She watched silently, in fear as both brothers glared at each other with Zayan's collars in Za'ir's hands.

"You are just a filthy piece of shit that crawled its way in to my life. Get l-"

"If your mother wasn't such useless whø-" The punch cut off the sentence of Za'ir. Johum was too shocked to scream. She never thought the polite and modest professor would use such crude words because she knew what he was gonna say. No matter how horrible Zayan was, cursing his own mother was not an option and Za'ir went for that so the punch was well deserved.

She didn't know what caused bad blood between two brothers in the past or why Za'ir hated his own mother so much but when the situation got out of hand and Zayan literally beat the other man to plump, she couldn't help the scream that left her mouth.

Johum stared at the closed doors of the store, Zayan's guards and then back at Zayan who was straddling Za'ir while throwing punches on his face. He seemed beyond angry, he was growling like an animal and Za'ir's face had gone bloody red.

"Please stop him!!" She screamed at the other two men who were watching the scene as if it was a daily occuring.  One of them even had a satisfied glint in his eyes as he saw Za'ir. "Please!" She rushed towards the man and begged him, "He will kill Za'ir, you know that's not an option please stop him!!" She was desperate as she pleaded. Her next step was to go down on her knees and beg but one of the men glared at her and moved towards Zayan who was so angry that he didn't even care if his hands were busted open and he had blood all over them.

The bulky man grabbed his shoulders and dragged him off of the half conscious man's body and wrapped his thick arm around his neck when he struggled.

"Snap out of it." She heard him whisper in his ear and he started breathing heavily, his lips pulled back in a snarl, his blood coated hands curled in to fists and his chest heaving up and down like a beast. Johum was terrified of him.

She snapped her gaze towards the half dead man on the floor and swallowed the lump in her throat. His face was blooded, his eyes closed and his lips were parted. She thought he had fainted and she almost cried out but when he coughed a little, she flew towards him and knelt down by his side, not caring that she was getting blood on her jeans.

"Oh God..." she gasped as she placed her fingers on his cheek, "Please be okay." She whispered and moved his face towards her. He looked at her through barely opened eyes and closed his lips. "I am calling nine-one-one." She took out her phone from her pocket with trembling hands but a growl and a harsh grip on her forearm stopped her. She hissed at the tight grip and lifted her eyes to look up at the man.

She didn't even dare saying anything as she looked in the sharp gray eyes of Zayan Helmy. His sharp jaw clenched as he leaned closer,

"Go home." He demanded. When was she the one to listen to demands? She yanked her arm out of his grip and pushed his shoulder.

"Fuck you!" She spat, daring him to stop her. His eyes flashed with red rage as he gripped her jaw, digging his fingers in her cheeks painfully. She cried out and looked at him in hatred.

"Don't ever say that again unless you really mean to do that." He thrust her face away harshly after a small smirk and stood up, "Take him to the hospital." He ordered his men who grabbed Za'ir from his arms and stood him up, surprisingly gently.

Johum found it a smart move to shut up and just follow his men as he went God knows where. People stared at them in horror but the men of Zayan pretended to be worried about the bloodied man, they pretended to care and to present it as an emergency, they pulled of really serious and worried faces.
