Day 5

"Shotgun!" I shout as we step out of the house.

"Dammit you beat me too it" Chance complains.

"I'll drive" Anthony says.

"No you won't it's my truck" Jake says, securing our snowboards and some of our luggage onto the back of it.

I get into the passenger side and put my seatbelt on. A minute later the door opens and Anthony sits down in the drivers seat with the keys.

"He let you drive?" I ask, surprised. Jake is so overprotective of his cars.

"Yup I convinced him" he smirks.

Jake gets into the backseat along with Chance.

"Let's gooo I wanna see Tessa" Chance says, leaning forward to grab the aux cord that was long enough to stretch into the back.

"Okay bro" Anthony laughs and starts up the car.

It was now 6pm and we had been snowboarding all day as well as all day yesterday. The boys had finally convinced me to go and I'm glad they did. It was so much fun. Anthony and I had gone back to how we were before except we hadn't kissed at all. I didn't want to forgive him so easily but it had been hard.

"Yo Chance why have you still not asked her out? I know you're planning on it" I say.

Chance blushes a deep shade of red "Tonerrr why'd you tell her"

"It's not exactly a secret you're crazy about her" Anthony laughs.

"Yeah So when are you asking her out?" I ask again.

"Tomorrow" he smiles. "I'm taking her out for lunch and I'm gonna ask her there"

"Aww cute. Make sure you get her roses"

"Will do" he says.

"Why am I so single? How did you two losers get girlfriends before me?" Jake complains.

"Actually neither of them technically have girlfriends" I point out.

"You know what I mean Kenzie. Do you have any hot single friends?"

"Hmm" I say pretending to think "I would say yes but none of them would date you so no"

"Damn" Anthony laughs beside me.

"You're mean" Jake pouts "I just want a girlfriend"

"Aw Jakey I'm sure you'll find somebody that loves you one day... maybe" I lean over and ruffle his hair.

"How do you stand her Anthony she's so mean" he says jokingly.

"She's something special" Anthony says smiling at me.

"Ewww you guys are so cringey" Jake gags.

"You're just jealous" Anthony says looking at Jake through the wing mirror.

They have some sort of staring contest until Anthony almost crashes the car and has to return to keeping his eyes on the road.

I sleep most of the way back but wake up when we stop at McDonald's for food.

"I'll have 10 chicken nuggets and large fries and a McFlurry and a coke" I say into the intercom thing.

The boys tell me their orders and I say them then Jake hands me money to pay with. After we get our food we park in the car park for a bit so that Anthony has a chance to eat before he goes back to driving.

"Kenzie where does all your food go? I swear you eat so much junk but you have such a nice figure" Tony says as we eat.

"Gym" I tell him between a mouthful of fries.
