His words echo through out my head and I look into his eyes. *Ethan likes me?* "EH?!" Ethan looks at me sideways "Come on you're telling me you didn't know that I like you." I look at Ethan "You're joking right. Maybe you're teasing me again...uh." Ethan touches my face "No i'm not joking nor am I teasing you." *He used nor correctly! wait!* I shake my head "Why am I thinking about grammar Ethan just confessed to me." Ethan points to himself "Um i'm standing right here." I look at Ethan and he picks up my hand "What are you doing?" Ethan looks at me "Applying medical aid to you." I look at Ethan "Ethan I..." Ethan applies the bandages and smiles "Don't worry you don't need to answer right away." I look down "I like you too...but i'm afraid of these emotions they make me feel weak and vulnerable." Ethan looks at me and strokes my face "Those emotions can also make you happy." I look at Ethan "I haven't felt genuine happiness in a long time." Ethan leans in close and smiles "I can bring back those emotions. The genuine ones." I look into Ethan's dreamy eyes when an arm separates us I look up "Alexander?" Alex smiles "Hi Luna It's been awhile." Alex grabs me and pulls me close "What do you think you're doing with Luna." Ethan glares at Alex and I look at Alex "How'd you get in?" Alex smiles "spare key don't worry I put it back in it's hiding place." I look at him "Does Jake know you're here?" Alex scoffs "It doesn't matter if he does or doesn't all that matters is that I saved your life from that guy." I laugh "Ok well thank you Alexander." I open the fridge "What would you like to drink?" Alex smiles "Whatever you're drinking." I look at Alex "You know you look so much like your brother when he was your age." I pour Alex apple juice and myself some. He takes a sip "Don't compare me to him. A womanizer ugh. Women are such annoying creatures." Ethan cocks an eyebrow and grabs my glass of apple juice and takes a sip "What about Luna is she annoying?" Alex scoffs "No Luna is different she is a goddess one who doesn't fall for men's tricks." Ethan becomes interested "Do you like Luna?" Alex looks at Ethan calmly and nods his head "Yeah we're going to get married when I turn 18." Ethan spits the apple juice he was drinking and looks at me and smirks "I didn't know you were into the young ones." I scoff "Stop being a perv plus this was a deal made a long time ago." Alex smiles "Would you like to hear it? Stranger." Ethan stares at Alex "Enlighten me."

FLASHBACK

8 year old Luna runs around with Jake "YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!" Jake smiles and runs after Luna when a small boy comes out "Brother!" Jake stops "What?" Alex frowns "You shouldn't chase after a lady it isn't polite." Jake rolls his eyes "Here we go again. Alex for the hundredth time Luna isn't a lady she's a demon-." I karate chop Jake on the head and kneel down next to Alex "Thanks for saving me Alex." Alex blushes "You're welcome." I ruffle Alex's hair and his light blue eyes light up "Luna I have something to tell you." I smile "Hmm what is it?" Alex turns red "I love you!" I become shocked and Jake starts laughing. Alex smiles and pulls out a ring "It's a little big but wear it when it fits. Then I'll marry you!" I look at Alex "We can't get married." Alex becomes sad and Luna becomes frantic "Uh because we have to be 18 years or older! Yeah so when you're 18 and I still haven't found anyone i'll marry you." Alex smiles and hugs Luna and Luna smiles.

