I went to the balcony which was attached to my room there I saw four chair couches placed around the table.

I leaned on the railing and enjoyed the fresh air and night view of California while waiting for our food.

Suddenly my phone started ringing from the pocket of my jeans,I took out my phone only to see Jo calling me.I don't know what she's doing up so late,it's already midnight there.I shook my head and picked up the call.

"What are you doing up so late,old lady?"I asked in a bored tone.

"Well,hello to you too."She said sarcastically. 

"Why did you call?"I asked.

"Don't be rude!I just called to check up on you.It's been so long since we talked."She said.

"No it's not been too long we just talked a while ago."I said.

"And a while means almost two months?"She asked and I sighed.

"Okay.It's been a little long.How have you and Vic been?"I asked closing my eyes as the cold breeze passed through me.

"I'm fine and speaking of Vic we're just debating about you coming here I said that you'll come here this Christmas with Jake and he said that there's no chance you'll come here.So you're coming right?"She asked,her voice full of hope.

"We've been over this,Jo.I can't come."I said.

"I understand."She said her voice a little down like she was sad,I felt bad."So,how is California?"She asked quickly changing the topic.

"We just reached here like an hour ago.How'd I know?"I said.

"Okay are you going somewhere tonight?"She asked.

"No."I said.

"Come on get out of that hotel room and go to night club with the boys and Erina."She said.

"No I and Sam have already ordered room service."I said.

"And where are the rest?"She asked.

"They went to some night club."I said and she sighed on the other side.

"You are no fun even me and Vic  are more fun than you."She said.

"Hey you're old and no fun don't compare me with you."I said whining.

"Don't call us old."she hissed from the other side.

"You're old."I said.

"You're boring."She said.Just then I heard a faint knock on the door.

"Okay,I got to go food is here and I'm not boring and you're definitely old."I said and hung up before she could say anything else.I smiled thinking about her and Vic I miss them terribly it's been so long since I 've seen them.

Sam came in and instructed the man to keep the food on the table.After keeping our food he left.I settled myself in a seat and Sam sat in front of me.

"So who was that?"He asked.

"Jo."I said smiling.

"Jake's mom?"He asked.

"Yes."I said.

"Isn't it past mid night there in London."He asked.

"Yes it is but the old lady wasn't sleeping as her and her husband were busy on debating whether or not I would go to London this weekend."I said and Sam chuckled.

"I like her."He said.

"You haven't even talked to her."I stated rolling my eyes at him.

"Yes because that day she was scolding you and today she was calling you boring which is by the way right."He said.

"Hey!If I am boring you are a-a-"I stopped for a second to think the word"a jerk,a womanizer and a douche." I said completing my sentence.

He narrowed his eyes at me"I am none of that."He said frowning.

"Sure,whatever makes you sleep at night."I said and he frowned again but said nothing.

"So are you going to London this Christmas?"He asked and I shook my head at him. 

"No I am not going."I said.

"Why?"He asked.

"Let's just say that London is never been a good place for me."I said.

"But don't you want to meet your dad?"He asked and I froze my spoon still in the air.

Sam seemed to notice that so I composed myself and kept my spoon back into my plate."Let's just say he as near as dead to me."I said and Sam noticing my discomfort changed the topic.

"So how are you going to celebrate the Christmas?"He asked.

"Like I celebrate it every year,go to Racer's,then waiting tables at one of the restaurant then going home and reading a book until after midnight then go t sleep."I said.

"Wow you really are boring.What about new year?"He asked.

"Same."I said.

"Why don't you come at my place for dinner on Christmas?"He asked.

"No I don't want to intrude."I said.

"No everyone will be happy to have you there the twins,Jordan,Elissa,Issac,mom,dad and the love of my life Rose."He said and there was a strange kind of twinkle in his eyes when he said Rose.

"Wow you've got a big family there.There would be a blunder in your house and you'd have fun right?"I asked.

"It's not too much now,that Elissa is married to Issac I'm twin's and Jordan's new target."He said sighing.

"New target?"I asked.

"Yes we all used to play pranks on Elissa when she was still with us as she was the oldest but now since she's gone I'm there new target."He said and I laughed.

"That'd have been a fun sight to see."I said but frowned"What about Rose?"I asked and his eyes instantly lit up.

"Well she is my little bundle of joy but Elissa hasn't been visiting as often as she used to visit because of Rose now she Just comes for Sunday dinners."He said frowning.He looked adorable with that frown.Wait adorable?!I just shook my head to get the thoughts out of my head.

"But what does Rose have to do with Elissa's visit."I said.

"Rose is Elissa's months old daughter."He said and then realisation hit me.

Soon our food was over while Sam talked about his family and the pranks they played on him and Elissa while I listened to his interesting stories.Shame I didn't had any story to share.

We stood up and I walked him to the door"It was fun having dinner with you."He smiled.

"See I am not boring I'm fun."I said and he was still smiling.

"I guess Jo was wrong."He said.

"And you too."I said thrusting my index finger in his chest.

"Me too."He said.

"Night."I said.

"Good night,Al."He said placed a kiss on my cheek.

At the contact I felt a shiver run down my spine and felt tingles all over my cheek.Sam smile and turned around to leave.

After he left I couldn't stop thinking about him so I took my pills and tried to go to sleep.I need to figure this all out and only one person can help me in this.Erina.

I'll talk to her tomorrow first thing in the morning.Deciding that I fell into a deep slumber.
