Sleepover

So my on friday i asked my friend if she wanted to have a sleepover this weekend. She said "sure how about tonight"

So i asked my mom. My mom said yes

At five my friend said nevermind she had a french lesson and asked if we could have a sleepover tomorrow night (today) i asked and my mom said sure

Today i asked her what time she was coming over. She said 6:00

At 6:00 she told me 7:30

And 7:30 she told me 7:40

At 7:40 she told me 8:00

And 8 she wasn't even on her way so I cancelled the sleepover.

She should have just told me if she was busy. I wasted my day waiting for her to come over when I could have gone to the store or hung out with another friend.

The whole point of me wanting to have a sleepover this weekend was because i was feeling bad and lonely so I wanted to hang out with someone. But now because she kept cancelling i have to spend my weekend alone anyway.

I'm frustrated/hurt/sad.
