Mackenzie and Anthony have been best friends for 6 months but after Mackenzie is diagnosed with cancer and told that she only has 200 days left, things between them change.
I open the door fully to see a bunch of people crowded round, all filming me.
"Happy birthday Mackenzie" Tessa smiles still vlogging me.
"Ohhh So This is why you were delaying us"
"Yeah the boys weren't ready" she laughs.
We both walk into the house and everyone goes into the kitchen where there is lots of drinks and snacks, much like the Martinez twins party.
"Hey Kenz" Anthony hugs me. "Surprise"
"Was it your idea?" I smile at him.
"Yeah and Tessa's"
"Thank you" I kiss him "I love it"
"I love your hair by the way" he says running his fingers through it.
"Thanks Toner" by now it was just us standing by the door "C'mon lets go enjoy the party" I drop my shopping bags at the bottom of the stairs.
We walk to the kitchen together and on the way I get wished a happy birthday by multiple people who I thank and smile at.
Once we reach the table where the food and drinks are I take a slice of pizza and start hungrily eating it.
"How old are you gonna be?" Anthony asks.
"22"
"I don't know about you but you're gonna be feeling 22" he laughs.
"I wanna vlog this" I decide. Anthony follows me up to my room where I drop off the stuff I bought at the grove and search for my vlog camera.
I hear my door close and look up to see Anthony staring at me.
"What?" I giggle. I get so nervous when people stare at me. Especially him.
"You're really hot" he walks over to me in a possessive sort of way.
"So are you" I get lost in his chocolatey brown eyes as he puts his hand under my chin and brushes over my lips with his thumb before leaning down to kiss me. I kiss back and we start making out. He picks me up and puts me on my desk with my legs wrapped round his waist as our kiss gets more and more heated.
"Anthony" I breath heavily after pulling away. "We have to go back downstairs everyone's here for me"
"Only if you promise we can continue this later" he holds my hand, intertwining our fingers.
"I promise" I grin and give him one more quick kiss before picking up my vlog camera and leaving my room still holding his hand.
"Finally what were you guys doing up there?" Chance smirks as we reach the bottom of the stairs.
"Just getting Kenzies vlog camera" Anthony shrugs as we go into the kitchen where everyone else is.
"Suree" Chance nudges him. "Anyway it's time for cake. Stand by the table Mackenzie"
I do as Chance says then the lights turn off and a cake is brought towards me. It is a chocolate cake and is lit by 22 candles. I stand and smile as everyone sings happy birthday to me then blow out the candles when they're done.
"Did you make a wish?" Tessa asks excitedly.
"Yeah" I smile.
I wish that you all live long and happy lives and I wish I could be there to see it.
"Let's all have some cake" I say trying not to think about the fact that tomorrow will be my last ever birthday.
I cut up the large cake into small pieces and let people take them which soon turns into a food fight thanks to Jake.
I talk to lots of people and eat more pizza before I begin to get really tired. I was already tired before we got to the house and that was nearly 4 hours ago.
I sit down on the couch for a rest and Anthony joins me a few minutes later.
"Are you Okay?"
"Yeah I'm just exhausted" I rest my head on his shoulder.
"You can go up to bed if you want" He says.
"No I can't this party is for me"
"It's fine. You go up and we'll get everyone to leave"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah I'll be up soon" he kisses me and I walk up the stairs to go to bed. As I'm taking off my makeup and getting changed the chatter and music dies down and just as I'm getting into bed Anthony walks in.
"Happy birthday Kenz" he grins and hugs me.
"Thanks, is it already 12?"
"Yup 12 on the dot and I just posted my instagram birthday post for you"
I smile and go onto Instagram to see that he posted a picture of us at the photo shoot in New York where we looked quite coupley. After liking and commenting on it I cuddle up to Anthony who is now in my bed.
"This is the perfect way to start my birthday"
"Just you wait for tomorrow" he smirks.
