My mind was taken over by thoughts. Elcuia and I sat down in the study, waiting for Adam to walk in. I studied the room, taking in the fine decoration. The walls were crimson red, two gold chandeliers hung from the ceiling. The walls had many paintings hung, many were of him and Elucia but one stood out. In this picture there was a woman, long black hair flowed down to her hips, beautiful violet wings behind her. The same green eyes that I see when I look at Elucia and the same brown skin that I see when I look in the mirror.
It was no mistake that that was our unnamed mother.
Soon after Adam walked in with bunch of people who i assumed were royals. After a lengthy introduction a small party commenced in the study. The smell of champagne roamed the air. I hastily walk over to Adam, "Father.. this whole thing is making me extremely nervous.... may I be excused into the cellar?" He arches an eyebrow turning around. "You've been giving that cell a lot of visits. May I ask why?" I hesitate but quickly form a reply. "To test out my magic of course! What's a queen worth if she doesn't know her magic?" He smiles and takes a sip of his champagne. "Very well dear. Be here in thirty minutes."
I quickly sprint to the exit grabbing my cloak along the way. Practically running down the stairs I reach Dominic's cell. Retracting my wings I put on the cloak. He moves his head up to the sound of my heels. "Dominic we have a problem!" I practically shout at him.
He scans me from head to toe. "Are we heading to a party?" He asks sarcastically. I roll my eyes in response. "Yes, my coronation!" Quickly i explain the situation to him. His eyes wonder about thinking of the current situation.
"So you want this whole plan to be taken back by an hour? So that when you become powerful you are also queen? Do you think they will follow your orders?" I had not completely thought that through but if they did not then blood spill was bound to happen. "I will kill as many as I need to." I muttered coldly.
Dominic stood up and walked as far as his chains could reach towards me. Suddenly grabbing the tip of my fingers with both his hands he bows down, "I am in debt to you Analissa. You have given me a will to live and a cause to die for. I will forever be of service to you and will always fight by your side."
I put my hand on top of his and smile warmly at him. "You don't need to do that Dominic. I am doing this for my people." He smiles in return and moves back and sits down. "I will see you at nightfall." And with that I made my way back to the study.
