After the whole break up at the club, Harley and J went their separate ways. After that night, they both weren't the same. J was crazier than ever, going on killing sprees, screwing with other women just to feel pleasure then kill them the next morning, and trapping himself in his little room full of weapons. He almost tried to take his own life but then he would think of Harley and he decided not too.
Harley went back to working at Arkham. It took a lot of work but she managed to prove to the others that she did change. There were some days where she would think of J and want him. But she new he wouldn't come back. He didn't come back for her at the club so why would he come back now?
J couldn't take it anymore. It had been 3 years since they've seen each other and he had to get her back. Harley started to feel the same. She hated the fact of living as her old self but that was the only way to get rid of him and to live her life. She made sure that he wouldn't know that she went back to Arkham because who knew what he would've done.
Previous Day...
It was a normal week day. J went searching for Harley who had changed her name back to Harleen.
Harley finally broke. She did not want to act sane anymore. She needed to feel free again. Her shift was almost over and it was dark. "Ugh I'm tried of being a doctor! Well... I guess I'll just go back to my normal self now, after how long?" She got a match, lit it, and started a fire in Arkham as a distraction to leave. And to let everyone know that she was not Harleen anymore. She went back to Ivy's place to put her good old outfit back on. She loved the sequins on her shorts and her pigtails. She couldn't wait to show everyone that she was back. "Wow! This feels much more like me! But... I feel like somethins missin. It can't be Mistah J. It's been three years! Or can it? Well I can't think about HIM right now. I need too go and have fun! Since I'm so bored..." She skipped out of the house and made her way to the city.
In order to find Harley J had to bring a certain someone back. Griggs. He told Harley that he killed him but he wasn't worth killing. He was worth tormenting. Griggs was free and still working at Belle Reve but J always kept him in check. If he hurt anyone or acted like a dick, he would die. He also knew everything about everyone or criminal. J sent his men to go get Griggs. Luckily he was at the club. His men grabbed him and put him in the same room where J met him the first time. Griggs got sat down in a chair and was waiting for J. J walked in. "Griggs. How've ya been? Why are ya in the club?" Griggs was nervous. "Uh I don't know I guess I just needed some time away. But why am I here? I haven't done anything wrong have I?" He asked shakily. Joker laughed. "Of course not! You've been a very good boy. I just have one little question." Griggs gave him a confused look. "Wha-what do you need?" J looked at him straight in the eye. "Where's Harley?" Griggs shrugged his shoulder. "I don't know man. I haven't seen her" J got frustrated now. "Don't lie to me Griggs. Where is she!!" J slammed his hands onto the table Griggs was sitting at. "Hey man I really don't know! I haven't seen her around! I've seen her but now that I realize it she's been gone for a while! She's been off the grid!Please don't hurt me!" J ran his hands through his hair. "Where do you think she went?" He asked loosing his patience. "Well I have seen a similar looking person at Arkham. But look I would never lie too you man. You'd kill me!" J grinned. "You got that right." Frost came in with news. "Hey boss?" J looked over at him. "What?" What joker didn't know was that they found Harley. "We know where Harley is. We found her in the city" Joker was in shock. She's here! "Harley..." He mumbled. He looked back at Griggs. "Well Griggs, thanks for uh coming here like a good boy should. I gotta go and say hello to an old friend." As J walked out with his men he told Griggs something, "Oh and uh don't think the deal is over. You'll still be punished if ya don't follow my rules. Got it?" Griggs nodded his head. "And you should probably go back home to your family because they are important, who knows what would ever happen to them." Griggs was confused. "Wait what does that mean?" J laughed. "That means that if you come back to this club or any club around here, I'll tell your family what you've been doin. Cheatin and all. What kind of husband are you?" He acted out. J laughed and walked out. Griggs made sure that he would never step foot in any club again.
As Harley was walking through the streets of Gotham she realized how dead it was. "Huh. It's really dull in the city tonight." She kept walking. She ended up at Gotham City park. As she walked, she ran into someone. "Oh... I'm so-" She was shocked. It was him. After all of these years he's here. "Harley?" J asked surprisingly. "M-Mistah J?!" Harley was just as surprised as he was. "H-Hi. It's been a longtime" J said still with a surprised look on his face. "Um... yeah it has" Harley said itching the back of her head. "How've you been Harls?" She rolled her eyes. "I've been better. How about you?" He laughed. "Oh ya know, same old same old" She giggled. "Yeah I kinda figured. I mean I've seen ya on the news" He smiled. "Exactly!" She looked down in an awkward way. "Yeah...". There was an awkward silence but J soon broke it. "So, what have you been up to Harley?" She looked back up at him. "Nothin much. I mean I just left Arkham for good. I was workin there for a while" J was shocked. Who new that she would go back to her old life. "Really? I didn't know you worked there?" She nodded her head. "Yeah well I did. I mean I was pretty secret about it. Not even Ivy new" He opened his mouth with awe. Wow! Not even your best friend?" She shook her head. "Nope. I mean it was hard but I managed to do it." He laughed. "Oh Harley, you naughty girl" She smiled. "Yeah. I just got sick and tired of that place. It just got too annoyin. I was pretty surprised though that ya never new" He was surprised himself. After everything he went through too look for her, she was at the very place where it all began. "What do you plan on doing now?" She had straight face and looked at the floor. "I dunno yet. I'll probably just do what I always do?" He laughed. "And what's that?" She looked at him. "Oh ya know, just living life young and free" He nodded his head and looked in her eyes. "There's no one new in your life?" She looked up at the sky. "Um... not that I know of? Why are ya askin?" He shrugged his shoulders. "No reason" She smirked. "Awww. Is it because ya miss me Mistah J?" He went close to her and put his mouth to her ear. "I don't know Harley girl. Do ya miss me?" She giggled. "Hm... Mistah J ya little flirt I dunno" She looked up at him twisting her bubblegum on her finger. "Don't give me that face Harls" He grinned. She winked at him. "What face Mistah J?" He gave out a little laugh. "You know what I'm talking about." She shrugged her shoulders and raised her eyebrows in confusion. "No I don't. Why don't ya come over here and show me?" He gave her a hungry look. He wanted her so bad. She looked at him with a flirty look. He finally went closer to her and put his hands on her hips. "Come to daddy baby." She giggled. "Oh Puddin!" They went in for a kiss. They new that they couldn't stay apart. They were crazy when they were together but they were insane without each other. The kiss was long and passionate. Like a scene from a movie. The lovers find one another again and the scenery is perfect. In the middle of the night in the park. Once they parted Harley asked him a question,"So... I guess that uh we're back togtha?" He smiled. "What do you think Harls?" She looked up. "I think yes." He kissed her again and she kissed back. Her arms were wrapped around his neck. "Haha you're right babydoll" She put her hands on his cheeks. "Aww Puddin!" She hugged him tight. She missed him so much. And he missed her. They were insane for each other. No matter what happened they would still find a way together again.
