Nah, the title was lying. At first.
While I was looking through the thirty chapter long table of contents, I noticed that Olei-san had developed a sense of humor and named the chapter:
Chapter 1: Magic...IT'S HARD DAMN IT
I ignored and turned to the prologue.
"Just kidding. Ole Kingy here wanted me to be serious for once instead of writing nonsense that everyone knew in those previous books, so I will. I named them as children's books only because they wouldn't have been published any other way. Oh well. Let's get this show in the road~"
Dreading those words, I was mystified and utterly dreading this book while reading how technical and strict it became, making me think that the author suddenly became a sadist. The time of his words in the prologue sounded just like Thérèse when she was fighting happily, so I wouldn't put it past him.
Ever so sadly, I started reading the thing that sounded like it was a scholar's test from China.

-Five Hours Later-
It was already night time when I finished the book, and was only able to keep on reading because I learned a Chantless [Light] spell in:
Chapter Ten: Light
How blunt of a title. Perfect for a boring scholar, right?
Exactly. A boring scholar. Not me.
I shut the thick book with a loud clap, sighing heavily while screaming in my mind since I didn't want to wake Boss. I couldn't help but call her that after all this time, since it was what I had known her by. I'm a traditionalist and someone who didn't accept change easily, what can I say?
I released the spell, quenching the light. I was feeling sleepy again, so I climbed back towards the crib and leaned against it. I could try some floating magic to get back in, but I didn't want to risk the cracking-head-on-ground scenario. If I got tired this easily, then I was bound to also break easily.
I lay on the cold wood floor, finally assessing my new garments after seven hours of being awake. I was wearing the twin version of Boss's clothes, a white onesie with pink and gold flowers decorating the cuffs. There was a name etched onto her collar, I could see since she was sweetly turned to me with closed pink lips. I could tell, she'd be a looker in the future. I wonder if she'd turn out to look how she did in my dream?
I continued to practice with magic, bored. After using [Light] for three hours, only two MPs had been used. It wouldn't hurt to use more and get it even higher. The only way to go was up, after all.
Since I had attributes for all, I guess I could try out the ones tested out in the book.
Instead of [Light], this time I decided to test out [Holy Light], a sort of purifying spell. I suspected I would need it in the extremely near future...
But wait. How do I know that they will try to get rid of Boss while I'm here? What if they do it after I leave? We are only supposed to be here for a few days.
