Feel this way

I walk into my classroom and the kids look at me. I bow "I'm sorry for disrupting class 3 days ago. I'm not like that usually and I promise to be nicer to you guys because we're going to be together for the rest of the year. I'll take notes and pay attention more! I'll help you guys out if you have trouble in class." A guy stands up "That's enough Liliana. We know what you've been going through and you're actually nicer than you think you are." I look up "Really? Thank you so much! Hunter!" Hunter is shocked "You know my name?" I look up and smile "I may come off as cold but I do know everyone's name." The class smiles at me and so does the teacher "Liliana i'm glad you've come to accept this class." I sit down and take out my note book. I smile "Taking notes makes time pass in class." Hunter looks at me "your notes are very detailed." I look at him "Really? Thank you!" He looks at me "I wasn't complimenting you." I look at him and laugh "Ok." I catch Hunter looking at me a couple of times. The teacher gets up "Ok it's break time!" I get up when a group of girls approach me "Liliana hang out with us." I look at them "I would love to but I promised my friends to hang out with them during my breaks." They smile "Oh it's ok." I leave and Hunter hears the girls "She thinks she's better than us so she doesn't want to hang out with us." Hunter rolls his eyes "She has friends and barely knows us so she's just being loyal to her friends. Stop being babies." The girls frown "SO handsome yet so cold!" I walk into my old classroom. "Hey guys!" Ethan looks at me "Liliana come over here!" I walk over "What's going on?" Ethan points to the window "Grayson is getting confessed to." I look at him "But isn't he dating Michelle?" Ethan smiles "Exactly I wonder what Michelle is going to do?" I look at him "Yeah wait isn't that her?" Michelle goes outside and starts yelling at the girl. I look at Ethan "Uh oh...We better go stop her." Ethan looks at me and I look at him "Let's go!" The two of run outside and Michelle is screaming "How can you even ask him out? He's dating me! Do you think you stand a chance?!" Ethan laughs and I hit him "Stop...Michelle buddy you doing ok?" Grayson smiles "I'm sorry but I'm dating Michelle." Michelle frowns "DON'T BE SORRY! She should've known she be rejected!" I look down "Michelle..." Ethan looks at the girl "I'm sorry but you made Michelle upset by asking out her boyfriend while he's in a relationship with her." I walk towards her "Yeah but you're pretty you can get any guy." The girl smiles "Even Ethan the prince of our high school?" I look at Ethan then the girl "Yup!" Ethan smiles "Yeah but i'm taken by her." Ethan puts his hand on my head and I look at the girl "Don't worry there are many out there." The girl looks at me "Thank you...You really are nice." Hunter looks at me "She really is too nice to a fault." "Hunter you coming?" Hunter turns around "Yeah I guess." I look at Michelle "You should be nicer to others." Michelle scoffs "Yeah well...Wait this is your break and I wasted it by fighting! I'M SO SORRY!" I look at her "It's ok you really should've apologized to other girl i'm sure you made her scared." Michelle smiles "I bet you too." I look at her "I guess." Ethan grabs my hand "Let's walk you back to your classroom and i'll see you at lunch." I look at him "Yup." Ethan smiles and we walk to my classroom "You know it hurts that you'll only say those three words once." I look at Ethan then blush "It's not easy to say those words...I get flustered very easily." Ethan smiles "Yeah..." I look at him "Your birthday is coming up isn't it?" Ethan smiles "So you do remember?" I look at him "Of course and you'll be turning 17?" Ethan smiles "And you're still 16." I look at him "Yeah but not for too long...Anyway what would you like for your birthday?" Ethan smiles "Anything is fine." I sigh "Anything? That's broad..." Ethan smiles "I'm sure anything you come up with will be great." I look at him "Yeah!" Ethan leaves and I walk into my classroom. I sit down and look at Hunter "You're a boy right?" Hunter looks at me "No i'm a girl." I look at him "Oh i'm sorry I just assumed you were a." Hunter is dumbfounded "No i'm a boy I was just being...Just what is your question?" I look at him "Um..What do boys like?" Hunter looks at me "Why don't you just ask Jake and stop pestering me?" I look at him "He doesn't want to speak with me..." Hunter sighs "Well maybe he'd like you." I look at him "Me?" Hunter looks at me "The way Ethan acts around you it shows that just your presence is enough to leave him happy for days." I look at Hunter "Do you really think so?" Hunter turns his head "Don't look at me like that..." I look at him confused "Like what?" Hunter sneers "Like a lost puppy." I look at him "...Puppy?..." Hunter looks away "Just take your notes." I smile "alright." After school is over I put my things in my backpack." I get up "Hunter want to walk out together?" Hunter looks at me "I guess." I smile and walk out in front of the school with Hunter. Ethan waves at me "Liliana!" Ethan looks at me "Hi uh is this the Hunter that tied with you in first place for midterms?" I look at Ethan "Oh yeah the black prince from class A he's my friend."" Hunter scoffs "Who said I was your friend?" I look at Ethan ignoring Hunter's rude comment"Are we gonna walk home together?" Ethan looks down "No our class is planning a trip so I have to stay after school." I look at him "I could stay after school." Ethan ruffles my hair "That's ok." Hunter gets a text message and frowns "Liliana we have to go back inside the school." I look at him "Why?" He sighs "We've been chosen as the planning committee in our class because we're also going on a trip." I look at Ethan "Maybe we will walk home together." Hunter turns around "Come on let's go before we get scolded." I scoff "Why would we be scolded when we didn't even know we were chosen." Hunter nods his head "True." Ethan smiles "Do you think our classes will have a combined field trip?" Hunter scoffs "Why would our smart class pair up with your dumb class?" I hit Hunter "Don't be mean!" Ethan is shocked *Liliana just hit him? I thought she only ever hit me and Jake...* Ethan smiles "Alright bye." I walk with Hunter back to our classroom. "You and Ethan are pretty different." I look at him "Really? Why do you say that?" Hunter scoffs "He seems emotionally expressive doesn't that get annoying?" I laugh "Yeah but in a way it's helped me express my emotions to my friends better...Though I still find people annoying." Hunter nods his head in agreement "Well this school is full of idiots." I smile "Yeah but sometimes idiots make great friends." We reach the classroom and the teacher expresses how sorry she is for putting this on us. I smile "It's ok i'm glad we can be of help for our class." The teacher smiles "Such a kind soul Liliana!" I sit down with Hunter "Where should our trip take place?" Hunter looks at me "Did you mean what you said to the teacher?" I look at him and smile "Yeah! I get this feeling in my chest when i'm doing something that helps others it makes me feel really good." Hunter smiles "I see well you do live up to your name."
