Everyone later decided to commence inside of a large hall to begin the ceremony. My father, Elucia and I all wait inside a room until the time was right.
"I can't believe my eyes. We are finally going to have you again sister. You will be queen." Elucia squealed with joy. Adam let out a small chuckle as response. "This will be just like a wedding, except there will be no groom and you will become your own queen. Are you ready me dear?"
I thought about his words. I'm going to be queen. And an angel. Hopefully it won't make me forget my goal, I can't let down Dominic.
"Willow are you listening?" His coarse voice cut through my thoughts. "Yes father apologies, i was lost in thought." He shakes his head and repeats what he said before, "Don't forget the vow you're taking. You're here to become the queen this land needs. Together we will take the land that ruined us all. By your command we begin the path to our success. After you're an angel my part will be complete."
A small boy knocked on the door and entered. "Your majesty it is time." Adam gave me his hand to wrap around as he began to escort me out of the room. Elucia followed.
We stood before two large doors. Voices could be heard from inside but suddenly they stopped. The large doors began to open and a large array of people stood staring at me. With pride Adam began walking smiling with everyone. I tried my best to show a fake smile but I was dreading the whole think on the inside. The end of the path seemed miles away and I felt as if I wanted to throw up. I hate crowds..
A man dressed in white steps at the end. A beautiful crown of silver and black diamond laid across a pillow ready to be worn. The man spoke and the ceremony began.
He spoke of the laws and the history of this kingdom. Or my kingdom as he phrased it. He spoke of the great battle and the unforgivingness of the light realm. Then he proceeded to have me repeat the vows of the queen. After doing so I realised that the crown was being placed on my head.
I could barely hear anything. It radiated power beyond anything I could comprehend. The darkness that crown held could possess someone for all eternity. As soon as it was placed on my head I could feel it's raw power surfing through my body. Completely disconnecting me from myself.
Adam put his arm around mine and smiled. "Do you feel the power my dear? Do you feel how you can't control your body anymore? How you only have your mind to wonder with. Did you honestly believe that I did not know of your plans? Darling I've been trapped in this forsaken place all my life and I'm not going to let a pathetic fairies insight ruin my escape. Once you are fully an angel I will have you kill that being on your own. Until then, he can watch. Now walk and smile."
Unable to control my movement i slowly began to walk beside him. My mind howling at me for what I have done. I had no choice but to follow him.
