Whoever guesses what's going on in this chapter first gets a cookie.
It's super confusing
Also since this story is coming to a close (one more chapter) I thought I'd ask you, should I made a second book that fills in all the unanswered questions in this one? Or should I have bonus chapters? Comment what you think!

'You bastard!' Ricky screamed, taking Vinny's hair in his hands and lifting him until his toes hovered above the ground. 'Bring him back! Give him back you cunt!'
'I-I...'
'Bring him back!' Josh growled, getting on all fours and letting his teeth grow and pores tear open to make way for his thick fur.
'I-I...'
'If you don't give Devin back to us, I will tear you apart from the inside...' Ryan's gaze burnt into Vinny's flesh, leaving a red mark wherever he looked.
'Did you force Chris to free us? You did this! He needs us you idiot!' Ricky snuck a blade out from his belt, digging the point into his throat but not enough to pierce skin. I stared down at Devin's corpse, jaw clenching at the sight of his deathly smile.
'Chris...I-It was...supposed to be you...wasn't it?'
'...I-It was...' Chris sobbed, running his fingers through his dead brothers hair.
'...I-Is there...anything we c-can do?' I asked.
'(Y-Y/n)...d-do you think...y-you'd still love me if I was mortal? I-If I-I lost all my p-powers...i-if I-I gave e-everything up f-for somebody...w-would you still love me?' I remembered that phrase, and I immediately looked over at Chris, noticing his tears turning to steam the moment they left his cheeks.
'...U-Use me, Chris...l-let me help...d-don't...don't do it alone...' I begged, taking Chris' hand and looking him dead in the eye.
'...O-Okay...but...p-promise me...p-promise me y-you'll try and h-hold on...'
'I-I promise...' I sniffled. He leaned forward, lips connecting with mine.
"I have to give you some of my powers...it will hurt...and it may even drive you to insanity...but it's all we can do...I love you..." The message flashed into my mind, as though Chris was speaking to me. "You'll figure it out..." An intense pain immediately struck my whole body, sending me flying back against the wall and my eyes screwing shut. It felt like I was boiling from the inside, my heart exploded in my chest, my brain began melting inside my mind. I could see everything, yet nothing. I gasped, the feeling of a million spirits tearing me apart before my eyes finally opened, revealing nothing but my old bedroom.
Everything was quiet, the moonlight calmly shining through the blinds, crickets happily chirping outside. I felt normal. '(Y/n)...' I sighed calmly, looking over and seeing my husband laying beside me.
'Nigel...' I giggled, noticing his hand trailing up and down my waist. 'When did I fall asleep?'
'It doesn't matter...' He leaned forward, pressing our lips together heatedly.
Something felt wrong.
I lightly moaned when his fingertips ran down my stomach, flicking the waistband of my undies.
No.
No, this isn't right.
I flinched, opening my eyes and was immediately met with a disturbing creature, one with midnight black skin and eyes that screamed bloody murder. I shoved it off of me, spitting out the taste it had left in my mouth. 'Come on, baby! I thought you were filled with lust!' The demon grumbled, crawling towards me. I scrambled out of the bed, still feeling slightly sick from what I had previously done.
'You are not my husband.'
'Baby!'
'No! Chris is the only person that I love!'
Suddenly, the creature vanished, along with the world around me.
I woke up on the street, my stomach screaming at me. I remembered this ally, it was the one I used to sleep in. I stared down at the cold, wet streets, the sun was reflecting off of the large rain puddles that surrounded me. I began to hear people. It sounded like a large group of them, as well. I slowly looked around, realising that on the other side of the ally I was in sat many people, all stuffing their faces with various kinds of foods. I began to feel my mouth water, I hadn't tasted normal food in so long, I had only drank blood. Slowly, I lifted myself up from my spot and shuffled over to the apparent picnic that the people were having, blindly wandering through the traffic that separated the park from the ally. 'Oh, hello!' An old lady greeted me, carrying a large cake over to a small table full of strangely overweight children. 'Are you here for the picnic?' The lady was quite big, a large apron tied around her thick waist, her short grey hair curled and bobbed back so it didn't get in her eyes. The placed the cake down, before the children absolutely destroyed it, forcing their hands into the cake with absolutely no refuser for sanitation. 'Oh slow down, you little gluttons!' She giggled, looking back over at me with a gentle smile. 'Please, sit down and I will bring you something to eat. You're as thin as a twig!'
'I...' I looked down, noticing no difference in my weight. '...I'm okay, ma'am. I'm not hungry.'
'It's not about that, honey! I have all this food and I can't let it go to waste!'
