Chapter 23

Months had passed and the end of school was growing near. You were always at home studying for finals, technically Bertholdt's home but you considered it yours as well now. You studied because you wanted to get to a good college at some point but you didn't know what the future held for you.

You were lying in your room and then you heard the door open. You looked up and saw Bertholdt standing there.

"You done studying yet," he asked. "Annie and Armin want to go on a so called double date with us. We're going to the movies."

"Oo! Fun," you said and stood up. "Let's go."

Bertholdt smiled and then grabbed your hand and headed out. You two met Armin and Annie at the movie theater and went inside to see Rouge One.

You all sat down in your seats and began to watch. Throughout the movie you felt waves of emotions come over you and you had to hold onto Bertholdt hand. Once the end of the movie came, where you know *coughs* everyone dies. You were in tears.

Bertholdt saw this and then wrapped his arms around you and you rested your head on his shoulder and sighed. He smiled and then wiped your tears away and kissed your forehead.

The movie soon ended and you all headed out to eat. You and Armin went inside to get your orders. Annie and Bertholdt were talking about something outside.

3rd POV:

"So, you've got it all planned," Annie asked.

"Yes. I've got the time and setting ready," Bertholdt said.

"Good. And you'll make her happy no matter what," Annie asked and raised an eyebrow as she stared at him.

"O-of course. I'll do my best Annie. Don't worry," Bertholdt said a bit nervously.

Annie nodded and then you walked out carrying the food with Armin.

"What're you guys talking about," you asked.

"Nothing important. Just chatting," Annie replied and Bertholdt nodded.

"Alright. Let's go eat," Armin announced and then you all headed off.

Back to Your POV:

After eating with Annie and Armin, you and Bertholdt took off. You didn't really know where you were going.

"Bertholdt. Where are we going," you asked.

"Somewhere nice," he said and smiled.

"Oh. Okay," you said.

Soon you arrived at a large lake. You gazed around and smiled as the sun began to set, sending a lot of beautiful colors into the sky. You sighed with satisfaction and then you turned around and saw Bertholdt on one knee.

"U-uh. Bertholdt?" You said confused.

"(Y/n). We h-have known eachother for a very long time now and I love being by your side and cuddling with you and playing with Sonny and Bean. I want that to happen every day of my life so (y/n). Will you marry me?" Bertholdt said and then held a beautiful emerald ring.

You stood there and tears began to stream down your face. You were so happy. You ran up to him and tackled him in a hug.

"Yes!" You said and buried your face into his chest.

Bertholdt chuckled and then slipped the ring onto your finger. He then lifted up your chin and kissed you passionately. And you, of course, kissed back.

You said yes! Yay! There will be more chapters tomorrow!
