Chapter 6 : Too good to help me

Jenna's pov

I took him to all the rooms where we kept some of them to watch, just like his own room. It was Room 78 now and he seemed angry already.

He pushed the door hardly that the glass  broke. He moved forward ignoring what he has done. Then moved to a bed where someone was awake. She was a girl, a very beautiful one. They spoke a different language which I didn't understand. She seemed week enough not to reply back. They haven't been eating for long...

It seemed like they were fighting now. Their talk was...fierce. He threw her on the bed and closed the door with the keys. Although it was broken from upside. It would take time to pass a hand and open it. Especially for someone who is not a human and didn't get used to opening doors. The glass part which was broken, was small.

"Who is she?" I asked with curiousity.

"Non of your concern." He replied angrily...then he smacked me at the wall and with his hands on me he opened his mouth showing his fangs while saying "We've searched alot and I still can't find her."

"I'm sorry...I don't know who is she or how she looks that's why...We still have 3 rooms." I replied with terror.

"Better find her there." He threatened with his eyes widdend.

We walked to the other room. But this building was huge that's why it took time to search it. The company consisted of two buildings. But only this one was making the reseaches on them. They were so important to us that they were exploiting a whole building.

Finally we reached. He entered with the same angry face he has.

"Eve?" he ran towards her and his face totally changed. You could see how cheerful he was. I stood outside the room watching both of them.
Erikyos's pov

I finally saw her! Eve! She was on a machine too. I rushed towards her as fast as I can and broke the machine then held her on my arms. I rested her on my arms.

"Eve! Wake up...Hey it's me Erikyos."

She blinked and looked at me. As soon as she recogized it was me she opened her eyes and hugged me hard.

"Riky...Are you okay?"

"Yes Eve I'm perfect...I'm worried about you!"

"No, I'm okay...just that..."

"What? Just that what?"

"Nothing I just missed you. I tried to contact you alot but I couldn't. Sorry honey. I'm so sorry." She said with tears filling her eyes. She caught my head with both her hand and smiled...with tears.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying" I asked with deep concern.

"Do you know about Dars?"

"No, I didn't find him yet."

I heard someone running at the back, I looked quickly to find Rose telling Jenna to come and run.

"She'll go no where...neither will you." I ordered.

Jenna dismayed but reluctantly nodded and told Rose to stay.

I again looked at Eve and found her still all teary.

"What about Dars? Is he alright?"

"No we all tried to contact him but he starved so much...starved to death. And you know that he is weaker than most of us." She said trying to talk but her voice was shaky and she was very sad.
