Watching her transform brought me pain. The grip around my arm grew tighter as I tried to escape the guards and save my savoir. Trying to fight this battle was impossible. I was weak and useless, nothing I could do could help her.

My gaze turned towards Elucia, the other victim of this madman. Tears covered her pale face, her grip on the chair tight as she fought a war with the machine to release her. Yet another battle that I could not intervene in.

The loud sound and lights stopped.

Adam, eyes wide open stared at his creation. What has he done?

She possessed angel wings, but with a deformity. That was the fact that they grew out of her violet wings. She held her head low, I could see that she was awake from her intense breathing. A dark aura danced around her body, chanting that they had won the fight and she had lost.

"Willow?" Adam suddenly spoke. Her head shot up and her eyes rapidly circled the room. I watched them, there was something different this time.

"Yes father?" The words hit me right in the chest. She lost herself. She never once called Adam father. He motioned for a doctor to release her from her straps. She slowly stood up and released her wings. They were large and occupied a lot of room. One glance at Elucia and one glance at me. Nothing. She sensed nothing.

Adam grabbed her cloak and put it over her wings while she slowly retracted them.

"We had a malfunction my dear, but we will fix you up right after you do one task for me." He grinned looking over to me.

"Yes father, anything you need."

"I want you to kill the pathetic fairy."

"Yes father."

Her eyes focused on me. The guard that was holding me pushed me to the ground, my hands still chained up behind my back I struggled to get on my knees.

I could feel a tight grip on my collar. My eyes locked with hers as she pulled me off the ground. Summoning her illusion gate, she began whispering a chant.

This is my last chance. Even if I die I will make sure that she is safe away from these foul creatures.

"Please forgive me for not telling you sooner." She lifted her gaze at my faint whisper. "I'm sorry that I couldn't tell about how breathtaking you look." I smiled lightly not knowing how she'd react.

I watched her eyes and finally realised what was different. There was a dark circle of aura circling those pure brown irises. But the more I kept my gaze on them, the more I realised that they were fading.

Did it work? Is she back??

A smile crept on the tip of her lips. Slowly letting go of her tight grip she whispered, "thank you."
