Falling Slowly

You remember me?

 Jenny approaches Ethan "Mr.Robinson is waiting for you." Ethan looks at Jenny "Oh thanks." The two walk back to the classroom and Mr.Robinson leads our class to the bus. "Hey Ethan let's sit next to each other!" "No sit with me!" Jenny grabs Ethan's arm "Sit with me." Ethan smiles "Sorry guys, but I'll be sitting next to Luna." Jenny frowns "Oh I understand." I fix my snap back and talk to Michelle and Jasmine. Jasmine smiles "Luna stick up for yourself don't let Jenny intimidate you." I put my fist up "Yes I won't be intimidated." Jenny walks towards me "Luna how do you feel about people who lie about themselves to make others like them?" I look at Jenny "I hate people who lie about themselves! Because they could end up hurting someone they care about and it's selfish and childish!" Ethan hears what I say and walks away from me. I continue talking "But sometimes the person is afraid of being judged by someone they like so they lie. That won't define who they are because if they tell truth it shows that you mean a lot to them...Ah why did you ask me that?" Jenny looks to see Ethan is feeling down "No reason." Michelle frowns "She's up to something..Anyway didn't Ethan ask you sit with him?" I smile "Yeah!" Jasmine frowns "UH oh." Jenny locks arms with Ethan and I frown. "I guess he forgot..." Our class boards the bus and I sit next to Jake. Jake looks at me "What's wrong?" I look out the window "I think Ethan is mad at me..." Jake looks to see Ethan smiling and laughing with the people around him "Mr.popular broke your heart?" I frown "I'm not in the mood to fight...I'm going to sleep." Jake frowns *Jenny must have done something Ethan wouldn't hurt Luna on purpose...Would he?" I sleep the whole ride. When we reach the destination Jake stares at me "So cute." Grayson and Kaleb walk over. "Wow Luna looks so peaceful when she's sleeping." I begin talking in my sleep "What did I do wrong? I'm sorry Ethan." All three guys become confused Grayson scratches his head "Did she just say Ethan?" Kaleb looks at them "What happened between them?" Jake looks at me "Now that you mention it Ethan said he was going sit with Luna but sat next to Jenny instead." Jasmine and Michelle get up "We'll deal with Jenny you guys with Ethan." Michelle wakes me up "Luna we're here." I get off the bus with my friends. "Where's Ethan?" They all look at me and Michelle smiles nervously "Uh.." Jake face is uninterested "Oh he's with Jenny." I become solemn "Oh." I fake a smile "Well let's enjoy this trip!" Jasmine becomes sad "Luna..." I smile "Guys stop feeling bad for me." I walk ahead and Mr.Robinson smiles "Alright guys we're in xxxxx so you can shop around in groups of 2 to 7." I look to see Ethan being asked by multiple kids to be in their groups same thing with Grayson and Jake. I swallow hard and run towards Ethan "Ethan!" Ethan and the people turn around and look at me "Luna?" My friends look at me and Jasmine is shock "Luna.." I look down "Can I talk to you for a sec!" Ethan looks at me "Alright..." I look around "Ummm in private." My face turns red and so does Ethan's "Ok." We walk away from the class and I look at my feet. "I'm sorry...I'm not sure what I did but if I hurt you anyway i'm really sorry!" Ethan is shocked "No it's ok Luna..." I become mad "No it's not ok!" Ethan is shocked and I continue talking "When I was talking about liars I don't think you heard everything I said!" Ethan looks at me and I calm down "I said I hate people who lie about themselves! Because they could end up hurting someone they care about and it's selfish and childish!" Ethan looks at me "I already hear that..." I continue talking "But sometimes the person is afraid of being judged by someone they like so they lie. That won't define who they are because if they tell truth it shows that you mean a lot to them." Ethan hugs me "I should be the one apologizing for acting like a child..." Jenny sees Ethan hugs me and becomes angry. Jasmine and Michelle stand in front of her "Tricking people spreading rumors...Hmm I don't think Ethan would like a girl like that. What you think Michelle?" Michelle smiles "Ethan doesn't like hurting others or having someone do that to his friends...So i think you should apologize." Ethan walks over "Jenny I'm sorry but I can't return your feelings." Jenny looks at Ethan "But I never confessed..." Ethan smiles "You did in middle school but I never gave you an answer...I'm sorry if it seemed I led you on this whole time." Jenny smiles "No i'm sorry...I'm happy that you still remember." After Jenny's problem was solved we had a great time during the field trip. I hung out with Ethan and Jenny became nicer and I made another friend along with Mckenzie. When the field trip is over I was able to ride back with Ethan and I was extremely happy. I fall asleep and Ethan looks at me and smiles "Cute."
