chapter 4 👨‍❤️‍👨

Justin's pov:

I open my eyes and sit up. I get out of bed and head downstairs.

"Bye Justin I have to get to work quick. Love you"

"Ok love you too."

And she's gone. I sigh and sit down. I see Ashley talk through the door.

"Hey let's do your tests and then you can text your boyfriend."

"Huh?"

"You think I've not been seeing you look out your window every five seconds and always smile at your phone"

"You spy on me? *laughs*"

"Kind of *laughs*"

She starts checking me.

"He's not my boyfriend by the way."

"Then what is he?

"My friend. He's just really cute"

"I knew it *laughs*"

She finishes and I frown.

"I mean it's not like I can ever see him anyway"

She looks down and I get up and go upstairs. I look at my phone.

Raegan🙊👑: Go to the window.

I don't text back and just go to the window. I see him sitting on his window ledge again. I wave a little and he smiles and does the same. He points as his phone. I get my phone and go back to the window. He's looking down at his phone.

Raegan🙊👑: Your eyes are beautiful.

I smile and text back.

Me: Thank you. I like your hair, like how long it is 😂

Raegan🙊👑: Thanks.

I look up and hum frowning. I tilt my head for him to know I'm confused.

Raegan🙊👑: I really want to meet you and hang out.

Me: Me too Raegan. I'm sorry.

I look up and he shrugs. He goes shuts his window and waves. I just stare at him and he goes out of sight. I do downstairs and see Ashley cleaning the dishes. I sit at the table.

"Ash I really like Raegan. Why can't I see him?"

"I'm sorry Justin I can't let him in. Your mom would never allow it."

"She doesn't have to know"

".....no justin I can't."

"Wouldn't you want this if you were outside for 18 years?"

"No"

"Come on Ash"

"I'm sorry"

I get up and go upstairs. I sit on the window seat and read a book, glancing into Rae's room everyone once and a while. I didn't see him at all. A tear fell from my eye as a read my book for most of the day.

Maybe like 3 hours later, Ashley comes up to my room.

"Hey"

I said she she comes closer.

"Ok listen. You stay on your side of the room, he stays on his"

"What?"

"He's here"

"....who's here?"

"*smiles* Raegan."

I froze. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

"Why?"

"Because I'm terrible at saying no"

"Wha- I- *nervous laugh*"

"Are you going to wear that?"

I get up and change quick into something cute. She takes my hand and leads me to the sunroom.

"Have fun"

I nod and stand in the doorway. I saw him. Looking at the pictures on my desk on the opposite side of the room. He turns to see me and waves.

"Hey do you want to come in?"

He says.

"O-oh yea I can do that*laughs*"

I go and sit down in a chair still far away from him. He's watching my every move. I couldn't stay still. It was silent.

"Your a lot different than I thought you were going to be."

I said and he smirks.

"I know.....sexier right?"

"*laughs* N-no.*

*You seem nervous"

"I am nervous"

"Alright well me too"

It grew silent again and I stood up.

"So how long have you been sick?"

"My whole life"

"Have you ever left this house?"

"Umm...no"

"......i like this room"

"Yea my mom built it so I can feel like I'm outside."

"Does it work?"

"Most says yea."

I move to look out the windows he stays where he is.

"Where would you go if you could?"

He says and I look at him.

"The ocean."

"Why?"

"Well it's just so beautiful. It's approximately 3 miles from here."

"Oh...cool."

"Yea. I wish I could see it some day"

"You never know"

"Yea I guess"

He goes to my desk and puts a picture on it.

"What's that?"

"I drew you a picture, of the outside."

I got a little closer and looked at it. It has trees, the sun, grass, flowers, And more.

"Thank you so much Raegan."

"No problem"

He smiles and so do I. Ashley walks in.

"Your mother is going to he home soon he needs to leave."

"O-okay. Bye Raegan"

"Bye Justin"

He walks with Ashley and stops at the doorway and turns around.

"Your even cuter in person"

I blush and look down.

"You too"

I hear him laugh and then he's gone.