'I'm sorry, but I have to pass. There's other people who need it more than me. I'll survive.'
Suddenly, she vanished, along with the park and everybody in it.
I paced through the isles, trying to decide what I needed. It was pretty late, I had been looking for what I needed for hours. It was getting close to 10:00 pm, and I still hadn't found it. I was already pretty irritable, my kart was so full of items that it was getting hard to push. My footsteps kept echoing throughout the building, somehow overpowering every other noise in the store. I looked down at the tens of rings on my fingers, signing when I realised how tired I was becoming. My fingers looked like they were made out of gold. They were so heavy, I decided it'd be best if I took them off. I raised my hand, pinching the ring on my index finger and attempting to pull it off. It barely budged, and it hurt to get rid of but I had to get the jewellery off. It was wearing me down. The moment I slipped the ring off my finger, the rest of them melted away besides one.
The one that Chris gave me.
I began to look around, realising all the shelves around me were empty. Everything was sitting in my kart, overflowing to the point where I was surprised everything stayed on there. What did I even come here for?
One-by-one, I began putting away each and every item I had grabbed until I had practically restocked the whole store. I smiled, putting my kart away and beginning to head for the exit. Beside the door, however, was a young man. His neck was cluttered with gems, each tooth that I could see in his smiley grin had a ruby stuck to it, his eyes even sparkled like diamonds. 'We're having a special, ma'am. "Fill Your Greed". Everything in the store is free.'
'It's okay, I don't need anything. Thank you.'
Everything was cold. My tent was cold and desolate, everything felt worthless. Nobody understood what it was like being the only human in this morbid circus. I looked down, noticing a sharp razor that was pressed against my wrist. I held it, unsure of what to do. Just one slice could end everything...
'(Y/n),' Devin floated into my tent, his skin transparent and dead, '...this isn't real. None of this is real, (Y/n). You need to fight it.'
'But why bother? It's all pointless...I'm useless...'
'Your love has kept my soul alive...please...' He kneeled in front of me, placing his hand on my wrist as if he could actually touch me. '...nobody should ever take their own life...no matter how dark things may seem...everybody deserves to live...'
'Devin...where am I? What's going on?' I asked, dropping the razor and beginning to feel my knees tremble.
'You're in hell, (Y/n)...you came here to come get me...'
'Your father and I have decided that it's time for you to leave, (Y/n).' My mother spoke calmly, obvious sorrow filling her eyes as I shot up from my seat.
'This is bullshit! You can't kick me out! Where am I supposed to go?' I screamed, slamming my fists down on the small coffee table. I was back at my parents house, the floral wall paper and the smell of cookies replicating my old home exactly. 'I'm only 15 for fucks sake!'
'Your mother and I have had enough of this anger!'
'No, you've had enough of my attitude and my mum is too much of a-' I cut myself off. My heart was racing in my chest, my veins about to explode with rage until I looked at my mother. She had tears in her eyes, staring at me as if she was begging me to forgive her. I never noticed it before. My father was always the one making decisions, he was always the one deciding "what was best for us" while my mother said nothing. I took a deep breath, letting my heart rate slow down before apologising. 'I'm sorry for yelling. I...I'm sorry for being a pain, as well...I'll pack my things.' I hated having to leave my childhood home so early, but it was what I had to do. Arguing wouldn't change anything.
I wish I had reacted better when it really happened.
'Wait, (Y/n)!'
'I cannot care for somebody who willingly gave up their humanity. I had it ripped away from me and you act like that is some sort of privilege...'
'I wanted what you had, Josh...'
I remembered this scenario.
'What're you talking about? You envied me?' He growled.
'I...I wanted to be better than the rest of you...I wanted to be equal to Chris but...that was wrong.' I stood up off the wet grass, remembering the forest that surrounded the circus. Josh stood close to me, rage burning in his eyes. '...I shouldn't have become a vampire. It was wrong of me to throw away something as precious as my humanity. I understand of you want to yell at me or even hurt me. Just know that I'll do my best to earn back your respect.'
'My, my, jealous now, are we?'
I was sitting on the bathroom sink, back in London.
Minny was outside.
Chris was staring right at me, a devious smile spread across his lips. 'No...I just wanted your attention...I love you so much, Chris...You're my everything. All I want is for you to keep loving me but...If I get out of here and you don't love me...that's okay.'
Chris stared straight at me, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. 'I-I used the last of my power to bring Devin back...but I meant that I died...(Y/n), you...you're an Illusionist now...you have the power to bring me back to life...will you, even though I am sinful and imperfect?' He huffed, cupping both my cheeks.
'I will...because you deserve the chance to make things right...'
