Amazed at his sudden response I open the book and place it in front of him. "Solidious Remerificous; The soul taker spell, I can use this to take Elucia's soul. This way I can threaten Adam to find the realm breaker spell he had hidden away. They may not have any powers now but the power I emit makes her and Adam both strong. After they transform me I can do this, I'll be strong enough." He arches an eyebrow and gives me a concerned look.
"How will I know that I haven't lost you? I don't know if the effects of the dark angel magic will take control of your emotions." I think for a moment.
"I think if you would be there, it would make things easier." He gives me a puzzled look once again. "It would remind me of my cause Dominic. I'll tell Adam that I want you make you suffer by agreeing to become an angel, I was the general and I swore to protect Laridosa. He would consider it?"
He lets out a breath and nods. "It's worth a try. How will you know how to perform the spell?" I turn the pages once again, this time it lands of a black colour page. "This spell is sacred, it's only used in times of need. It will enable the spell as soon as I say the words, trust me." He smiles rejoiced by our plan.
"I'll trust you princess. Freedom is only a day away." His wings life themselves off the ground and slowly flutter, bits of sand and mud shoot off in different directions. "Are they weak?" I stand up and gently put my palm over his wings, feeling their energy. My eyes close as I whisper a spell to transfer some of my energy into him, saying the words slowly and carefully I make sure none of my dark magic goes through to him.
He rapidly blinks his eyes, the new power rushes through his gains, filling his soul with a new kind of power. I take my hand away as soon as I feel that he has enough power to last till tomorrow.
His blue eyes looks over to me, fighting back his tears he bows his head humbly. I kneel back down. "You don't need to do that, you were weak and I need you to be your maximum tomorrow." He smiles and takes my hand. "Thank you princess. I hadn't been able to feel a brink of light energy and it filled me with nothing but sorrow. You've lifted my spirits more than I thought you would have been able to. It means too much for me, maybe I was wrong about you. You show more kindness than those creatures could even fathom. You're not one of them." He smiles and tightly but gently grips my hand.
I warmly smile with him but we suddenly get interrupted by the sound of the metal door slamming. Foot steps hurriedly ascend the stairs. He quickly lets go of my hand and signals me to walk forward.
I grab the book and run to the end of the stairs where I see Elucia. "What's wrong Elucia? Did something happen?" I ask her trying to be as sincere as I could. She pauses and looks at me with a relieved expression. "Oh sister you frightened me. I though the fairy had started using his magic again. I sensed light magic and came as quickly as I could. I suppose it was your magic mixing with the angel magic." She takes a breath and frowns.
She walks upstairs and I follow her. Looking over to Dominic I see him mimicking "I'll see you tomorrow" I nod and keep up with her.
We come out of the basement and close the door.
"What is the matter? Did something happen?" I ask her again.
"No it's nothing. To be frank it's completely stupid." her expression doesn't change, there's obviously something wrong. I probably should ask her further.
"Sister, why don't you tell me what's wrong? It'll help you get your mind off it would it not?" I gently put my hand on hers. She smiles and embraces me tightly.
Hesitant at first, I return the hug. She draws back and clears her throat to speak. "You emit the samr wave of light energy as our mother did. When I sensed your magic a wave of nausea hit me. I was convinced that she had returned. Reality hit me too hard when I saw that it was you who was standing there..."
She lifts her head and smiles. "But I wouldn't have it any other way. Tomorrow I'm getting back my sister and I wouldn't have it any other way." She hugs once again and turns around to leave.
She pauses and looks back, "It's late sister, take some rest. Tomorrow is a big day."