PRESENT

Ethan smiles "Sounds like Luna was just pitying you." Alex frowns "Shut up i've known Luna longer then you have!" I smile nervously and Ethan pulls me close "What if I were to make her mine before you turn 18? Then you won't be able to marry her." Alex pulls me away "The only girl I love is Luna. I won't let her be taken by the likes of you! You're just like Jake!" I look at Alex "No he isn't." Alex looks at me "Luna..." I continue speaking "Ethan is nothing like Jake. Ethan can be annoying and rude and sly,but he rejects girls nicely not coldly. He's able to show compassion at times others wouldn't think of. He's friendly,Empathetic,selfless,and is able to understand others emotions." Alex looks at me "I've never heard you speak so highly of someone besides Augustus...What about Jake?" I look at Alex "Jake may be a womanizer but he also does have good qualities. Jake is kinds and helpful at times. He's optimistic,energetic,straightforward and loyal." Alex looks at me "What about me? Do I mean nothing to you?" I walk towards Alex "You're creative,spontaneous,faithful,loving,and protective. I know this because you've shown me the real you and i'm thankful for that." Alex smiles when Jake runs into the kitchen "Alex!" Alex frowns and in a sarcastic demeanor says "What's this my big brother came all the way from almost sleeping with another girl to get me?" Jake frowns "What are you doing here?" Alex smiles "Well mr.handsome tried to make the moves on my girl so I had to stop him." Jake looks at Ethan "I thought you were applying first aid." Ethan smiles "I was both physically and mentally." Jake clenches his fist then releases his grip "We're going home Alex." Alex looks at Jake "But-" Jake stares at Ethan "No buts we're going home. Sorry about that Luna." Jake leaves in a hurry with his brother Alex. I look at Ethan and he steps forwards "You know Luna you've said so many nice things about me now let me say something nice about you." I look at Ethan and lifts my chin up ever so slightly and smiles "You are watchful,intelligent,analytical,modest perfectionist,reliable,and trustworthy,but most of all you're the first and only girl to make my heart race. To constantly be on my mind someone I look forward to seeing everyday." Ethan leans in close when Artemis and Apollo walk win "HEY LULU WE'RE HOME!" Apollo looks at me and Ethan "Wow..." I move away from Ethan "Apollo we didn't do anything!" I run after Apollo and Artemis smiles "Ethan is it...You like my sister huh." Ethan smiles "Yeah she's the cool-" Artemis cuts him off "Yeah yeah why tho? She's a tsundere always calling you names but is so nice to Jake right." Ethan smiles "Actually she's mean to the both of us." Artemis smiles "Well I guess you're stuck in a love triangle." Ethan smiles "Artemis do you know a kid named Alexander?" Artemis face turns red and Ethan nods his head "Thought so...you do know he likes Luna right." Artemis becomes mad and Ethan continues talking "Is this why you act so coldly to your sister because the boy you love loves her?" Artemis looks at Ethan and smiles "You're good too good which makes me think you've been down this path before. The reason you don't get along with Jake because you were in the same situation as me." I grab Apollo's hand "We didn't." Apollo looks at me "I know." I let go of my grasp "Oh. well Alex came over." Apollo smiles "Oh my best friend came over." I cock an eyebrow "You don't sound surprised..." Apollo nods his head "Yeah because when we were at school Alex kept asking about you,so I told him you were probably home with Ethan." I look at Apollo "Why?" Apollo smiles "Did he interrupt a intimate moment." My face turns red "No..." Apollo give me a warm smile "Ha ok I won't pry anymore,but I need you to do a favor for me." I look at Apollo "Ok what is it?" Apollo sighs "So you know how me and Alex are handsome right." I smile "Yeah of course." Apollo smiles "Well we're having girl trouble so can you pick us up from school at 3:00." I nod my head "Yeah but why me can't Artemis protect you two?" Apollo sighs "Because she gets akward around Alex and we need someone like you who can stand their ground." I look at Apollo "So what you're telling me is you two are afraid of being bad guys for once and don't want to reject the girls directly?" Apollo sighs "No it's if you come Alex will smile like crazy making all the girls get it through their heads he's not interested." I smile and ruffle "So you're looking out for your friend. You're such a good kid. Alright Deal i'll pick you guys up tomorrow." Apollo smiles "Oh yeah and don't let Ethan or Jake tag along it'll ruin the plan." I nod my head "Yeah of course." I walk back to the kitchen "Are you going to leave Ethan?" Ethan looks at me "Yeah." I walk with Ethan outside "Uh bye..." Ethan turns around "What no hug?" I smile and Ethan hugs me "you smell good." My face turns red "Why are you smelling me?" Ethan smiles and lets go of our embrace "We'll it's to stop myself from kissing you." I look at Ethan and smile "Bye." Ethan leaves in his limo and I head inside my house. "Wow today was a wild day!" Artemis looks at me "And no one cares!" I glare at her "Meanie." I head upstairs and walk into my room. "Time to watch some anime then cry about how none of these hot characters are real!" I lay on my bed and watch anime until 10:00 with some snack and bathroom breaks in between. I get call from Jake "Hey Jake." Jake smiles "Hey Beautiful." I laugh "First it was ugly now beautiful can't you make up your mind?" Jake laughs "How was it with Ethan? I hope Alex didn't get in your way." I scoff "No he saved me...But I kind of didn't want him too." Jake smiles "Oh well lets hope you two don't get interrupted next time...But maybe its karma for walking in on my fun too." My face turns red "Hey I apologized for that!" The two of us laugh when Apollo walks in my room "You should go to sleep now." I stare at him "Ok mom." I speak into the phone "Apollo says I should go to bed and i'm feeling tired so let's walk to school together tomorrow." Jake smiles "Sure but what about after school." I become nervous "No! Because I have to pick the twins up since I haven't walked home with them in a while." Jake goes quiet "Um ok see you tomorrow." I'm about to fall asleep when I get call "What is it Jake." Ethan speaks into the phone "It's Ethan." I turn red "Oh sup." Ethan laughs and I grow irritated "Did you just call me to laugh at me or..." Ethan smiles "I called you to say goodnight." I smile "Oh thank you and goodnight to you too." I hang up and lay in my bed "Time to sleep."
