A million and one thoughts were rushing through my head, just to focus on one thought felt impossible, instead my instinct took over and soon I was rushing downstairs towards the kitchen. I turned on the tap and using my water abilities I started collecting as much water as could.

A bubble of water the size of a cantaloupe formed in my hands and I hoped it was enough to do what I needed it to do, I left the kitchen not caring the water was still running and I rushed back upstairs. I dropped down on my knees and skidded towards Lucas giving myself carpet burn ignoring the pain and focusing on what I had to do.

Lucas's face had already started to swell to unrecognisable blob of bruises and blood.

"Sarah what are--" Heidi started to question but I shot her a look to be quite and she was. I cancelled out the noise of Carol sobbing and my father trying to console her and focused on what I had to do. I placed my hands and the water over Lucas creating a mask of water over his face, with deep breathes I surged the water throughout the affected areas within Lucas. I closed my eyes and I could see the water seeping through every miniscule fibre of Lucas's face, I felt I was breathing in every cut, every bruise, every damaged part of him and then breathing it out and I kept doing this until I felt a click and watched as Lucas nose went back into place.

Lucas gasped and I stepped back so Heidi could envelope him. I felt tired but I knew I couldn't stop, I stood up and walked back into Johns room and grabbed the protein bottle that had started this whole mess.

"Sarah how did you—I mean are you ok?" Dad stuttered out, I nodded. To be completely honest I felt totally exhausted, healing my broken arm felt like nothing compared to just now. I grasped the protein bottle in my hands and took in a large inhale smelling its contents at the very same time Izadora and I came to the same conclusion—Blood.

Suddenly my throat felt swollen, I could barely swallow my saliva let alone breathe I gripped the bottle tightly trying to control my shaking hands but it wouldn't work, my body was going into shock I could feel it. I tried to come up with why this bottle would smell like blood other than the very obvious reason; had John cut his lip on here and there was a left over smell? Is there a new study shown that drinking small amounts of blood can help muscle development? My mind was pulling at any possible reason other than what I knew what this was, but there was too much blood in the bottle to think of a reasonable excuse as to why it would smell so heavy of blood.

John was drinking blood because he was a vampire or rather yet he was half vampire, half werewolf...a hybrid.

It couldn't be, my mind shot back to the night I fought Jennifer in the Chinese restaurant "The boss will be mad that I didn't follow the strict rules" and she wasn't talking about her Alpha, is it possible that there was more than one monster out there? One monster out there creating more and more just like themselves? And if so, had this monster gotten to John?

I looked back over to Lucas who was now trying to calm Heidi down, her grief had subsided and she looked like she was about to kill someone.

"Lucas let me go!" she growled "So you can go kill my brother? Yeah I don't think so" He said sternly. Suddenly Heidi had stopped struggling and I saw Lucas's hands loosen around her body.

"Sarah?" Heidi asked quietly. I looked up at them and my eyes started to swell. "He's not right is he?" Lucas asked but he already knew the answer.

"This is his protein bottle, this is what started the whole fight, it smelt weird and I asked what was in it and that's when he got defensive and-" My voice caught in my throat and I struggled to tell them rest. "It has blood in it" Lucas stated and I nodded. "It has a lot of blood in it."

"Where's my dad and Carol?" I asked as I looked around the room.

"They went out looking for John" Heidi said. Fear shot through my heart, John was unstable and wasn't himself who knows what would happen if they found him.

"We have to get them back here, it's not safe out there right now" I reached in my pocket to call Jason, to let him know what was happening and to hopefully get a good idea of what the hell we were supposed to do now. I saw I already had a message from him asking me if I was ok, I had a feeling he might of felt my emotions going all over the place and I smiled a little, he was trying to practise self-restraint and I know this must of have drove him mad not being able to rush over here to see if I was alright.

Before I could press the call button I received another message, this time it wasn't from Jason but from John, it read;

"Don't react from this message, don't let anyone know I've messaged you" My heart began to race again but I tried my best to keep it cool.

"I'm sorry for what happened I didn't mean to act that way, I'm sick and I need your help....ONLY your help. There's an abandoned cottage in the middle of the forest near our house if you walk north into the forest you will find it in no time, will you meet me there?"

I knew the cottage he was talking about and I knew how to get there I just didn't know if I should follow his orders.

"Is that Jason messaging you?" Lucas asked. Time felt like it stood still as I tried to make my decision of what to do, do I trust John after everything I just witnessed or do I rat him out and get the pack to together to go get him, I felt like I was stuck between a rock and hard place. I looked up at both Heidi and Lucas and responded.

"Yeah it's Jason"
