200 days//Anthony Trujillo (On hold)

When I wake up I'm no longer in the house. Instead I'm in the back of Jakes truck with my head resting on somebody's lap. I turn my head and realise that it's Anthony. 

God, he really is the most caring guy I've ever met. I must of looked like such a freak, crying hysterically for ages without an explanation but he didn't care. He took care of me when he didn't even know what was wrong.

"Hey" he says quietly, noticing that I was awake "We decided to still bring you to Big Bear even though you where sleeping. It's okay if you don't want to stay though. I'll drive you back after we get there so Chance and Jake can stay.

"No it's fine" my voice comes out hoarse from all my crying. "How close are we?" I sit up and lean my head against the window.

"We left LA an hour ago so we'll be there in just under two hours"

I nod and look out of the window for a while.

"Mackenzie? Do you want to talk about it?" Anthony asks, his voice laced with concern.

I turn my head towards him "Yeah" I decide. "But you can't say anything to anyone else. Not right now anyway"

"Just tell me what's wrong. I hate seeing you so upset"

I look at the front of the car to see Chance sleeping in the passenger side and Jake driving with music playing quietly.

I move closer to Anthony so that Jake doesn't hear.

"So on Friday when you took me to the doctors I was getting a checkup because I had liver cancer 4 years ago and now I have to get checkups every 6 months to make sure it doesn't come back"

He frowns and nods his head, listening carefully to me.

"And today I got the results for my checkups and it's back. My cancer came back and apparently there's no way to treat it so I just have to wait until it kills me"

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry Mackenzie" I see tears forming in his eyes. "How long have you got?"

"Less than a year" I start crying again but this time my tears came out silently. Like the life was already drained out of me.

"What? What do you mean?" Now he was crying.

"I have 200 days until the cancer completely takes over my body and kills me"

"I'm so sorry" He reaches out and puts his arm around me before pulling me into him. "You don't deserve this"

I reach forward and take my earphones out of my bag which was on the floor. Then I plug them into my phone and listen to my music as loudly as I can to try and drown out my thoughts. Anthony keeps his arms tightly around me as if to try and protect me.

Day 2

It's now our first morning in Big Bear and I'm currently sitting downstairs in the wood cabin that we are staying in eating a bowl of cereal. The boys are still sleeping since they were up late doing stuff for Jakes vlog last night. I just went straight to sleep as soon we got here because I had a really bad headache from all of the crying that I had been doing. Anthony had been so sweet to me and had agreed not to tell Jake or Chance until we were back at the team 10 house where I would tell everyone. I just wanted to try and forget about it for a few days because I knew everyone would be treating me with so much sympathy when they found out. I'd been through this before. Except this time I'm going to die.

I finish my bowl of cereal and put it into the dishwasher then sit back down at the table. After turning on the tv which was on mounted on the wall above the table, I flick through the channels and decide to watch Disney channel.

"Mackenzie how could you do that? After Disney did me so dirty your just gonna sit there and watch it" Jake says walking into the room.

"You're the one that's got it tattooed on you" I point out.

"Yeah you're right, I took a big L with that one. So are you ready to hit the slopes?" He says looking in the fridge for something to eat.

"Nah I'm not really feeling well" I say. I had decided not to go because I didn't really feel up to it. I didn't really feel up to anything.

"Oh yeah Anthony said last night. That's why we just left you too sleep on the way here"

"Thanks" I say managing to smile at him.

"It's fine. Anthony really cares about you by the way. He never stops talking about you" he says pouring himself a bowl of cereal since that was all we had.

"Really?"

"Yeah I don't know what's going on between you two but he has the biggest crush on you" He sits down opposite me.

"Are you talking about Toner?" Chance asks walking into the room.

"Yup" Jake nods.

"Oh yeah. Let's just say you give toner a boner" he smirks.

"Chance! Why have you guys always gotta be so dirty"

"We're not. We're just telling the truth" Jake says innocently. "Where is he anyway?"

"In the shower" Chance says sitting next to Jake "You should go join him Kenz"

"Oh my god shut up Chance" I laugh. It felt good to be joking around with them.

"Well if you're not gonna come today what are you gonna do?" Jake asks.

"Why's she not coming?" Chance says.

"She's sick" Jake tells him.

"I dunno I'll probably finish editing my vlog and post it and watch a movie or something"

"Jake I bet you $100 dollars that Tony stays with her" Chance says.

"It's on" They shake hands.

Just then Anthony walks in with wet hair wearing only a pair of sweatpants. Hot.

"Morning boyss" he smiles at Jake and Chance then notices me "Morning Kenz" he walks over and leans down to hug me. I see Jake and Chance smirking at each other behind him.

"Cough Macanthony cough" Jake shouts.

"Are you okay?" Tony whispers, still hugging me.

"I think so"

He pulls away "Are you gonna come snowboarding?"

I shake my head "I don't really feel up to it"

"Okay I'll stay with you" He says without even thinking about it.

"CALLED IT" Chance yells. "Pay up Jakey"

"Guys can you shut up" Anthony says beginning to get annoyed at them.

He turns back to face me.

"It's fine. You go enjoy yourself. I'll probably come tomorrow" I say giving him a small smile.

"No I'm not leaving you on your own. The snow can wait"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes" he smiles "We can do whatever you want"
