Chapter 13

It had been at least a month since your mother died and your father moved after giving up on trying to find you. Basketball season was also over. You were staying with Bertholdt since you love each other so much. And his mom really likes you so that helps. But at least Halloween was coming up so that eased the pain a bit since you saw everyone so excited.

You already knew ehat costume you were going to where. You were going to dress as a survey corps soldier, cape and everything. And Ymir was throwing a Halloween party that day so it'll be twice as fun. Or not. Who knows at this point.

It was Halloween day and you were walking to school with Bertholdt, of course. Once you arrived you went over to your locker and got your books out.

"Any tests or stuff you'll need help with in the future," Bertholdt asked.

"I've told you, I'm good. You should focus on Basketball and your own studies. You'll have to keep yourself from getting distracted since I'm the new Girls basketball captain," you said and smiled at him.

"You've got me there," Bertholdt said and chuckled, while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Come on lovebirds. (Y/n) has to get to class like any other person," Ymir said and grabbing your arm and then dragging you off.

"Oh, I'll see you later then (y/n)," Bertholdt called as you were dragged away.

"Ymir!" You whined. "I didn't even get a goodbye hug."

"Do you seriously need that hug?" She asked and you nodded. "Well suck it up or I'll have Reiner hug you instead."

You sighed in defeat. "Fine."

You sat down at your desk beside Ymir and began to get deep into thought as class began. It was mostly about cell stuff so you didn't need to learn this for the thousandth time.

Soon as class went on forever it was finally lunch time so you headed straight for the cafeteria. You ran over to your friends table and hugged Bertholdt.

"Uh, what are you doing (y/n)," Bertholdt asked and his face turned a bit flustered.

"I didn't get a hug earlier," you complained and looked up at him.

Bertholdt chuckled and then hugged you back and then you both sat down and began to eat your lunch.

"Why don't you two get married already," Ymir asked.

"Why don't you?" You shot back.

"Fair point," Ymir said and then began to cuddle with Christa.

You giggled and then continued to eat.

"What are you guys dressing up as?" Reiner asked.

"Secret," Annie said.

"I want mine to be a surprise," you said and smiled.

"Mine as well," Bertholdt replied.

"I'm going to be a knight," Reiner declared.

"So am I but I already have a princess," Ymir said and smirked. "Which is what Christa is going to be."

You chuckled as Reiner began to argue with Ymir. Bertholdt smiled as he saw you giggled. He then took your hand in his and squeezed.

You looked over and he kissed you lightly on the forehead which made your face turn pink.

"Cute," Bertholdt said and chuckled.

You pouted and then punched his arm lightly. Soon the bell rang and you all headed to class.
