On Monday we went home after a hard practice.I relaxed for a bit playing around video games and eating left over pizza.

At seven in the evening I went to Alice's for dance practice as planned.I opened the door with the key she gave to us  on friendships day.I went inside and saw Phil,Austin and Erina hanging out seeing a movie and I joined them.

"Where is Al?"I asked Phil.

"She is in her room choosing a song,so we could start the practice as soon as everyone arrives."He said

Soon everyone arrived and I went to call Alice for the practices"I heard loud music coming from her room and went near it I knocked once but she didn't open it may be because of the loud music.

So I went she didn't  notice my presence in the room and kept dancing on a up beat music.

Her body was so flexible she did four back flips at the end and a split.I was shocked seeing her doing all this.I knew that she could dance but I didn't knew she could dance this good.

As soon as she did the split the music went off and she noticed me standing at the door."Close your mouth."She said and I immediately complied.

"Wow"I said and she just smiled at me."It was awesome if you dance like that in the opening ceremony of the match we will definitely win the trip."I added.

"I guess so."She said and we went downstairs together.

We're going to practice in lawn as it was big and gave enough space for each of us to dance.

She showed a move to us on counts and told everyone to do the same.Everyone including me were struggling to get it right except for Erina and Emerald.Alice showed it to us slowly and told us what to do to get it right.

She was very patient with us.Finally the practice was over at nine and we ordered some pizza and watched some movie.

Jake,Austin,Emerald and Erina decided to stay for the night and rest of us went to our houses.

Soon a month went by like this and the match was just the day after.That day was the opening ceremony we had performed on the stage and were waiting for results.

I had seen all the performances and the competition was just between us and the cheerleaders as all the rest of the dances were very simple where as our dance included a lot of difficult stunts and formations.

After sometime we were informed that the results will not be declared until the match is over and the match will go on for five days.

That day Al showed us the strategy of our team."See I'll exchange your names and we will scream your new names while passing the ball and it will mislead the other team as they would be knowing our real names."She said.

"That's a great idea."Phil said.

"I know."Al said.

In the next five days we got no rest we reached finals playing match after match day and night the audience at night was crazy.We won the match and it was almost night time we were given the championship cup and soon the results were announced for the dance too.

We had won the dance too and we were given the tickets for the trip and best hotel rooms were booked by them and we would be off to California after a week.

As soon as the results were announced Al smirked at Bethany and Bethany looked like she would explode any moment.

That day the whole gang was invited to a party by Blake but we ignored the topic until dinner.We sat around the table after placing our orders when Jake said"Let's go to the party."

"Yeah,I agree."Austin said.

"Let's go." Erina said.

"It's been a while I got wasted let's go."Chris said.

"And it's been a while I got laid let's go."I said.

"I too."Evan said.

"It's been hell of a week,I'm going home."Emerald said.

"I agree with Emerald."Phil said.

"Guys don't ruin the mood."I said.

"Yes don't ruin the mood you both are coming this is a very lame excuse."Evan said.

"What about you,Al?"I asked her.

"I'm going to work."she said.

"Oh c'mon you earn a fat ass lad of money you don't need to work."I said.

"I want to work."She said.

"Well you're not working today because you're coming with us."I said.

"No I'm not coming."she said.

"Yes you are."I said.

"No I 'm not."She said stubbornly.

"Yes you are."We all said together and she sighed.

"Fine"she said.

Soon our order arrived and we ate chit chatting and discussing about how it'll be fun to see principal's daughter Bethany walking around the school on her hands.

After we finished our dinner we went to the party,the party was at a georgian villa almost as big as mine.

We went inside and soon we were splited up Emerald,Jake and Phil went to a drinking game whereas Austin,Erina and Evan went to kitchen to get some drinks,Al went to the vacant seat near the bar I don't know wear Chris went but I went to the dance floor with a chick from our school.

I danced for a while and then saw Al talking to Blake.Seeing them talking and laughing made an unknown feeling of burning i'nside my chest.So I left the g'irl and went to where Al and Blake were talking.

"Hey Blake."I said.

"Hey Sam,How is the party going?"He asked.

"Pretty well.The house is amazing."I said.

"Thank you."He said.

"Wait this house is your's?"Al asked.

"Yes."He said and smiled."Do you want to go and dance?"he added.

"I don't know how to dance."She said casually to get out of it.

"Everyone here by now knows you know to dance."He said and her eyes widened in realization.

"I just don't feel like dancing"She said.

"C'mon one dance."He said.

"Okay."She said.

They went to the dance floor while I sat there on the bar stool.

I saw him put his hands on her hips and dance.As I watched  them dance with each other I felt the burning feeling return in my chest.
