And if you're still bleeding, you're the lucky ones. Because most of us are feeling they're dead and they're gone.

THE serenity approached those who were plotting plans in the Animal Clinic. It had only been one night since they had watched one of their friends walk away with her head held up high, but eyes filled with tribulation and agony. The choices given by Cassandra had been forgotten by them because one of the rules of Scott McCall's pack, no one is left behind–including her, even though she wasn't currently on the same side as them. Scott and Lydia knew that the youngest Argent had a reason why she ended up this way. If Stiles was here, he would also agree with them because compared to the others, the golden trio knew Cassandra better. They knew very well how much Gerard Argent changed them all, from the moment he controlled Jackson, caused Allison's mind filled with revenge and rage to the point the secret revealed itself that he was the one who put nefarious creatures inside Cassandra's body. It had destroyed them individually, but Cassandra was the worst affected.

And it had been more than twenty minutes since Mason knew the pack hadn't left Beacon Hills. And he couldn't help but was relieved to hear that. But, one thing that still distracted him was what he heard this early morning before he went to class. It was a short phone call conversation, but he could assume that something was wrong.

"It was Nolan." Mason started. "His voice sounded apprehensive. And it was obvious he was talking to Cassandra."

Theo listened to him carefully as he leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over the chest. At the mention of his girlfriend's name, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. How could he not? Another guy had twenty-four hours access to reach her while he had to be trapped with people who barely consider him a comrade. "What did you hear?"

"Nothing good, I guess. I heard Nolan say what can I do or get for you, you don't sound okay, and let me help you to find any cure." He explained, anxiety etching on his face. "Whatever that is, I can sum up that Cassandra is hiding something from us–reasons why she ended up like this. And Nolan is the only one who knows everything at the moment."

"Why should Nolan though?" Corey questioned.

Mason shrugged. "How should I know?"

Lydia bit her bottom lip nervously as she stared at the metal desk in front of her. The spectrum swirled in her mind supremely lucid, though it was only piece by piece, but last night when the strawberry blonde surveyed straight into Cassandra's brown doe eyes–all the pieces were fused and showed an absolutely egregious outcome. It was another vision she got and she definitely didn't get any slightest relief from it.

"Lydia?" Scott called, frowning in the process as it made her realize that all eyes were now on her. "Are you okay? Do you have any clue about this?"

"Hideous clues, yeah." Lydia answered automatically. "I have some."

The moment when Lydia escaped the words out of her mouth, their bodies stiffened. It wasn't possible if Cassandra chose Gerard's side for no reason, they deeply knew it, even Liam. But, that was the thing – he was more concerned with his dander and hostility towards her until he didn't even think about why Cassandra did what she did. Theo and Scott realized that she wasn't okay, hell, they both never thought that Cassandra was mentally close to the word okay after everything she went through.

"What did you see?" Malia asked, looking at her wearily.

Lydia exhaled a shaky breath, sparing glances to all of them. "I saw her standing in front of me. There was blood everywhere–she looked completely horrible with black mist girdled her. I heard screams around us, clashing sounds of swords and roars. It was like I was in the middle of a war, but there's a very striking difference in it."
