I loved you...But not anymore

 I look at my dad "It's not clean." My mom laughs "Luna you have OCD your room is clean." I "sigh "Come on Ethan." My dad gives Ethan a thumb up and Ethan smiles. Apollo stands up "I'm coming too-." My dad grabs Apollo "No you're going to hang out with me." My mom looks at Artemis "Let's do something together Artemis." Artemis smiles "Ok." I open the door to my room "This is my room." Ethan looks around "Wow it's very neat." I hop on my bed "You can sit on the futon or rolly chair." Ethan sits on my bed and I stare at him "Or...my bed." Ethan looks at me "Aren't you going to ask me how I know you from childhood?" I look at Ethan "If you wanted to tell me you would tell me I won't question you into telling me." Ethan smiles "Well i'll tell you anyway." I look at Ethan "Ok." "The reason I was at a corner store buying strawberry milk when we bumped into each other was because for the past five years I've went everyday hoping to meet a girl." I look at Ethan "That's depressing..." Ethan looks at me "This girl came to the corner all the time with her older brother to buy apple juice. I met her after my mom died. We met at the corner store she found me crying by the drinks at the corner store." Ethan laughs "She comes up to me and says "Move you're blocking the drinks." Her brother grabbed her hand and told her "That's not nice...this boy mom died." When she heard my mom died she opened the fridge anyway...Her brother looked at her and she grabbed some strawberry milk and it shocked him. She then crouched down next to me and said "When you're feeling down and need love...drink this." When she said that all the sadness in me was gone and when she smiled at me my face turned red. Her brother then looked at me "Come up with us and i'll pay for you." I looked at the girl and asked her "What do you drink?" She smiled and looked so happy and said "Mine is apple juice and it's my happiness!" Her brother then paid for our drinks and for only a couple months I played with the girl but those were the happiest moments of my life." Ethan looks at me and smiles "That girl was you Luna." I look at Ethan "You were Ethan? He told me his name was Ethan Fernandez....And he wore glasses. I remember because I told him-" Ethan cuts me off "How can someone with glasses be so handsome?" I look at Ethan and smile "Yeah that's what I said...Wait then is your dad not mr.Roger?" Ethan becomes solemn "No he was my mother brother so he's my uncle." I look at Ethan "Oh so your cousins with Grayson and Rebecca...I would of never figured that out since the three of you get along so well together." Ethan smiles "Yeah Grayson is like my bestfriend and Rebecca is a great little sister." I look at Ethan "But your not happy..." Ethan frowns "That house can be so lonely sometimes my aunt and uncle never interact with Grayson and Rebecca and makes me angry." I put my hand on Ethan's head and ruffle his hair and I smile "I'll be there for you and you can let out all your emotions anytime..." Ethan looks at me "Your smile is beautiful...And I know i've said this before but I don't want you to show others your true smile." Ethan looks into my eyes and leans in close *Is he going to kiss me?* Javier opens the door " Oy you guys ready for el postre?..." I look at my dad and scoot away from Ethan my face red. My dad looks at me "Was this a bad time?" Ethan scratches his head "Kind of." My dad looks at me "Hermosa...Don't do anything I wouldn't do." My dad winks at me and my I'm shocked *old man...* My dad closes the door and I look at Ethan "...Ethan." Ethan looks at me "Yeah?" I blush "Uh do you think we could be good friends?" Ethan smiles at me "I already think we're good friends." I smile "That makes me feel happy." My phone rings and I pick up "Hello." Jake speaks "Luna can I come over?" I look at the clock "It's almost 8.." Jake frowns "Come on lulu." I sigh "Ok you can come over." I look at Ethan "That was Jake he's coming over." Ethan looks at me "Why does he have to come?" I laugh "I never thought you were one to pout?" Ethan looks at me "Luna you don't like Jake do you?" I look at Ethan "Mmm yeah I do but it's more like admiration...I use to love him but I don't feel that way anymore." Jake enters the room "What is Ethan doing here?" I look at Jake "My dad invited him over you can sit on the futon or the rolly chair." Jake sits on my bed "Or my bed...You two are alike." Jake scoffs "Mr.Popular over here and I are way different." I look at Jake "How?" Jake smiles "For one i'm funnier." I look at Jake *He did not just say funnier.* Jake continues "I'm not a virgin,girls love me,.." Ethan looks at Jake "I'm not a virgin." Both Jake and I are dumbfounded "WHAT?!" Ethan looks at us "Why are you so surprised?" I look at Jake then Ethan "I don't know you just didn't seem like someone who would lose their virginity so early..." I look at Jake "Stop comparing yourself to Ethan you guys could be good friends ya know." Jake and Ethan pout and look away and I sigh I get up and they both grab my hands "What is it now?" Ethan looks at me "Stay." Jake nods his head "Yeah what he said." I scowl and let go of their grips "I'm going to get some apple juice." I head downstairs "Luna told me she liked you." Jake looks at Ethan "Are you sure she didn't say admiration." Ethan looks at Jake "She did..." I come upstairs and hand Ethan strawberry milk and Jake a cola "I'm going for a walk feel free to tag along." I put on my shoes and ethan and Jake get up and follow. "Papa we're going for a walk." My dad looks at me "Be back by 10." The three of us walk outside and I smile "The stars are out!" Ethan looks at me *she looks so happy..