Chapter 24

You sat in Annie's house getting the plans ready for the wedding. The school year had ended a month ago and you passed the final exams with very good grades. Bertholdt did even better and was out searching for a job as you and Annie planned out the wedding.

"So, we're thinking about using this dress for you and then we'll have maroon dresses for the bridesmaids. The cake will only be three layers. I don't want Connie and Sasha to eat a whole layer for themselves though so we must restrain them. And this will all happen where," Annie asked.

"In the park near the willow tree where Bertholdt and I first admitted our feelings," you said and smiled.

"Alright. So I think that's it. All we have to do is order the tuxes, dresses, catering, and cake. Which I can do over the phone. Now go home and cook dinner for your fiance," Annie said and hugged you.

You hugged her back and then headed out and over to your house. The house was now officially you and Bertholdt's. His mother moved away to be near more family. You walked inside and gazed around.

"Babies! I'm home," you called.

All the sudden Sonny and Bean came running downstairs and mewled wanting food. You giggled and then put some cat food in their dishes. You then walked into the kitchen and began to cook up some pasta.

An hour or so had gone by and you heard Bertholdt enter the house. You smiled and then raced over and hugged in greeting.

"Welcome home!"

"Thanks. How is my queen," Bertholdt asked and kissed the top of your head.

You giggled and then kissed his cheek. "I'm good. How was the interview?"

"I think it went well but only time will tell now," Bertholdt said.

You nodded and smiled. "Dinners ready. Let's eat."

You both then walked off to the kitchen and began to eat peacefully together.

Today was the day. You were getting married. You stood in front of a mirror with your dress on. You sighed feeling nervous. Just then Armin walked in.

"Ready?" He asked.

You nodded and then took his arm. You approached the doors and as they were pushed open to reveal you, you heard the music begin to play. You walked down the aisle and gazed over at Bertholdt. He stood there smiling the smile you always love.

His best man was Reiner and then the others were Jean, Connie, Eren, and Marco. Your maid of honor was Annie and then the other bridesmaids were Mikasa, Sasha, Ymir, and Christa.

You soon reached the end of the aisle and stood on front of Bertholdt. Armin took a seat on the crowd and began to watch.

"Do you Bertholdt Hoover. Take this young woman in sickness and in health and love her until you two may part."

"I do."

"And do you (y/n) (l/m). Take this man to be your husband, to have and to hold for all eternity."

"I do!"

"Then you may kiss the bride."

You got onto your tippy toes and Bertholdt leaned down and you both shared a passionate kiss. The crowd went wild and you blushed from all of the attention.

"You're mine now," Bertholdt whispered and you giggled.

"And you're mine," you replied and then you both kissed again.
