I open my eyes "Mama? Papa?" My parents smile "Oh Liliana you're ok you're ok!" I look at my parents "Where am I?" I see my mom in her doctor's coat and my eyes widen "OH NO I'M IN THE HOSPITAL!" My mom grabs my hand "Liliana calm down." I look at my parents "You know I don't like hospitals!" My dad laughs "What's so funny papa?" My dad looks at me "You've fallen down a flight of stairs but still have so much energy hermosa." I smile then look at Artemis and Apollo "Why are you two crying?" Artemis runs and hugs me tight "Stupid Lili we thought you were going to die!" Apollo hugs me too "Yeah you can be such an idiot sometimes." I smile "Hey I just got out of surgery and i'm already being ridiculed by my siblings?" They laugh and I look at my mom "When can I get out of here...Hospitals give me the creeps." My mom stares at me "You'll be staying here for a week!" All life leaves my body and Apollo shakes me "Liliana snap out of it!" I stare at my mom "A WEEK?" My mom smiles "Doctors orders." "But your my doctor so let me leave!" My mom looks at my dad "Javier..." My dad looks at me "Uh let's leave Liliana alone your friends are here to see you." I smile and the squad walks through the door. Jake runs and hugs me "Luna I thought you were done for!" I laugh "Hey Jake." Jasmine hugs me and smiles "I'm glad your ok Luna." Jenny and Michelle tear up and hug me "Idiot falling down the stairs." I smile and Kaleb and Grayson also hug me "We're glad you're ok Luna." I smile and Mackenzie hugs me too "I'm also glad your ok you had everyone worried." I smile "Thank you guys." Ethan walks in and looks at me "You're so dumb Liliana...How can you be so careless?" I look at Ethan and then everyone around me "Umm excuse me but who are you?" Everyone goes dead silent and Ethan looks at me "It's me Ethan your friend." I shake my head "Jake do you know him because I don't." Everyone looks at me "Luna you don't remember Ethan?" I shake my head "No i'm sorry you're really handsome though if it makes you feel better." Ethan walks towards me "Liliana it's me Ethan." I look into Ethan's green eyes and he stares into my hazel eyes "Sorry I don't remember you." Everyone looks at Ethan and I smile "PSYCH! HA I got you guys good right! Of course I remember you Ethan how could I forget you." Michelle and Jenny clench their fists "Luna!" I laugh nervously "Come on guys you can't hurt the injured!" Ethan hugs me tight. "Ethan?" Ethan sighs "Do you know how hard my heart dropped when I thought you didn't remember me?" I become guilty "Maybe I took the joke too far." Everyone looks at me "You think?" I laugh and Ethan looks at me "Um Luna do you know who pushed you down the stairs?" I become nervous "I'm sorry guys..." I put my hand to my head "I don't remember haha..." Kaleb looks at Luna "Luna we know Marisa did it." I look at Ethan then down "She didn't mean it. It was an accident she even called help for me." Ethan stares at me angrily "Why are you still defending her after she put in the hospital?!" I stare at him "BECAUSE YOU LOVE HER!" Everyone grows quiet and I look at Ethan "I figured it out why you thought it was so funny when I was saying the person must be dumb. It's Marisa. You love Marisa and if you love her and she gets in trouble and sent away I don't want to cause you heartbreak." Ethan looks at me "The only one causing me heart break is you Liliana." I look at Ethan "The only reason why you hang out with me is because i'm broken. And you think it's your job to fix me but it's not ok! I don't need anyone I don't need you to fix me I want to stay broken this is my punishment!" Ethan stands up "Why don't you get it? Why can't my feelings reach you? Why do you think you can't be loved?" I look at Ethan "I'm a horrible person who deserves nothing but pain..." I look at my friends then back at Ethan "You should know that Ethan." Ethan looks at me "I don't think it's my job to fix you. You're perfect the way you are and yet why am I the only one who can see that?...I need some air." Ethan leaves and everyone looks at me I hide under the covers "Don't stare at me..." Jasmine bumps me on the head "Idiot." I come out of the blanket "What?" Grayson looks at me "You seriously don't know how Ethan feels?" Kaleb is shocked "You don't know who he really likes?" Jenny frowns "And to think I lost to someone like you." I look up "What are you guys talking about?" Jake looks at me "Ethan likes me not Marisa." Everyone looks at Jake and Mackenzie frowns "Stop playing around." Michelle glares at Jake and he stops "Luna Ethan loves you." My eyes grow big "What?" Jake frowns "He's liked you since you met him at the corner store." "Why are you guys telling me this now?" Jenny scoffs "We thought you knew and were just playing hard to get!" I look at everyone "Ethan likes me?..." I stand up "I have to see him!" I run out of the room and the nurse looks at me "Liliana you shouldn't be out of bed yet!" I smile "I'm not normal that surgery gave me energy!" I run and walk to the lady at the front desk "Have you seen a tall guy with green eyes and nice hair?" The lady smiles "Uh yes he just left." I go outside "The sky is getting dark..." I look around "Ethan where are you?" I walk around aimlessly when it turns dark. I get a call from my mom "Liliana WHERE ARE YOU! Why did you leave you aren't discharged yet?" I look at the stars in the sky "I have to talk to Ethan he needs to hear my feelings...I need to apologize to him." My mom sighs "Ok but you have to come back to the hospital." I hang up the phone and walk to the corner store "I didn't bring money...Maybe pops will give me some apple juice on the house." I cross the street and walk in the store to see Ethan standing before me "Ethan!" Ethan looks at me "Luna...." He buys an apple juice for me and we sit on the bench outside the corner store. I look at Ethan "Ethan i'm sorry for being so dumb and stupid! All this time you've cherished me thought about me and helped me and all I did was make you feel bad about yourself. I thought I was punishing myself but I was hurting you too! I'm really sorry! You're handsome and nice and smart and funny and can be annoying too. You even smell like cucumbers and the way your hair curls at the nape is so cute...What i'm trying to say..." Ethan leans in and kisses me. This kiss was different from the other kiss. This kiss tasted like strawberries a kiss with feelings behind it. Ethan looks at me "Liliana I love you and only you."