* "Luna what is your favorite constellation?" I smile "Ursa major." I lay down on the grass and look up at the sky "It's beautiful isn't it?" Ethan and Jake smile "Yeah." Ethan lays down next to me and grabs my hand "If you follow those stars you can see the pisces constellation. My zodiac sign!" I smile "Your the exact opposite of my zodiac sign the maiden virgo." Jake laughs "Yeah but you know my zodiac sign leo and Luna's virgo make a good pair." I laugh "Yeah that's why we're such great friends! But..." I look at Ethan "We're also great friends and I cherish you a lot." Ethan raises an eyebrow "You cherish me?" My face turns red *He's so handsome...* and I look up "Yeah because you aren't as annoying as I thought you were." Ethan is shocked "You thought I was annoying! How?" I pretend to be serious "You're always surrounded by girls,you're nice to everyone,you're a pretty boy.." Ethan stops me "What's wrong with being a pretty boy?" Jake smiles "You'll turn into a fuckboy like me." I look at Ethan and cross my arms "Yep." The three of us laugh and Jake grabs my hand "Hey Luna do you think if I wasn't a fuckboy that we could date?" I look at Ethan then Jake "No because you have Mackenzie...If you ever stop doing what you're doing you have to do it for her." Ethan smiles and Jake frowns "But what if I want to stop for you?" I sit up and look at Jake "...You already told me how you feel." Jake frowns "Luna..." A tear falls down my face "So please...please let's stay friends don't hurt Mackenzie she loves you..." I look at Jake and he looks at Ethan "Can you give us some time alone?" Ethan stands up "Yeah." Ethan walks to the corner store and I look at Jake "Why did you send him off?" Jake looks at me "I'm sorry Luna but I needed to talk to you alone." I look at Jake "What is it?" Jake looks at me "I don't love Mackenzie." I look at Jake "Are you leading her on?" Jake looks at me "Yeah." I become angry "Why?! WHY JAKE? Why did you lead her on? What's wrong with you?!" Jake grabs my hand "Nothing is...Is being in love something wrong?" I look at Jake "What?" Jake looks into my eyes "I'm in love with you Luna." Tears fall down my face "NO!NO! You don't get to say that! I LOVED YOU AND YOU TOLD ME YOU COULDN'T RETURN MY FEELINGS!" Jake looks at me "Luna..." I look at him "DON'T DO THIS TO ME! PLEASE! Don't make me suffer don't be selfish Jake." Jake walks towards me "Luna I love you..." I step back "Well I don't love you anymore." Jake looks at me "It's Ethan isn't it...you love Ethan." I look at Jake silently "Luna how long?...HOW LONG?" I look at Jake "When I met him at the corner store...I..I couldn't believe he was little Ethan the one I missed greatly when I was across the world." Jake looks at me "That isn't love Luna that's..." I look at Jake "And what would you know about love?" Jake walks towards me "I know that I love you." I push Jake away "No you don't...YOU just don't want to be alone...Well guess What Jake maybe that's what you need...To be alone like I was find someone who will love you." Jake looks at me "I know you we can be together!" I look at Jake with pity "You know we can't because it will only bring you pain if i'm in love with another." Jake looks at me "Luna you love me!" I look at Jake "I do but not the way I love Ethan or the way you love me." Jake has tears fall down his face "Why him?" I look at Jake "He is something i can't be and that makes me drawn towards him...He brings happiness towards me he makes me smile so much my face hurts. When he's upset at me I try my hardest to make up for it. When he laughs I can't help but smile and when he ruffles my hair I can't help but want to touch his too..." Jake looks at me "You really do love him...Too bad he doesn't feel the same way." I look at Jake "What?" Jake looks at me "Ethan use to like you when we were kids...He told me after we hung out for awhile he told me how he felt about you,but that was when we were 10 Luna.It's been five years and he's moved on." I look at Jake "Then who is it he loves?" Jake looks at me "She isn't at the school but her name is Marisa and her and Ethan were the perfect pair.She loved Ethan and he loved her." I look at Jake "Then i'll support him!" Jake looks at me "Why?" I look at Jake "Because if he loves her and I truly love him then i'll make sure he's happy because if he's happy i'll be happy." Jake looks at me and becomes angry "When did you become so soft?" I look at Jake "Huh?" Jake looks at me "Luna...Marisa is returning to school tomorrow. Now will you be able to support them in school?" I look at Jake and run away to the corner store "Ethan!" Pops looks at me "He left 15 minutes ago a driver picked him up." I sigh and Pops looks at me "Grab some apple juice from the back it's on the house...You don't look to good." I look at Pops "I'm fine. Thanks for the free drink." I leave and it begins to rain. I drink the apple juice "The flavor is gone..." I walk around aimlessly in the rain until my clothes are completely drenched. I then walk home knowing that the time has past ten o'clock. My mom opens the door "Luna do you know what time it is?" I walk in quietly clothes soaked and in monotone "Yes punish me later but I really don't feel like talking." My dad looks at me "Hermosa...What happened?" I look at my parents "Have you ever loved someone just to find out they're in love with someone else?" My parents are shocked "Nevermind I shouldn't have asked." I walk upstairs and take a shower and change my clothes. I find a picture of Jake and Ethan and me and smile "Ethan Fernandez you've sure grown up and I'm still weak Luna who couldn't even save her brother from death huh." My parents look at Each other "Javier did you see her eyes they were the same type of eyes that saw Augustus die." Javier looks at Melissa "She has Ethan." Melissa frowns "I think Ethan is the problem." Javier looks at Melissa "I thought it was Jake..."
