Unexpectedly, Johum got tied to a man who became her worst nightmare. In between guns, blood and his hot kisses, will she be able to feel anything for him or will she always hate him like she does?

That was not what Johum or anyone else had expected but three days later, Zayan's family was invited over dinner by Samir.
And Johum had been the force behind it. When Murat was totally ecstatic over the marriage of his sister, Johum was planning in her mind. Even though she barely slept and always thought about the unpredictable future, she knew she had to do this. She had to give her consent for the marriage.
But there was a positive side to it as well. She would get so much out of it. She would get to take her revenge from everyone who betrayed her. And she would have a life where all secrets would be revealed. Zayan was hiding so much. And so was Za'ir. And she wanted to know how all of this involved her.
On Saturday, the day for get together of two families, Johum did not wake up with a pretty mood. She was scared, she was wary and panic was lurking around her, ready to attack her limbs and senses.
And that was not because of her getting engaged to that Lucifer. Okay, perhaps it was. But major part of it was because she had a nightmare. Well, not exactly a nightmare, it was mostly a memory. But it was a memory that she had tried to forget. And forget she could not.
That tragedy had changed her entire life, it made her more mature at a younger age; an age when girls talk about boys, gossip and discover new places. But that time made her heart like a stone, as if it had ceased to beat.
Every person is stone cold for a reason. No one has ugly side for no reason. There is always something that made them that way.
Johum blew out a breath and ran a hand through her hair. It was over. Whatever her young eyes had witnessed was gone now. Whatever she had lost at such young age would never be found again. Her past won't follow her, she knew it. But the shadows will always be there - glaring at her with red eyes surrounded by darkness.
And that's what scared her.
She was tough. She handled everyhing on her own, even though the darkness lurked around her at that time, she still lit up the light. And she came out of it.
The sight of blood was not new to her. But she hated it. It made her skin crawl. The closed spaces were a horror to her and that's why she had claustrophobia.
Johum sighed and then got up to get changed for the day. She had not seen Zayan for two weeks now, but she was not very eager to. But today she had to.
Last week she told her father that she wanted to see the guy, acting oblivious, and Samir had been happy. He guaranteed her about the family, the guy himself and praised him nonstop.
Johum almost rolled her eyes. His family might be very good, his brother might have a tiny bit of good place in his heart but Zayan, God Zayan was the reincarnation of Lucifer, Grim reaper or Thanatos. Whatever you liked calling him.
She wasn't kidding when she said she would make his life hell. She would.
After taking a shower and changing her clothes, she went downstairs for lunch. Because breakfast time was long gone.
