Forgiving them isn't the hard part, trusting them again is.

Adrianna

A week has passed since I first received Isaiah's text message. A week since I last replied, so a week since I've talked to him.

After I told him that I wouldn't be able to meet with him, he stopped texting me so I didn't push it any further. Something didn't feel right when we texted, he wasn't talking the way he usually did and that gave me a weird vibe.

My Dad doesn't want us to be homeschooled because even with everything going on, he wants us to still have that high school experience. So we're back at a private school.

Not the same private school I begged to leave from, of course, this one is much better, and much bigger. Plus they don't make us wear ugly uniforms so I liked that.

MJ was still able to join the football team, me and Layla still do dance... only downside is that Carmen isn't here. We still talk almost every day though, it's just not the same.

"Guess what I got," Ava whispered in my ear while we sat on the couch in the living room.

"What is it?"

"Daddy phone. I wanna play a game, here help me," she demanded shoving his phone in my lap. I grabbed it hesitantly and looked on the screen to see it was already unlocked.

"Why do you have his phone? Where is he?"

"He in the room wit' Mommy, they were talkin. Can you help pwease?" she repeated holding the phone to me.

I was about to exit out and find her a game, but stopped when I saw he had multiple text from Sasha. What could she want?

"Ava you can play a game on my phone, I'm giving Daddy his phone back," I told her as I unlocked my phone and gave it to her. I left her on the couch as I stood up and went in the hallway.

Sasha- She's just a kid, she doesn't know any better. I had no idea what was going on Blaze Im sorry, but I need your help

Sasha- Call me when you can

Sasha- Erika hasn't been home in DAYS, I have no idea where she is

Erika is no longer any of his concern, I thought as I knocked on my parents door. I made sure to clear his apps out before I locked his phone back.

"Come in!" I heard my Mom yell. When I walked in she was standing in the door to their bathroom brushing her curly wet hair in nothing but my Dads large t shirt. I looked over at the bed and saw him laying on his back with no shirt on, and the covers stopping at his waist line covering him up.

I'm pretty sure he's not wearing any clothes under there and I have a good idea on what they've been doing, but I'm going to choose not to think about it. Gross.

When he saw me he strained to sit up a little and to pull the covers up further over his waistline.

"What is it?" he asked looking at me. I held his phone up in the air and swirled it around.

"Ava had your phone," I told him passing it to him. He easily caught it and looked at it.

"Oh," he mumbled and unlocked it, most likely reading the text from Sasha. I'm pretty sure he was because he has a frown on his face.

"Everything okay?" my Mom asked him and I decided to leave to let them talk about it in private.

As I was walking out of their room I bumped into a hard chest and looked up to see my Papa. I was about to smile and speak to him until I saw the look on his face.
