Joker and Harley One Shots

To be Protective, or not to be

(Hey guys! I'm back! It's been a long time since I've written a story right?! Well I've just been pretty busy but I finally have some time to write just a few stories. I hope you guys enjoy this one! It will be having some fluff btw)

    Harley was laying in bed after waking up from a nice nap. Meanwhile, Joker was in his office like always and planning some kind of scheme to get Batman's attention. While Harley was getting up, she had gotten a text message. She looked over at her phone that was on the nightstand and it was a message from Ivy. Harley gasped, "RED!" She loved it when her bestest friend in the whole wide world text her, especially when she was bored.

(Text messages)
Ivy: Hey Harley
Harley: Hiya Red! What's up 😜
Ivy: 🙄😏. I wanted to know if you wanted to go out tonight
Harley: 😵 I would love too! But I'd have to ask Mistah J first😯☹️
Ivy: 🙄 Do you always need his permission? Doesn't he trust you?
Harley: Well... yeah I mean I'm sure he does. Let me ask real quick ok? Hopefully he'll say yes. I'll let ya know. Luv ya Red 😘😜
Ivy: Love you 💚. Let me know as soon as possible
Harley: Ok 😋

    Harley jumped out of bed and went to Mr. J's office. She knocked on the door. "Puddin?" No answer. She knocked again... and again... and again until she knew when he would crack. "What do you want Harley I'm busy!" He said in an irritated tone. "Can I come in?" She asked. He rolled his eyes and put a smile on his face. "Sure pumpkin, come on in" She gladly opened the door and skipped right in and onto his lap. "Harley, I'm doing work. Please get off" She gave a little pouty face. "But I like sitting on ya lap. Please?" How could he resist? "Okay. Now what do you want?" She bit her lip and replied "Well... Ivy text me and she asked if I wanted to go out tonight which I really do! But I new that ya needed to know too so... can I pretty pretty please go?" He took a longtime too reply. Harley was worried. "Where exactly are you going?" J asked. "Uh... I'm actually not sure BUT I can ask!" He slapped her thigh softly. "Hurry up and ask. I don't have all day" She pecked him on the cheek and ran to the bedroom to get her phone. She ran right back to the office. "Wow that was quick. You really want to go don't ya harls?" She smiled. "YES!" Okay so I'll text her right now, in the meantime just do what ya did before" J was already ahead of her.

(Text messages)
Harley: Red I'm back!
Ivy: Okay what did he say?
Harley: He wants to know exactly where we're goin
Ivy: Does he have to know EVERYTHING!
Harley: Please Red. When ya have a boyfriend you'll understand. I mean I'm the same way with him
Ivy: Yeah well I will never have a boyfriend. They're a waste of time
Harley: Oh I know a few guys who'd be interested 😏
Ivy: Oh my god Harley stop. Anyway I wanted to go to a club
Harley: Oh like The Smile and Grin?
Ivy: No Harley not your little green haired boyfriends club. It's a club thats been around for a little while now. Its kind of new still. It's nice I've been there
Harley: I know it's not as nice as J's club tho
Ivy: 🙄 Just tell him that it's at a club
Harley: KK

    "So J she said that she wants to take me to a new club. I'm sure you've been there" J stood up slowly. "Exactly what club?" She shrugged her shoulders. "She didn't say the name. She just said that it's the newest one" J looked up at the ceiling and looked back at Harley. "Harls, I know that club and I don't like it. So my answer is obviously no" Harley put a "are you serious" face on. "Wh-Why?! Come on J please!! Ya know I'm safe with Red! She can literally kill a person with a slice of her fingernail!" J shook his head. "No" Harley went up close to him and gave him puppy eyes. It still didn't work. "How about this. If you allow me to go-" J cut her off. "Which you aren't." She started again. "If ya allow me to go with Red then... I will give ya a big surprise when I come back home. Yeah?" J squinted his eyes. "Where exactly are you going with this Harls?" She bit her lip and put her hands on his chest. "I mean I will give ya anythin ya want" She whispered in his ear, "Anythin at all" He laughed. "Oh Harley you are so cute" Harley smirked. "I'm sure I'm the cutest when I have a nighty on" J was surprised. She wasn't joking around. "Well... how can I say no to that?" Harley jumped. "So I can go!!" J put his finger up. "ONLY if Frost goes with you. If he doesn't then there is no deal" Harley crossed her arms. "Come on J. Don't ya trust me? Ya know I'm safe with Red when I'm with her. She loves me so much... as a friend. Please" He wrapped his arms around her waist and his head in hers. "I just don't want you to get hurt. I need to know that there is no funny business. I trust no one." She looked up at him. "Not even me?" "Well I trust you I guess a little more than others" She smiled. "Well I will be safe ok? Ya can trust me on that. And besides if anyone tried to touch me, I'd kill em! Come on J, I'll be alright" He rolled his eyes. "Ok, you can go BUT be home by at least 12:30" She raised her eyebrows. "Ok fine 1:30 at least and that's it! If you're not home by then I will not be happy" She jumped for joy and wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a passionate kiss. "Thanks J. I love ya" He laughed. "Yeah yeah yeah. Now text her back. I'm surprised she waited this long" She winked at him. "Ok"

Harley: Ok Red, he said yes!
Ivy: Finally! I was about to cancel! You took long enough. Ok I'll pick you up at 8:30. And surprising how he's letting you go
Harley: Well... I may have promised him a little something when I came home
Ivy: Please don't tell me 🤢
Harley: 😂😜 See ya in a bit Red
Ivy: 👌🏻
