I think for a moment. If I do not agree with her she will break my mind. I can act it out, if they are willing to make me powerful I can escape. Even if it is at the cost of my true wings.
The next day
My eyes open as the light of day appears from the holes on the roof. I look around the room and notice that I am still in the same place where I was before. I move my hand around the sofa and bring it closer to my face. I try to summon the illusion gate but end up failing due to my lack of power. I could hear chatter coming from the other side of the door.
It slides open and Elucia stands before me. She summons an illusion gate that is entirely different from the ones I had seen and begins chanting. "Memerious illusious." She keeps repeating the words until the gate begins to illuminate. She places her hand on mine and grabs it tightly. "I know you want to know sister." She holds out her other hand, I stare at it wanting to take hold of it. I could hear my mind screaming at me to not grab it, but even before I know it I could feel her power transfer onto me. Tiny glimpses of past memories flood my mind.
I black out for a moment, reveling in the dreams of my past. A sudden gasp for air wakes me. It was all true. Elucia sits on her knees holding onto my hand tightly. My grip tightens, "You weren't lying.."
She nods standing up. "Thanks to father we were able to restore some of your memories. Although they are not much I hope you see that we aren't the true enemy. Please sister, agree to be in legion with us. We only want the angels to be free of the curse the fairies put on us. They are bad people."
A knock on the door interrupts us. "Daughter, a word please?" A male voice speaks on the other side. "I'll be just outside father." She looks over to me. "Think about it. We will make you powerful enough to destroy those bad kings. You can be the angel you were meant to be." She smiles, closing the door behind her as she leaves.
Make me powerful? If I agree to this I can get to the light realm. I have no intention of destroying anyone I just want to be free of this hell. The door opens again and Elucia enters. Her eyes intently meet mine expecting a truce. "I think I can believe you... sister. The light realm had done nothing but use me all this time.." I mutter. Elucia beams with joy. "Fantastic! Soon your power will return to you. Although we can't use our powers you can! You're special because of mother and father. You can destroy the realm divider!"
"Yes, of course. Duty to my people I suppose. And what of father? How does he expect me to over power a whole kingdom?"
"Oh that is easy." Elucia's father enters the room. "Unlike the light realm, the technology here is quite advanced. I have created something that will combine your power with any other powerful creature to make you even more powerful. I have just the right person for this. But I need to know if we can trust you. I think a little test will prove your leigance." He motions for us to step out of the room.
Elucia offers me her hand and I stand up, we walk to a staircase that leads to a basement of some sort. At the end of the stairs was a large room filled with cages. Many were empty but some had different animals inside of them. A few guards were scattered around the room to guard it. We walk to the corner of the room where a fairy was held captive. He had yellow colour wings that meant he was barely powerful.
He was skin to the bones, his eyes glared at the floor barely able to move his head. His hair was dark and long, he looked as if he had been captive here for a long time. Unable to move his body he looks up towards us blue eyes full of tears. "Have you come to torture me- wait.. You're a fairy?" His eyes widen at the sight of me.
