittney said with enough venom to kill a Zangoose. "do you know who he is?" Asriel asked, slightly surprised. "Yeah, I guess you could say that; his name is Shadow, and he was my bully all the way up till the sixth grade. At least till I used Blast Burn on him," Brittney smiled, clearly savoring the memory.

Stealing a glance behind him, Asriel felt cold on the inside when he saw Shadow take a DOminos hat out of his backpack. "Guys, we might have a HUGE problem on our paws. Justin and Shadow deliver; this means, by using their jobs, they can locate Shadow Warriors quickly!" Asriel said as Flae appeared, taking her seat to the left of Frost. "You found another Shadow Warrior? Who?" Flae asked. Asriel explained who it was and his theory as Nightmare too appeared with his lunch; Nightmare had told her everything on their date and Flae was more than willing to aid them. "I have a personal grudge against Justin anyway," Flae had said, her eyes crackling with the flames of anger. "Alright; I will do the same. I work for Pizza Hut," Flae replied when Asriel finished. "Okay, everyone meet up at my house at five; we need to step up our training," Brittney said, getting nods from the group as Orron got there. "What did I miss?" he asked.

-time skip-

Asriel was walking to Chemistry when a piercing scream filled the air. Instinctively, Asriel turned around and ran to the commons over view, gasping at what he saw. Frost was lying on the ground, an ever growing pool of blood surrounding him. "Frost!" Asriel yelled, getting ready to jump down to his friend: Flae beat him to it, landing lightly on her feet.

Looking around for a teacher, Asriel felt his mark start to burn; that was when he saw Shadow. The Zoroark just stood there, grinning up at him with bloody teeth The only thing that kept Asriel from killing the Zoroark was a glow coming from Frost's body. Flae was just above him, her paws glowing a pure white as she pressed them onto his body, ignoring the blood around her like it was not even there. 'What is happening?' Asriel thought, moving to get a better look.

Several gasps came from the crowd, who had been recording the entire event when Frost's wounds started to heal over, black liquid pouring out a few of them, almost turning the blood puddle black as a result. Looking back at Shadow, the Zoroark just scowled before stalking away, clearly pissed.

'THIS MEANS WAR!!' Asriel swore in his mind, glaring at the retreating form, now knowing that the Shadow Warriors would do anything to hurt Asriel and the Light Warriors. When Flae finished, Asriel saw Frost give a ragged breath right as Joy came running, her medical bag in her paws. 'Flae must be a healer then!' Asriel thought as he left, knowing that Frost was in good paws.

'I hope something like this doesn't happen for a while now,'

Alrighty! The next chapter is complete! Wow, this one was a doozy! I had lots of fun writing this one; I managed to not almost cut myself today during class (even though it was on my mind all day) and write it down as well.

To Mechanical12: I hope you like how I introduced Flae's ability! I was a little unsure how to do it at first, but I hope the result is one that you like.

To Pokemonfan472: Shadow is now introduced to the story line; I hope I got him right! I got a mental picture of him while I was writing this, and that is what I saw, no lie. Though, I think I might, just MIGHT, have gone over board with the height issue...

What will happen next? War has been declared by the leader of the Light Warriors, but who will be attacked next? When will the Shadow Warriors strike next? Stay reading to find out!
