Asriel glared at Nightmare as he sat in his Homeroom, sitting as far as he could away from him, Flae doing the same but with a light growl. “Okay class, please help me welcome back a student that had been absent for over a month, Asriel Asphodel!” Mr.Green said, the class clapping weakly in response.

A knock soon came from the door before it soon opened to reveal the principle there with a Quiliva and a Buizel. 'Wow…. Just wow,’ Asriel thought as he slammed his head on the desk he and Flae were sharing: he could already here the ‘aww's' from all the females in the class. He didn’t know why, but every, and that means EVERY female (including Brittney. Asriel was not sure on what to say to that) thinks that Buizel and Quiliva couples are ‘Absolute Duo'. ‘Well, they are both male,’ Asriel thought to himself as the principle talked with Mr.Green. “Class, please welcome Brandon and Josh to our class,” Mr.Green said. Asriel saw the Buizel blush as everyone looked at them at the front of the class.

“Please, do tell us something about yourselves,” Mr.Green said. The buizel blushed a little before speaking. “Well, as you know, my name is Brandon. I like to read and draw. I do hope to make friends with you all,” Brandon said, the last part nervously as he bowed. Instantly, Asriel saw the glimmer of gold on his back just under his shirt, which could only mean one thing. 'Brandon is a Light Warrior!’ Asriel told Flae via telepathy: Flae was visibly shocked as the Buziel took a step back. “I am Josh, as you all know, and I am going to be honest with you all. I am gay (don’t hate, appreciate) and my love is Brandon here,” Josh said, kissing the Buizel on the lips for all to see for a second. All the girls ‘aww'ed' at that, a few guys grumbling. “And if any one of you so much as look at Brandon the wrong way you will feel my wrath!” Josh said, one of his paws encased in fire as he glared at the class. A stark silver was on the Quilivas wrist, a mark in the shape of butterfly wings.
“Okay hot shot, cool down. Sit any where you like,” Mr.Green told the two with a kind smile. “Over here! Sit. Here!” Asriel said, pointing at two chairs beside Flae. He was glad they were the only seats available as both new students did, albeit with weird looks. ‘Where did you get those Marks?’ Asriel asked them with his thoughts. Brandon jumped, startled to the question. “Don’t worry; we have them too,” Flae said turning in her chair and moving her shirt to show her mark, a silver cross.

Both Brandon and Josh looked at each other before telling Asriel what he expected to hear. “He told us that a lucario named Asriel is our leader and we should work with him to defeat the Shadows once and for all. Are you…” Josh began to ask, but Asriel nodded, telling them that he was. “Meet me at 1101 Articuno Street after class,” Asriel told them, glaring at Nightmare, who was smirking.

The bell rang for lunch, releasing them all to lunch. Asriel told Brandon and Josh to join him for lunch. “I will introduce you to a few more Light Warriors,” Asriel told them as they got up. Asriel saw Nightmare smirk as he left the classroom, making the lucario scowl in response, but it quickly changed to a look of concern when he felt sadness come from Flae as she watched him go.

“You still love him, don’t you?” Asriel asked lowly, not seeing Nightmares ear twitch slightly in front of him. “I do. I love him with all my heart… why did he have to be a Shadow Warrior?” Flae asked, crying openly as Asriel wrapped an arm around her, not sure on what to say.

Asriel saw Josh walk past them and place his paw on Nightmares back. The Mark on Josh’s wrist seemed to shine, just for a second before Nightmare walked forward, Josh falling to his knees. “Josh? You okay?” Asriel asked as Brandon rushed forward, helping his boyfriend up to his feet. Josh looked completely exhausted, heavy bags under his eyes, the blue glazed over for some reason. Josh mumbled something, but collapsed before anyone could ask him to repeat himself. “Brandon! Take Josh to the nurses office!” Asriel commanded, a look of concern in Brandon’s eyes as he nodded.
